"Darshu", someone playfully called out from beside. We looked in the direction and Darshan removed his hands from my face with a jerk. Why not? After all his girlfriend stood there. "Hey", he said. "Hi", Bhakti excitedly said and stupidly waved her hand. She wasn't just a kid, but an idiot too. Darshan waved her back, the same way, she did, and I gave him a weird look. She came and stood besides Darshan. "You are here only? I thought we were meeting at the cafè near your home, but it seems like you haven't gone home yet", she said. "Ya, actually we were talking", Darshan said and looked towards me. "By the way, W, she is Bhakti, my girlfriend", he proudly told and kept his hand on her shoulder. "And Bhakti, she is W. I mean Divya", he said. "Hi, W", Bhakti said and I shot a death stare at her. "Hi, and sorry but, it's Divya for you. Only Darshan calls me W", I said. She looked at Darshan expecting him to defend her. I was sure that he'd take her side, but to my relief, he wasn't completely mad in love yet, he was bit in her senses because he didn't defend her, in fact, he said, "Ya, she's right. Only I call her that, no one else does. So, sorry". I swear to God, if he would have allowed her to say that, I would have killed him. "Okay, come let's go", Darshan said and Bhakti started leaving, but he didn't. "Don't worry about Kartik", he seriously said and left. "V", I called out making him stop and turn around. "Remember your promise", I reminded him because I feared that he would do something wrong. "Promises are meant to be broken", he said and left before I could say anything else. Even though I had stopped talking to Kartik, yet I felt pitty and bad about him because Darshan's anger was terrible, and this time, it was not it's peak. Darshan is a kind of person who can tolerate anything, but when it comes to women's security and respect, he is very short tempered. He respected women more than anything else, and Kartik gave a full fledged supply of oxygen to the flame, and now he was assured to get burned. More than what will be Kartik's condition, what scared me was, Darshan. I feared that he wouldn't think twice before doing anything and would end up getting into a trouble.
