Ga: Omkaaraa...(loudly)

Omkara stopped in his tracks and he realized that he had crossed his limits, once he heard her tone. He turned back and looked at her with a look of feigned innocence.

Gauri walked down the stairs and whispered dangerously to him.

Ga: I need to talk to you..

Omkara nodded and both of the walked downstairs. Together, they passed the drawing room and walked out of the house, to be out of reach from the children. Once they reached the portico of the house front, they stopped. Gauri faced him with a hostile look.

Ga: Omkara..I need to amend some rules in our deal..!!

Omkara waited for her to speak again and didn't try to interrupt. Gauri looked at him confidently and continued.

Ga: You can't just go on with physical intimacies like this, Omkara..They are kids, for heavens sake..They will suggest anything, but you are an adult..! I just agreed to act like your wife, in front of your kids..That doesn't mean that you can do anything to me, Ok..!

Gauri's voice shook and she tried hard to maintain her composure. Omkara kept looking at her angry face and thought, "Wow..She looks even more beautiful, when angry..!!"

Om: (resigned look)I am sorry, Gauri..It won't happen again..

And then without saying anything else, he walked down the steps and was gone in a jiffy.

Gauri watched him leave, and instictively she touched her cheek and her fingers brushed the spot where he had kissed her.

Just then the kids entered the portico. Ayaan was having a wallet in his hand.

Ay: Papa dropped this upstairs..Did he leave..?

Ga: Yes beta..give it to me..I will keep it..

The kids gave it to her and ran inside. Gauri decided that she will make a call to him and inform about the wallet.

As she was about to move inside, her feet slipped a little at the threshold, and the wallet flew off from her hand.

It lay open on the ground and she went nearer to pick it up. She bent down to get it, and then she noticed a photograph inside the wallet.

It was the photo of Omkara with a woman. His arm was around her shoulder and both were smiling happily. Their love for each other was quite evident in their eyes.

She was very much beautiful and Gauri couldn't help feeling a slight amount of jealousy.

Ga: So this is his wife..Mother of Ayaan and Navya..!!

While driving to his office, he thought,"I know Gauri..I shouldn't have kissed you..My intention was not to hurt you..I just wanted to please the kids..But I don't know the reason which made me really kiss you..!!"

He thought about the day when he had first kissed Ishana on her cheek. A bitter smile crept upon his lips.

He compared her with Gauri. Gauri was such a sweetheart whereas Ishana was selfish and stubborn. Ishana never really loved him, or else she would never have left him without understanding his plight.

Just then he got a call on his mobile. It was Gauri and a happy smile appeared on his face.                                    

Om: Hello, Gaurii..

Ga: Omkara..You have left your wallet here..

Om: Oh..Is it..? I will be back now..

Omkara felt a thrill at going back to her home so that he could see her again and he took a U turn and drove the car back home.

When he reached there, Gauri was waiting for him in the drawing room. He approached her and she gave him his wallet.

She didn't mention that she had seen the photograph inside it. she didn't want him to think that she had been spying behind his back.

Om: (smiles) Thank you Gauri..

He turned and was about to go, when..

Ga: Omkara, I have to talk to you..

Om: (turns back)What is it, Gauri..?

Ga: We can sit and talk..

Omkara nodded and they sat on the couch.

Ga: I have a request to you..

Om: What is it..? I am really indebted to you Gauri..You can ask me anything..

Ga: Only a few days are left for this drama to end..After that you all will return to Delhi..Now that you are here in Mumbai, I want you to go and talk with your wife and bring her back to the kids..Promise me that you will..

Omkara didn't know what to say..He got up..

Om:I don't think I can promise you that..I am sorry Gauri...

He walked off without uttering another word..Gauri sighed and shook her head feeling exasperated..

Gauri thought, "Ohh God..! I don't know where this 'Deal Drama' is heading to.. I have started developing feelings for Omkara and I don't know what is in his mind. What was the need to kiss me like that in the morning...(remembers the kiss and then thinks again)...And I did melt in his single kiss..!"

Gauri felt digusted and she was angry with herself and him.

Omkara, thought while he was getting into his car. "I am sorry Gauri..I know that you are disturbed by my behaviour towards you in the morning..But that doesn't mean that you can lecture me about what to do with my personal life..." He gave another look towards the house and drove away in anger.

In the evening, Gauri received a text message from Omkara

"Hi.. I will not be coming home for two more days..I have to work away from the city..Will be returning late as usual to my villa..Convey my regards to the kids..Will be back to your place on Saturday evening."

Gauri was not at all happy with his behavior. She knew that he was deliberately avoiding her. She thought, "He could have at least called me up and shared the news. "

It was night and Omkara was returning from work in his car. Just then his car broke down in the middle of a road.

He got out of the car and opened the bonnet. He tried doing something, but his efforts were in vain and called his secretary to send for a mechanic to the spot.

Just as he was about to get into the car to wait for the mechanic, another car stopped beside him. The glass pane at the back window moved down and he saw her face after 5 years.

Om: Ishana..!! (whispers to himself)

Ishana got down from the car and approached him rather cautiously.

Is: (slowly)Omkara..How are you..? I am surprised to see you, here in Mumbai..

Omkara frowned at her and turned away, completely avoiding her. But inside, his temper was slowly bubbling up to boiling point.

Is: (hurt) Omkara..I..

Then she noticed the car and understood that he was stranded.

Is: I think your car broke down..Shall I drop you somewhere..?

Omkara's breath was becoming shallow with each second. Still he maintained his composure and pretended as if she was not present there.

Is: Since how long are you in Mumbai..? Are you on a business trip..?

Just then a mechanic arrived. Omkara felt immense relief and he approached the person.

Ishana watched him having a conversation with the car mechanic. Omkara and that person went near the car and he started to work on it. Ishana realized that there was no point trying to talk with Omkara again. She walked off towards her car, got into it and went away, with a bitter expression.

After her car was at a certain distance, Omkara gazed at it with a murderous look in his eyes.

That night, the time was 10.30 pm and Gauri was lying on her bed with the kids.

When she heard the doorbell, she got up from her bed, feeling alarmed.

Ga: Who is it..? at this time..?

Ayaan and Navya were sound asleep. Without disturbing them, she got out of the bed and walked downstairs. When she opened the door, she was shocked to see Omkara standing at the door at this time of night.

Ga: Omkara..but you said that, you wont be coming for two days..

Om: Gauriii...

His speech was slurred and his eyes were red and watery. Gauri was shocked again when she realized that he was actually drunk.

Ga: Are you drunk..?!!

Omkara smiled with a sour expression and walked inside with an unsteady gait, ignoring her question. Gauri had been really angry with him since morning. And now he was here, at this late hour, in a drunken state.

Gauri looked at him with an unbelievable look on her face. She crossed her forearms across her chest and regarded him with a serious expression.

Ga: Omkara..Don't you have any manners..? Have you looked at the time..?

Omkara stopped in his tracks, and turned to look at her with a bemused look.

Om: Manneerrrsss... Whaaat wrooong did I dooo now..?

Gauri approached him and he regarded her with interest. His legs were unsteady and he kept swaying on the spot. Gauri realized that there was no use talking to him in this condition.

But she was not sure about what to do with him and she was cautious about going near him.

Om: (stutters) Ohhh...Ok..Ok.. I - I am sorry Gauri..For talking rudely to you in the morning...I j - just came to say...soorrryyy...

Then he looked around the place as if searching for someone.

Om: Ayaaann...Navyaaa..where are you..? Paaapa has come hooome..!

Ga: (shakes her head in disapproval) Ayaan and Navya are sleeping, Omkara..The time is 10.45 pm..Do you even know that..?

Omkara realized what she was trying to say. He raised his hand and clasped it to his mouth as if shocked.

Om: Reallyyy..?!!

He raised his other hand and looked into his watch. He blinked and tried to concentrate hard, since his vision seemed blurred.

Om: Ok Gaurii..If you are saying sooo, the time would be 10.45..Ok then.. I am going back to my villa..Goodnight..(smiles)

Saying so, he tried to walk away from there towards the door again. But as he was nearing the door, he collapsed and fell on to the floor.

Gauri forgot her hesitation and hurried to help him. When she offered her hand for him to get up, he looked at her with an mushy look.

Om: (smiles) How sweeet...Thank youuu, Gauriii..

Gauri felt sympathetic and helped him get up.

Ga: Now you don't go back in this condition, Omkara..

Om: Ok..Your wish is my command, madam..

Ga: How did you drive till here..? God knows..(shakes her head)

After closing the front door, she took him upstairs to the guest bedroom. She led him inside and helped him sit on the bed. She knelt down and removed his shoes and socks. He sat like a meek little boy, and let her do everything. She took off his coat and loosened his tie.

She didn't know why she was taking care of him in this way. But she was going on doing them. When she looked at his face again, she felt a strong feeling of affection for him inside her heart.

She felt that she was going to lose her heart to this man, if she kept staring like this. She turned away quickly and said.

Ga: Now please go to sleep, Omkara..We will talk tomorrow..

But as she started to walk away, she felt shocked. He had caught hold of her hand.

Gauri turned and looked at him. He was looking at her with an imploring look.

Om: Gauri..Please..Don't leave me alone..

Ga: (uncertainly)..Omkara..I...

Omkara signalled her to sit beside him. Gauri felt her heart melt and nodded without thinking anything else. She went towards him and sat by his side. She was gazing into his tired eyes with compassion.

Om: (painfully smiles)Gauriii..Why didn't you come into my life, some years before..?

Gauri was surprised at his question and felt deeply touched at the same time. She could feel the pain in his voice and simply gazed into his eyes, unable to say anything.

Omkara raised his hand and moved a stray hair from her face behind her ear. She felt a tickling sensation when he touched behind her earlobe and squirmed slightly.

Ga: (slowly) Omkara..I think I should go..

Om: Shhh..

Omkara raised his finger and touched her lips signalling her to stop talking. Gauri's eyes widened a little and she blinked uncertainly. Omkara smiled and gazed at her with his charming eyes.

Om: If we had met earlier in our lives, I would have married you, Gauri..!

Gauri gasped when she heard his confession, and simply gaped at Omkara.

Om: You are really nice, Gauri..

Omkara kissed on her forehead and held onto her with lots of love, by resting his face on her shoulder. Gauri was too shocked to react..
