It was 8 pm and Omkara arrived at Gauri's residence right on time. Gauri was watching T.V when he arrived.

When she noticed him, she stood up and smiled at him amicably.

But he didn't return it and looked around the place searching for his kids.

Om: Where are the kids..?

Ga :(calmly) They are asleep..

Omkara looked at her in disbelief and sighed.

Om: (impatient tone)I had told you that I will be coming at 8 o clock..Then why did you let them sleep?

Ga: (coolly) They were playing all evening..So they would be tired right..?!

Om:(sighs angrily) Where are they sleeping..?Show me..!!

Ga:(impatiently) Omkara..But..

Om: (angrily shouts) I want to take them home..Damn it..!

Gauri understood that there was no use arguing with him. She walked upstairs and Omkara followed her.

She led him to the bedroom in which the kids were sleeping peacefully.

Omkara looked at them for a moment. Then he walked towards the bed and bend down to pick Ayaan first. But the kid tried to shake off his hands and started to whimper in his sleep.

Ay: No Papa..Don't take us away..Hmmm...(fidgeting)

Omkara reluctantly laid him down and took hold of Navya. She began to weep bitterly in her sleep flailing her little arms and legs.

Na:Mmm...hmmm..Mummaaa..mmm..

Omkara was really feeling bad now. He sighed deeply and laid her back on the bed.

Gauri was looking at the scene with tears in her eyes. She too was feeling bad for the kids.

Omkara left the bed side and saw Gauri at the door. He ignored her and walked out of the room.

Ga: Where is she..??

Omkara stopped and turned.

Om: Who..?

Ga: Their mother..

Omkara didn't reply and looked away..

Ga :(angrily) I am asking you something..

Om: (equally angrily) What if I don't care to answer you..?!

Omkara turned away from her and started to walk, but she caught hold of his hand. He stopped.

Ga: (accusing tone) You can ignore me..But can't you see the pain of your kids..?How can you ignore them..?

Omkara closed his eyes tightly. His temper was reaching its boiling point. He shook off her hand and turned to face her. Gauri could see the pain and anger in his eyes.

She tried to soften her tone and chose her words carefully.

Ga: (softly as if pleading)Couldn't you just get their mother back.. At least you can try right..??

Omkara sighed and spoke with a resigned tone.

Om: Listen Gauri.. I don't want to discuss my private life with a stranger like you..

Ga: (shrugs )Fine...But..

Omkara held up his hand signaling her to stop..

Om: (clearly and confidently) I haven't finished yet..I am leaving my kids with you for today night..I can't forcefully take them away by making them cry like this. When I come here tomorrow morning, I want my kids back. They must come with me without making any fuss..!!

He said the last three words clearly with a warning tone.

Om: Did you get that..? (moving close to her with a dangerous look)You must tell them that you are not their mother..!

Before she could reply, he walked away..She gazed at him from above as he walked down the staircase, crossed the drawing room and walked out through the front doors..

When Omkara arrived there next day morning, he was utterly surprised by the view which welcomed him.

On the floor above, Gauri was running after his kids and she had a bottle of oil in her hand..

Ay: (running) Mumma..I don't want to oil my hair..

Ga: (trying to catch any one of them)Stop there you two..Oh god!! It's good for your hair..

Na:(stops) You can't catch us Mumma..(laughs and runs again)

Omkara understood that she hadn't yet told them that she was not their mother. He clenched his fists and watched her, gritting his teeth.

Just then Gauri caught hold of Ayaan and succeeded in putting the oil in his hair. Then Navya also stopped running and went to her, laughing.

She applied the oil to her hair too..Then she handed them towels and led them to the bathroom..

Omkara hastily walked up the stairs. She was coming out of the kids' bedroom just then.

Without warning, Omkara just took hold of her hand and forcefully led her inside another bedroom. He closed the door from inside and locked it. Gauri was really shocked by his behavior. She was desperately trying to release her hand from his grip.

Om:(roared angrily) HOW DARE YOU..??!!

Ga:(clearly hurt) Omkara..What are you...

Om: (shouts) WHY DON'T YOU JUST LEAVE MY KIDS TO ME..? DIDN'T I WARN YOU YESTERDAY..THAT I WANT THEM BACK..?!!

Ga:(struggling) Please leave my hand..You are hurting me..(tears in her eyes)

Omkara let go of her hand and turned away from her feeling frustrated.

Ga:(kindly) Your anger is completely justified. But please believe me..I didn't want to hurt you in any way..

Omkara turned towards her and looked into her eyes with an unbelievable expression.

Ga:(tears in her eyes) You know what Omkara..Your kids didn't let me sleep all night..They were clinging to me even in their sleep, as if they feared that I will leave them..They need their mother Omkara..You must understand..!!

Omkara thought for some time and then suddenly smiled, surprising Gauri.

Ga: (doubtfully) Why are you smiling..?

Om:(smartly) You become their Mother ,then..

Ga:(shocked)What..?!!

Om: (business like expression) Only for two weeks..

Ga:(feeling disgusted) What do you mean..?

Om:(turning away from her and smiles wickedly) Yes Madam..This is your punishment..!! (looks at her again with a determined look)For telling lies to my kids..You must act like you are their Mom, till we are here in Mumbai..Are you ready?

Omkara gazed at her stunned face with grim satisfaction. Gauri thought for a moment and then answered.

Ga:(determined face) I am ready Omkara..(then smartly)But do I need to act like your wife too, then..?(frowns with a mocking smile)

Om: (smartly)Of course yes..!!But only in front of my kids..(gazes her face with seething disapproval)

Ga: Hmm..Got it..!!(smiles)

Om: So ..It's a deal then..(holding out his hand)

Ga: Sure..Deal!!(shaking hands with him)

After that Omkara walked towards the door and unlocking it, he went out.

Ga: (to herself) Mr. Omkara Singh Oberoi.. I am ready to play my part in this drama..But you don't know that my ultimate aim is to bring back the kids' real mother..I will make you bring their mother back..For Ayaan and Navya..I am ready to do this..!!

She too walked out of the room and then went out to see whether the kids had finished their bath. Omkara was in their bedroom and he was toweling Navya's hair. Gauri went and helped Ayaan in drying his hair.

Ay: Papa..Today is Sunday and you won't be having office..

Om: Yes beta..

Ay: We want to go for an outing..

Na: Woww bhaiyya.. !!Nice idea..I love you..

Om: Of course my darlings..We will all go..Gauri, I will go to the villa and bring the clothes of our kids.

Ga: (smiles)Ok Omkara..

As promised, Omkara came back with the kids' luggage bags.

Then they all got ready for their outing. They got inside Omkara's car, Omkara and Gauri in the front and the kids at the back.

Om: Where do you wish to go..?(turning around to view the kids)

Ay : I want to watch a movie..

Na: I want to go and play in a park..

Om: Ok first we can go for the movie..Then have lunch from a nice restaurant and then we shall all go to the park..Is that ok with you two..?

Na & Ay: Yaaayyy..Yippieee..!!

They all reached a mall and headed for the multiplex theatre in there. Omkara took the tickets and they all got inside the theatre.

Omkara asked Gauri to move two seats away from him and she sat there. Ayaan sat near her and then next seat was occupied by Navya. Omkara sat beside Navya. Now the kids were in the middle, separating Gauri and Omkara.

The first half of the film was over and it was the time for intermission. The kids told Omkara that they needed to use the wash room. Omkara took Ayaan to the Gents' and Gauri took Navya to the Ladies'.

When they came back into the theatre, Ayaan occupied Gauri's seat and Navya sat in Ayaan's seat. Now Gauri and Omkara were left with no choice but to sit with each other. The kids had pre-planned all this and they congratulated each other secretly.

Omkara felt her arm brushing his and he felt a little odd. He moved his arm away from hers. A captivating smell was emanating from her side. He slanted his head a little more in her direction, not too near enough to let her know.

He enjoyed the fragrance and thought what it was.."These ladies use too much items", he thought . "may be some deo or body lotion or sunscreen or shampoo or conditioner ..", (he recalled the ladies related products shown in the television ads).

She shifted slightly in her seat and he hastily sat straight, afraid that she had noticed his behavior.

After some time, the film came to an end. They all got up and just then Gauri's purse fell down. Omkara noticed it and both of them bent down to retrieve it. Their foreheads hit with each other..

Om: Ouch..!!

Ga: Aah..!!

Omkara took the purse, and both of them got up rubbing their foreheads.

Om: Are you alright..?

Ga: I am ok..

Om: Here, take it (hands her the purse)

Ga: Thank you..

They all walked out of the theatre and headed towards a restaurant. They all had their lunch and the kids enjoyed it immensely. Gauri just loved taking care of the kids all the while.

Omkara couldn't help being impressed by the way she managed both of them.

On the other hand, Gauri was doing all this to make him realize the importance of a mother for his kids.

She wanted him to feel that his family was incomplete without his real wife, whom he had let go so easily because of silly dramatic family reasons.

Late in the afternoon, Omkara drove towards a Kids' Park. Ayaan and Navya enjoyed playing in the swings, see-saws and all sorts of play slides. Gauri and Omkara monitored both of them taking turns with each kid. Soon the kids got exhausted and Omkara took them all back to Gauri's home.

Gauri prepared dinner for all of them. All of them had their dinner together. Omkara enjoyed the food immensely. But he didn't appreciate her openly.

The kids ate well and they kept asking for more. They just seemed to love everything prepared by their beloved Mumma. Gauri enthusiastically served both of them and she was enjoying every bit of this drama.

She wanted to show Omkara that having his wife back would mean all this small small joys.

The kids began to feel sleepy. Gauri took them to the bedroom and there they fell asleep happily. After that she came out of the room to look for Omkara and realized that he had already left.

Omkara was lying on his bed on that night..He was thinking about Gauri..

"She is not a bad person after all.. I have been a bit rude to her..I will say sorry to her tomorrow.."

Then slowly he fell asleep.

Meanwhile Gauri was lying with the kids.. She was thinking about Omkara.

"He is really a good Father..He takes care of these kids well. But..Their mother..Where is she now..? Doesn't Omkara miss her..But these kids miss her very much..They are really young and they need their mother's love and warmth in their lives.."

Then slowly she also drifted to sleep.

Next day morning, before going to office, Omkara reached Gauri's villa. The kids were still asleep. He didn't see Gauri anywhere around and so he decided to check inside the kitchen. There she was, busy preparing breakfast.

Om: Gauri..

Gauri turned around and saw him..She smiled at him..

Ga: Hello Omkara..Good morning..

Om:(smiling slightly) Good morning Gauri..I have come to tell you that I will not be coming for two days.. An emergency has come at another one office, which is a little bit away from the city. I will be returning late at night, and I will have to leave early morning too..So I am staying at my villa itself..Let the kids stay here with you. I will come back here on Wednesday night.

Ga: (kindly)It's ok Omkara, I will tell them when they wake up..That their Papa will be working away from here for two days..

Om: (smiles) I am really sorry for my rude behavior for the past two days. Please forgive me..

Ga: (smiles) it's alright Omkara, I can understand..Don't say sorry..

Om: (smiles) Ok..Bye..

Ga: (smiles)Bye..
