"That was just... really embarrassing."

Frisk spoke in a low voice, she would never have thought, at any point that she'd be so bold. Her eyes downcast, her emotions were so strong and powerful.

She could smell the dust of old books and his magic coming off him, as they closed their distance, the stronger it gets.

The way she looked at him, was sending shivers throughout her body. But she knew, he wanted her off him.

"let's see, shall we. i've either completely lost all my faculties and am currently in the grip of a rather devious, albeit delightful, hallucination. or this is, in fact, reality and we've both lost our minds."

"this, cannot happen."

"Why not?"

"i believe we both know nothing can happen between the two of us. we should go back to the bar since Papyrus gonna cook something for us and both forget any of this ever happened."

Sans tried to stop her.

"No one has to know,"

"Just this once Sans, and then we can both walk away from here and act like nothing happened."

Frisk was reckless, she thought.

"I didn't ask to be a Savior."

"Someday I'll be expected to marry someone. I know Chara will let me choose who I like, maybe even someone I care for, but I can't choose whoever I like. I can't marry you for instance, even if I wanted to."

"I'm not saying I want us to be married"

"I'm just asking, can't I choose this for myself?"

Frisk let out a heavy sigh.

"i understand what you're saying. truly, i do, but i cannot compromise you."

"Who says you can't?"

"i say i can't."

She covered her face with her arms.

"i care about you too much to dishonor you this way."

She was sitting alone at Grillby's, trying to compose herself.

"Stupid."

Even though it was only a few seconds, her veins were filled with magic, and it seeped directly into her soul. It was familiar, but she'd never imagined he'd be able to make it happen again and again.

"Oh, something bothering you, my dear?" Muffet appeared, tapping her fingers on the countertop. Frisk was a bit startled.

"Back there at his room..." She muttered loud enough for the spider monster to hear, but low enough so nobody else could here.  "I didn't really intended to do that to him."

"It's alright, my dear." The spider monster caress Frisk's head.

"I guess it was the tea I brewed, I must've switched yours with mine." Muffet said, with her mischievous smile.

"That tea has much sweeter brew with couple drops of Rose Elixir, it helps for my headaches very well." She watched as the human winced and tried to hide her face from embarrassment.

"I'm sorry, my dear. That would have a different reaction with humans."

"It's alright. I suppose it could've gotten worst if... he didn't bother to stop me." Frisk said with a low sigh. Grillby and Papyrus decided to join them, holding some few glass bottles and a small pot.

"MUFFET! HUMAN! WOULD YOU LIKE TO JOIN US? I NEED SOME LITTLE HELP TO BREW SOME POTIONS. I'D LIKE TO BRING SOME AT THE CASTLE BY TOMORROW." Papyrus said with his beaming smile.

"Frisk, if you're not feeling well, you could go to your chambers and rest?" Grillby asked.

Frisk cast a slow sidelong glance, revealing a blurred image from the corner of her eye. She hadn't been paying attention for a while because she was waiting for the skeleton's response.

"I'll just join you guys, I don't have anything to do anyways."

Frisk only has to wait until Sans can help her find Chara and Asriel. Kris might have started looking for her as well, she worried. She's been gone for quite some time.

"Just go." Asriel said as he released Kris from him, been wrapped around his paws to Kris' waist. The human wasn't that heavy, but his armor sure does.

"Why are you letting her, you know what she's capable of" Kris replied  said, trying to compose himself.

"Dark, I think she may have an ordeal back then with him." Asriel averted his gaze away.

"Then, what was all that about. Chara passing her vision to you, I saw it back there. You should know that you'll be affected as well."

"I can't seem to remember most of them... other than for one thing-" Asriel holding out his heart locket, "I couldn't care less but... she's the only one that I have purpose to even be alive."

Kris sighed with the prince's response.  "I'll be going, I appreciate for not turning me into a block of ice, your Majesty."

"Haven't I told you, no more formalities."

"Take care of her..." Kris finally had left.

The moment the steps sounded far enough, the prince sighed pitifully.

"You imbecile! What do you think you are, disrupting me with an intruder?" he demanded.

"Let's get over with this, give me your soul." Chara replied. She can just stab him at once with her blades, but she can't underestimate how can another human be living Underground.

"This is more than just disrupting you with my friend, newt. I'm here with Lord Dark's orders. Surely you want to live than these daggers."

Prince scoffed. "Lord Dark? I do not care if you have orders from illegitimate royals."

Upon the ground with pristine white snow beneath their feet, Prince's vines grew with such proud and strength, reaching for the light, ready to make his sweet attack.

He holds out his bag of seeds, "I don't waste my time with Lord Dark's puny followers. I've heard that monsters are decreasing numbers, faster than it was before."

"Then, let's be quick about it." Chara replied.

Prince looked up in enough time to see a swirl of dark magic surrounding Chara, her eyes where deep red as blood, as she put out her daggers together as a long double-blade sickle.

Chara shook Prince as she vanished at the speed of light, her blade cutting through the vines that surrounded him. Despite the fact that it was difficult to see due to the darkness she had created, Prince was able to block her moves.

When his vines couldn't keep up with Chara's movements, Prince reached into his seed bag and pulled one out. He summoned larger vines with a wave of his right hand as he pointed at Chara, and with luck, Prince got her.

As Chara tried to move her arms or legs, she groaned in pain seeing as his vines were so tight around her. She frowned, concentrating on regaining control of her slipping blades. Perhaps if she can use her magic to decay the vines, a spell might work—

When she felt a zap attack her directly, she yelled out in surprise and even let a tear of blood from her eyes streak down her cheek. "Heh," she said as she shook her head. "E-electric shocks... very clever, plant."

"I must say, you're quite fast still my vines are able to stop them."

Chara squirmed slightly, uneasy with the strawberry hybrid's proximity. Prince was attempting to break her down, and she was well aware of it.

"I heard you have a sister with you, and I'll make sure you never see her again," Prince said, his fingers wrapping around her short auburn hair. He continued to trace his fingers lightly over the girl's cheeks down to her chin, making her even more stunned.

"You're a terrible sister, too. What kind of sister allows herself to be captured like this? Trying to kill all monsters with illegitimate royals for what purpose? Peace? Power? You kill and betray instead of living outside the Surface with your only family..." He smirked as Chara frowned, dismay written all over her features.

Chara suppressed her rage. She knew exactly what Prince desired: her reaction. She refused to give him the satisfaction of knowing how deeply that last remark had cut. She never wanted to kill all monsters, but she doesn't care because it was for a good reason, not just for herself but also for her sister, Frisk. No one could understand, she thought to herself.

As Prince's smirk faded and he unlatched his fingers from her chin, she remained motionless and stationary. He appeared dissatisfied. He'd clearly expected a response, and he wasn't getting it.

Prince drew his arms together.

"Nothing to say? You certainly have willpower, Chara."

"So what now? You have me, what are you gonna do, just stare at me" Chara asked, struggling against the vines. Right now, she felt a bit more ease that she could move her arms and legs.

Prince turned around slowly, a sinister smile on his lips. "I'm about to summon Undyne, as I already have captured you. All those skills, that magic... And you're there unable to move.""

"Is that so?"  Chara chuckled, her feet trying to reach for her dagger.

"It was bit of a disappointment thought I'll have more fun, to "dance" with you—"

Chara was able to have her daggers, cutting them off to free herself as she summoned her powers, the magic propelled by her gem rushing through her body. As Prince turned to face her, she knocked him down, all his vines were completely decayed that had bound him. He couldn't move, no matter how hard he tried. His powers had also been subdued in some way, and he was defenseless against her attacks. He closed his eyes once, almost immediately making the connection, and slowly opened his eyes, seeing the woman in front of him with an intense expression.

Chara's hands sliced through the air as she used her magic to carve lacerations all over the strawberry  hybrid's face, neck, arms, legs, and anything else she could see. She even punched him once, a dark puprle bruise forming around his right eye. To her amusement, his screams of pain were cut off by the blood beginning to trickle from his mouth.

"Prince!" Undyne yelled, her voice echoing as she saw them from a mile away. Prince was badly injured.

Chara approached him, her bloodthirsty red eyes roving over his scarred skin. "What brought us here? I thought you wanted to "dance" with me, hmm?"

She joined her daggers and magically formed a ruby sword for herself. She scraped the sliver of bone protruding through his left arm with the sharp end of her sword, causing him to flinch and gasp in pain. "You know what's interesting about that? Even if you're healed, the damage is done... You'll never be whole again."

She latched her sword to his skin, tearing at a thin layer before digging deeper to where blood pooled and spilled over from his arm. She finally put her sword away as he cried out, her abuse against his tender flesh causing him to bleed and cry out in anguish even more.

"Stop!" Undyne yelled from among them. She couldn't tell who was attacking Prince or whether it was a monster. "Whoever you are, you've gone too far!"

"Don't worry, I wasn't ordered to kill a talking plant," Chara cackled wickedly as the monster fish's green squared eyes illuminated alongside her gem, a bow, and an arrow summoned. In an attempt to stop her, she pointed her arrow at Chara.

"Ack—" Chara yelled as Undyne's arrow pierced her left shoulder, piercing the golden spaulders as well. The poison in the arrow was now sipping inside Chara's flesh.

She looked back to Prince, "The kiss of death will come at you soon" she whispered.

"Chara!" Asriel walks up to her, his paws behind her. He had returned just in time, she thought. "What happened to your shoulder?"

"No time for that, let's get out of here." Chara demanded.

Asriel, who was trying to hold Chara delicately, summoned a magical portal and immediately left.

Undyne approached Prince, saying, "You're almost dead, what do you think you're doing!"

"Y-You don't have to yell at me... as if I-I... did something wrong," Prince grumbled.

"I told you to patrol, not fight. Look at you, what will your sister think?"

"I'm f-fine, now that you're h-here... just don't preach to me about it for the time being." Prince gasped, taking in a gulp of air, as he managed,

"Let's get you to the lab then, Alphys will heal you," Undyne sighed.
