Obsessed Huggy x Crush Reader

(Y/N) Your Name. (L/N) Last Name.

It's the year 1995. You're a nineteen year old girl named (Y/N) (L/N). You and your gothic friend Victoria Schwartz are on your way to a circus. Tonight, they were gonna be showing something in the big tent and it was a major deal. A guy friend of yours you went to school with Danny Eisenberg told you about some living blue monster being there tonight at 7pm.

Right now, you and Victoria are walking down the sidewalk. She's smoking a cigarette and she says, "You know everyone's raving about this blue monster thing?" You say, "Yeah. There should be a sign about it. The name of the creature. It's foretold that the thing is highly dangerous and deadly if any one of us were to get near it."

She says, "Sounds like you figured it out. That's what I've heard, too. Like they found him in a toy factory." You say, "Wait. Toy factory?" She says, "Yeah. What's up?" You say, "I'm gonna be shocked if it's Playtime Co. Huggy Wuggy was my favorite character."

Victoria says, "Wait... You mean to tell me Huggy Wuggy might be the sideshow that's gonna be shown later on?" You say, "I think so. I get the feeling it's gonna be him, Vic." She says, "Well damn. Maybe they had a different version of him that's actually living and breathing and all of that shit."

She puffs her cigarette and she blows smoke. She says, "You need a boyfriend." You say, "I don't really have time for that." She says, "Yeah. I guess you're right. Who am I to talk? Hardly anyone wants a gothic chick. They'll more likely go for you, (Y/N)." You say, "Awe, Vic. Don't say that. You'll find someone."

You guys make it to the entrance of the circus and Victoria finishes her cigarette. She puts it out in the tall ashtray nearby and you guys pay as you enter. You walk in and you look around. You say, "Interesting. First time I've been to a circus." Victoria says, "Too bad they stopped the whole sideshow thing in the 60s."

You say, "That's because they were real human beings, Vic. Some people are just born that way. It can't be helped." She says, "Yeah. That's true. Others in school thought I was a sideshow for being a goth." You say, "Screw what they think, Vic." She smiles and says, "This is why you're awesome."

You walk around and you look around. You say, "I'm getting kind of hungry." Victoria says, "Yeah. Me too. Want a corndog?" You say, "Yeah." You get to a concession stand and you both pay for corndogs. You get those and you eat them as you walk around. You have lemonade to drink.

You say, "Let's get to the big tent and see what the main attraction's gonna be. I swear it's Huggy Wuggy from the Playtime Co factory." You get to the big tent and you see the sign about the main attraction they're displaying. Turns out you're thoughts were correct. They are in fact showing Huggy Wuggy from the Poppy Playtime franchise.

You say, "My god. It is Huggy Wuggy." Victoria says, "Well shit. It sure is. How about that?" You hear this, "Ladies and gentlemen! Be ready for tonight's show here at our circus! The main attraction will surely scare the pants off of you! Our main attraction, Huggy Wuggy! He's big! He's bad! He's... alive!..." And so on.

You look over to see that it's the ringmaster by the big tent. You walk over and you say, "So, this is where Huggy Wuggy's gonna be, huh?" The ringmaster smiles at you and Victoria and says, "That's right, ladies. Stick around and come see him tonight at 7pm. But beware. Stay upon the seats for this one. It's foretold he's deadly if tampered with too much. This thing had murdered a massive amount of employees that worked at Playtime Co."

Victoria says, "Holy shit. Really?" He says, "Yeah. Be lucky you two don't work there. Do you?" You say, "No, but my cousin Molly does." He says, "If she shows up, have her hide herself a bit in the crowd. Got it? It'll be to avoid Huggy getting to her if he's set loose. He turns deadly if he sees an employee or a former employee of Playtime Co." You say, "Yeah. I got it."

He says, "Go ahead and walk around the circus a little more. Take a look at things." Victoria says, "Yeah. We'll do that. Thanks Mr..." He says, "I'm George Timid. The ringmaster." You say, "Well, George. It was nice to meet you." After that talk, you and Victoria go around the circus until the big show opens and the main attraction is shown.

(Time skip.)

Later on at 7pm, you and Victoria make it to the big tent after buying some soda and popcorn. You get inside with everyone else and you sit in the front row seat of the tent. You're all looking down at the ring.

The ringmaster George Timid comes out and he says, "Ladies and gentlemen! Good evening and welcome to the Circus of Tallahassee!" There's applauding. George says, "You'll see that seeing is believing for tonight's main attraction all the way from Playtime Co! That's right... Huggy Wuggy will be shown tonight, here at our circus!" There's cheering in the audience.

He says, "But before we get to what we all want to see... let's bring out our lions. Our tigers. Our bears... Oh my." There's laughing from the Wizard of Oz reference. He says, "There are elephants, too. And our acrobats. Enjoy the show." He steps aside and you all watch as acrobatic humans perform with animals. A lion jumps through a ring and you all applaud.

After all of that, the ringmaster comes out and says, "Alright. Ladies and gentlemen! The moment you've all been waiting for!" Two burlesque women bring out a giant thing that's covered with a long tarp. They're grabbing it by handles. Everyone's anticipating the moment the main attraction is shown.

George says, "Alright ladies. Pull the tarp off. Let's show everyone what they want to see! Here he is! Feast your eyes upon... Huggy Wuggy!" The burlesque women pull the tarp off and you all gasp as you see him. There he is. Huggy Wuggy. He's in a giant caged wagon and he's chained by his wrists and ankles.

A kid in the audience says, "Dude! Holy crap! Look at that thing!" His older brother who has long hair, a Metallica shirt on, etc says, "Yeah. I know, little bro. Creepy." Everyone's in awe as they see Huggy Wuggy. Huggy himself looks out from the bars of the wagon.

Huggy seems calm right now and the ladies unlock the cage door. Everyone gasps. George says, "Don't worry, everyone. The ladies have him." They open the door and they let Huggy step out. He looks around at the audience. All is good at first until...

Smack! He feels a tomato hit him on the face and he gasps. A girl up in the seats did it. She smirks and says, "Have a tomato, freak!" She and her friend laugh. Everyone else laughs except for you and Victoria. You gasp and you put your hand over your mouth.

Huggy has the sad expression. But then more tomatoes and other things get thrown at him. A guy yells, "Take this, you monster!" He throws his bag of popcorn. Huggy flinches away and you feel bad. Victoria says, "Damn. That's a bit harsh, isn't it?"

George says, "Now now! That's enough, everyone! I..." One guy up there yells, "Hey you! Ringmaster! Kiss my ass!" George sighs and shakes his head saying, "Such a corrupt world. More so than Huggy himself."

Huggy can hear this, "Monster!" "Freak!" "Go back to the factory where you belong, blue boy!" "Ugly freak!" "Demon sent from hell!" "Monster!" "Freak!" "Monster!!" You feel as though you see the hurt on Huggy as this goes on.

But suddenly, Huggy can't take it. His teeth get bared and they're sharp. He growls and he opens his eyes. His pupils look more dilated. He suddenly lets out a loud ear piercing screech and he breaks from the chains, holding his wrists.

Everyone screams and gets up. They start running out of there, screaming. A woman picks up her son and yells, "Come on, Bobby! Let's go!" She runs out of there. You just stand up as you look at Huggy Wuggy. The burlesque women have already run out of there. George yells, "Don't panic everyone! I'm sure he won't hurt anyone!"

A male acrobat gets picked up by Huggy and Huggy screeches. He throws him at least forty feet ahead. George says, "O-okay. I stand corrected." He runs out of there. Victoria grabs your hand and says, "Come on. We gotta go." You both run out of there. You look back at Huggy before you head out of the tent.

You see cops and the FBI come in and they have a tranquilizer gun with them. You can hear this from them, "Stop right there, Huggy!" "Freeze!" You hear screeching from Huggy and you hear an FBI agent saying, "Franklin. Bring him down." You hear a slight screech from Huggy and the sound of falling.

You see the FBI come out with a now knocked out Huggy Wuggy. George walks over and says, "Thank you for getting here." An agent says, "Want us to lock him back in his wagon?" George says, "For the time being. Yes. We still need him... The audience expects him or the circus loses money." The agent says, "Understood." They take him back to his wagon.

You sigh and you say, "Vic. I'm staying behind. Huggy won't be out for long on the sedatives." Victoria says, "Wait. Are you saying... you're going to meet him?" You say, "Yes. He needs to know not everyone was laughing at him. And Huggy was my favorite toy as a child. I can't see him suffer like he did just moments ago." Victoria says, "I'll stick around." You say, "Thanks, Vic. Come on." You and Victoria walk the direction they took Huggy Wuggy.

(Time skip.)

You wait a few hours after the FBI and the cops leave the circus. George had gone home, too. It's just you and Victoria at the circus now and you're over by the wagons. A lion looks out at you. You look over and you say, "It's okay, buddy. I mean no harm." The lion makes a little growling sound, but lays down and sleeps. Victoria says, "Look at you, Miss animal tamer."

You walk to a wagon bigger than the rest and you see him. Huggy Wuggy is sitting in there. He's in chains. Victoria says, "There he is." You sigh and you put your hand over your heart. Victoria says, "Be careful." You say, "I'll be okay." Victoria stands there and waits as you approach Huggy's wagon.

Huggy is sitting there. He looks tired and pretty sad after the whole incident in the big tent. He suddenly hears this, "Huggy?" He gasps and he sits up. He looks over to see a woman. You. He's about to screech and you say, "Shh shh. Huggy, it's okay." He stops himself and looks at you.

You walk closer and you say, "I won't hurt you, Huggy. I promise." He grips the bars and he looks down at you. You look up at him and you say, "Huggy. I saw how awful the audience was to you and it made me sad to see you deal with that."

He listens and makes a somewhat soft growl. You say, "I understand your pain, Huggy. I know the world is a dark cruel place. And if anything... they're the monsters. Not you." He suddenly speaks and he says this, "I'm... not a monster?"

You say, "No. Of course not. I saw the good in you before the others pushed you to get mad. I'm so sorry, Huggy. I wish I could do something to help." You look around. Huggy looks at you, waiting for what you're going to say.

You look at him and you say, "Huggy... I could get you out of here. Would you like that?" He manages a smile and he says, "Y-yes... Yes. M-my... my friend. G-get... me out of here. Huggy Wuggy needs a friend to hug." You say, "Just stay put and I'll find the key." He sighs and smiles at you. You step away and you walk to Victoria.

She says, "Nice move." You say, "Come with me, Vic. I'm busting him out of here." She says, "Yeah. I heard you say that. Luckily for you, I happen to know where all the keys to the wagons are located. We can find Huggy's." You smile and you both walk off. Huggy waits.

It takes about five minutes, but Huggy hears this, "Huggy. I'm back." He looks over to see you. He crawls over and he grips the bars. You smile and you get out a key. He gasps and he smiles. You say, "I'll take you home with me." He grins and he lets out a sort of innocent giggle.

You put the key in the hole and you twist it. You hear the sound of the door being loosened and unlocked and you grip the handle. You slide the door open and Huggy steps out. He ducks on his way out, seeing that he's at least twelve feet tall.

You say, "Ready?" He grins and nods. You say, "Okay. Let's go. I'll take care of you when we get to my house, okay?" He picks you up and he says, "Friend." You say, "Alright. Let's go, Huggy." Huggy walks over to Victoria.

You say, "She's my friend." He leans down to pick her up, too. She says, "This is very unusual." You say, "Worth it. I helped him." Huggy leaves the circus without being seen. He looks over at you and he sighs and smiles. He seems to be admiring you quite a bit, already.
