Poppy's POV:

I woke up in my bed and felt something tight grasping on my finger. I looked down to see a ring. The ring that Branch had probably put on after the attack went down at the wedding. The wedding! Oh Troll face butter-nut-squash muffins! I completely forgot!

The door slid open and Branch's soft and smiling face came to greet me. He kissed my head and said,

       "I don't know what happened back there. Creek just had a fit of jealous rage. He's apologized, and I wasn't sure if you wanted me to forgive him or not so I just walked away. I might've hurt his feelings, but it doesn't matter. Because he hurt you way worse."

      "Branch, I'm fine. It was just a punch. Nothing more. Really, the ending doesn't have to be so cruel. You should've said it was okay." I told him. "I'm not letting one of my fellow Trolls feel bad."

      "You mean our Trolls," Branch said with a light smirk and taunting eyes.

        "How? We weren't officially married." I said sincerely, it's not that I didn't want to marry him, it's just I don't remember kissing and rings being delivered!

        "I kissed you in your sleep." Branch said laughing and I laughed along. But then my face turned serious. If he was King now, there'd be a lot we'd have to go through.

      "Hey, what's wrong Poppy? You look so sad yet you're always positive! What's bothering you?" Branch asked kindly.

     "We're husband and wife now, Branch." I whispered to him. "Everything's going to be different. Being King or Queen is a lot of responsibility. It's hard, Branch. I almost reframed and I'm afraid you might, too."

     "You're still Queen?"

      "Yes, Branch. But..."

       "Then I'm still King. Whatever you do, I'm sticking with you. You're my wife."

I let out a small chuckled and a smile and Branch climbed in the bed with me.

     "Hope you're feeling better, babe." He said and kissed my head as the light turned off and there was silence between us.

Babe. It's serious. Official. We really are married. I guess it's time to start marriage off with a Big Bang, if you know what I mean!
