Chapter 3

"What!?" Hue yelled. "What happened!?"

"What do you mean he went too far?" Huey questioned, worried that the alternate version of his brother had severly hurt himself.

"Just shut-up and follow me, quick." Lou rushed out of the room, followed by Hue and Huey. He led them to the bathroom where Dew had walked into earlier.

"Oh my god!" Hue covered his beak in shock, Huey doing the same. He looked into the mirror and saw his Dewey in the same situation. Arms covered with blood, a small puddle forming around the wrists as both Dewey's lay there unconscious.

"What do we do? What can a do?" Huey asked, freaking out. Lou shook his head.

"We can't do anything.....just hope that he lives." The alternate green triplet stated. "If we help him, then it'll throw the balance of the universe off." Hue ruffled his hair.

"I knew you paid attention during my lessons." He praised.

"Now's not the time, I'm sorry, but we have to save them, and I have to break a few rules in the process." Huey explained. His alternate self stared at him.

"What are you planning?" He asked.

"Lou, where is my Louie. What room is he in?" The red triplet asked.

"He's not in a room with mirrors, so I can't see him." Lou answered.

"Check again!" Huey ordered. Lou nodded and went to go look for his alternate self.

"Huey, what are you doing?" Hue asked.

"If I can't help Dewey in my dimension, then you can't help yours. Louie's our only hope. Please understand."

"Are you crazy!? You can't talk to your Louie, he'll go crazy. Your plan will kill us all!"

"It's worth a shot! We can't just leave them like this! Look at them, they're covered in blood and cuts! What else can we do!?" Huey continued yelling at his alternate self.

"This is insane! Louie would never even listen to you, he doesn't listen to you in person! How would a reflection of a brother he thinks is dead not drive him crazy!?"

"Oh my god." Huey muttered. "I can't believe I'm fighting with my freaking reflection! I'm fighting with myself! Maybe I'm the one going crazy!"

"Hueys, the other me is in our room again." Lou exclaimed as he ran back to the bathroom. "His back is facing a mirror right, whatever you're planning, we have to do it now." Huey nodded and looked over at Hue.

"I'll handle this properly, I promise." Hue nodded. Huey walked over to their room and stood infront of the mirror. He took a deep breath and knocked on the glass of the mirror quietly. Louie turned around and saw Huey in the mirror. He ignore him at first, think he was hallucinating. Huey knocked on the glass again. Louie turned around fully and faced the mirror.

"Go away......you're not really here, just leave." He said stoically.

"Louie, listen to me.....Dewey's in trouble." Huey warned. Louie scoffed.

"Why should I listen to you? You're probably just my mind playing tricks on me since haven't slept in a few days."

"Louie, one, you need sleep, two you need to go save Dewey. If you don't help him, he'll die." Louie stared at Huey with tired eyes and shrugged.

"I already have one dead brother, what's one more?"

(That line hurt to write)

"How could you say that Llewellyn!? Go save our brother, right, now!" Huey yelled.

"No."

"Louie, please.....I'm not dead, I'm stuck....please just save our brother.....we'll, explain later." Huey stated. Louie sighed.

"Fine, where is he?"

"Bathroom. Bring some towels." Huey suggested. Louie nodded and got a few towels, walking over to the bathroom. There he saw Dewey in the same position as his alternate self. He gasped and quickly tried remembering what Huey would do in a situation like this. He looked in the mirror and not only saw a reflection of Dewey and himself, but he saw two worried looking Hueys. He shook his head and looked behind him.

"What are you staring at? If you're gonna help, hurry up and do it right." The two Hueys said in unison. The action freaked Louie out. He wiped the blood off of Dewey and sat him up against a wall. His heart was racing as he cleaned the wounds on his brother's wrists, later bandaging it. His mind was filled with thoughts and questions.

Was his older brother really still alive?

Where was he?

Was he crazy?

What was going on?

Can he help?

But one thing that Huey had said was stuck in his mind. Huey told him that he was stuck, not dead.

So, how could be get his brother unstuck?

(Yay!! Almost midnight, still Thursday! Deadline reached!)
