The teens looked around frantically as they heard the noises from outside the room.
"What was that!?" The Hueys whispered in unison.
"I don't know!" The Deweys whispered back.
"Sh, shut up you guys!" The Louies continued. The noises from outside the room for closer and louder.
"It's on your side too, right?" Hue questioned.
"Yeah, it is." Dewey whispered.
"What do you think it is?" Louie questioned his brother's reflection. Everyone shrugged, jumping as they heard the door open.
"What's going on in here?" Donald asked, his voice sounding more tired than upset or angry. The Hueys yelped, hiding behind a table so Donald would not see them. Donald's reflection, ((Don)) however, saw them and had the most painful look on his face, but he had to go back to copying Donald.
"He looks so tired." Huey whispered.
"You should see Uncle Scrooge and Webby....they haven't stopped looking for you." Hue whispered back.
"But, it's been over a week...and they're still searching?" The original red triplet asked.
"Of course Huey, they love you so much and they'd do anything to get you back."
"But, they think I'm dead...." Huey claimed.
"Not Scrooge and Webby, they're not giving up on you Huey. You will be back home soon, I promise."
"Dewey, Louie. What are you doing in-" Donald stopped himself and covered his beak. It hurt him so much to even think about his nephew. It was like losing a huge part of himself, and he didn't understand how the younger two of the three were doing so well. Dewey had stopped cutting, now having slowly diminishing hope that his older brother would be back. Louie had started eating again and getting out of his room more often. They were both getting better since they knew that Huey was alive and would be back soon.
"We, just felt like sitting on here for a bit." Louie explained. Donald looked down at the ground and saw the papers with their plans for inventions lying infront of them.
"Oh boys, this isn't going to bring your brother back. He's, gone." He claimed, sighing softly and looking at the door. "Dinner's ready come down when you're ready." With that, Donald walked out of the room, leaving Dewey and Louie 'alone'. They sighed softly and looked behind their reflection, searching for Huey.
"Huey? Hue? You can come out now." Dewey told them, a soft smile on his face. As fast as the Hueys got into hiding, Don came back into the room and hugging both Hueys tightly.
"You're safe, you're safe, you're safe!" He exclaimed. "I can't believe it! Wait, what are you doing here? Why are you talking to the other Louie and Dewey?"
"Um, well, I got here by accident and they're helping us out." Huey explained.
"Helping you get back?" Don asked.
"Yes, exactly that Uncle Donald." Hue claimed. "Now, can you let us go? We're getting squished."
"Right, of course." Don placed the Hueys down on the floor a d smiled. "If you ever need help, I'll help you....one, two, three, six. I'll help you six get this Huey back to his own dimension." Hue jumped up and down, hugging his uncle tightly.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!!" The reflection of Huey said happily and his uncle tightly.
"Just make sure you be careful who you talk to on the other side of the mirror." He warmed.
"We will be Uncle Donald, we promise."
