There was a storm outside and a raid was beginning. Valka was at Gothi's hut at the top of the mountain's highest peak.
There Gothic helped deliver Valka's heir—the son of Thor and Hel—and as predicted he had black hair and was thin as bone.
Valka had barely screamed when the house was struck by lightning, but then again that was when she had given birth.
"His name is Shadow."
Valka walked out of the hut and down the stairs of the peak towards the village. And there she realized the dragons were gone. Valka stumbled trying to find her husband in the rain. And almost fell when Stoik caught her. Valka almost lost grip of Shadow.
But when she was stable she managed to regain her hold of him.
They walk home in silence as the rain beat down heavily and Stoick still didn't ask about their son.
