Hiccup-

So here I am, at night in a forest, recovering from a lightning strike, and my nurse is asleep on my shoulder.

I look down at Astrid and kiss her golden hair. She's so precious when she's asleep. I smile as I close my eyes and go to sleep.

THE NEXT DAY

Astrid-

I wake up, startled to see Toothless here, but Hiccup gone. I jump up, waking Toothless up.

"Hiccup!" I yell as Toothless comes up to me. Toothless pulls me towards the stream, where Hiccup was sitting at the bank trying to catch some fish. I smiled, happy to see him feeling better.

"Well good morning milady." he says, pecking my cheek.

I unwrap the cloth that was around his arm, revealing bright pink flesh. The wound was not infected, but healing.

"Now, just to get back to Berk." I say as I throw some fish to the dragons.

Hiccups eyes light up as I wrapped a new cloth around his arm. He rummaged through my bag, pulling out a large piece of cloth.

"I can't believe I didn't think of this earlier!" he exclaimed.

Hiccup-

About an hour later Toothess had a brand new tail. I even tested it, proving it worked.

"Can we hang out a little longer?" Astrid begged. I nodded. She squealed and sat at the edge of the river. I followed, sitting next to her.

"Astrid, can I do something?" I ask, and she nods. I pull out her braid and brush her long golden hair with my fingers. Then i take the rubber band and pull back the flyaways. Astrid glared at me.

"Oh no you didn't." she said, with a playful laugh.

"Oh yes I did." I respond with a grin.

Astrid immediately shoves me into the water, falling in right after.

I submerged gasping for air, then BAM!

I turn to a fish slapping my face and Astrid giggling.

Astrid-

Oh gods. I think I just slapped Hiccup in the face with a fish.

Its a battle against my instincts to laugh until I die. But I couldn't hold it in anymore. I burst out laughing. Hiccup walks towards me.

"C'mere you." he says, giving me a passionate kiss. I smile as we separate.

"I love you Hiccup Horrendous Haddock."

"And I love you too, Astrid Fearless Hofferson.
