Lost (inspired by my best friend (I'll call her skittles)When Hiccup and Astrid are out on a flight and separated in a storm how will they find each other? Will they get hurt? Will they get back to Berk safely? Hope you enjoy!

Astrid-

Hiccup asked me to take a moonlit flight, as we do almost every week, and we flew over the open oceans that surround Berk. The Northern Lights were out tonight, and we always fly when their out because it reminds us of the first flight we had together, when Hiccup changed my mind about dragons, and changed my heart to slowly get feelings for him.

We were flying until a strike of lightning lit up the entire night sky.

We dodge every strike, each coming from a different direction.

"Hiccup, i think we need to head back, this is getting pretty brutal!" I yell to Hiccup. I wait for an answer but after about 5 minutes I still havent heard a response. I turned only to see the stormy sky.

"Hiccup? Hiccup!!" I yell as I turn back. He's nowhere to be seen. I dive down to the ocean level and see an island not far away.

"Stormfly, that away, maybe he crashed there." I said as I led her that direction.

Hiccup-

I woke only to remember the terrible event that had just happened. When Astrid dodged that strike of lightning i didnt really see it.

I remember the jolt. The pain. The burn that it gave me. I looked at the red flesh that used to be a healthy pink patch of skin. Now the skin was gone.

I looked up hoping to see Astrid coming for me. I waited and waited but she still didn't come. I eventually hear her sweet voice yelling my name from above. I tried to yell but all that came out was a small squeal because of the pain in my dry throat. I watched Astrid land on the OTHER side of the island.

I mount Toothless, and try to take off, suddenly realizing that Toothless's tail was fried in the lightning, along with the spares. Since I was in too much pain to yell I signaled Toothless to do a distress call. I guess I'll just have to wait until Astrid finds me.

Astrid-

I'm freaking out. We finally landed and no sign of Hiccup or Toothless. I get some fresh stream water and put it into my leather water can and look around. As I walk back to Stormfly i suddenly see a plasma blast, and its a specific one.

Distress call.

I jump on Stormfly and rush over to where the call came from. Hiccup was laying down on Toothless, his auburn hair singed black and a bad burn on his arm. Toothless only had metal spikes as a tail.

"Sup, hows your day going?" Hiccup croaks with a smirk.

I ran up to him and gently hugged him, trying to avoid his burn.

"Oh, your such a dork!" I say as I stare into his emerald green eyes.

"Awww. But I'm YOUR dork." he whines.

"I guess." I say with a giggle as I give Hiccup a light kiss.

I give him my water pouch and grab one of the many cloths in my bag. I start a fire, thanks to Stormfly, to sterilize the water. Then i soaked the cloth.

"Hiccup, this is the best I could do, and its gonna sting a little." I warn him as I gently put the cloth on his burn. Hiccup winces and gets tense, but eventually relaxes. I lay against Hicup on the other side of Toothless, and fall asleep.
