I was thinking of this when I was watching blindsided what would happen if it was hiccup and not Astrid

Hiccup was at the clubhouse "fish did you lock the stables" said hiccup he was on a short fuse and ready to blow "well yes I mean who would make a mistake like that but there's always one time" said fishlegs doubting himself hiccup slammed his fist on the table and left

He ran in seeing a bolt of lightning strike the stables a dragon was trapped he saved the dragon but a bolt of lightning struck in front of him sending him flying back hitting a wall, when hiccup opened his eyes he saw nothing but blackness he stood up and started outing his hands out "guys! where are you why is it so dark!" Shouted hiccup "no hiccup it's not black" said Astrid everyone shared worrying glances

"Guys I can't see anything" said hiccup he touched Astrids arm "Astrid is that you" he said as he dragged his hand around her arm she blushed and the twins snickered she took his hand "yes hiccup it's me" said Astrid hiccup walked and tripped Astrid fell on him "...." that was there face

She laid him down on a pillow as toothless wraps around them "Astrid please stay with me" said hiccup it truly broke Astrid heart to see him so vulnerable so alone so frightened he was always on the move always making people smile he was always so brave but that tiny plea has reminded her he's human to not some cyborg

In the morning the triple strike returned and hiccup was sick of being pouches to the side godhelp them he grabbed storm-flies spines and made clicking noises with them they trained the triple strike

He got his sight back and both of them kissed..
