Astrid was walking around the village in her maroon dress with beautiful gold embroidery. Astrid has a hand in her seven and a half months pregnant stomach. She could be due any day so she walked slowly and carefully with a smile on her face as she waved to fellow Villagers.

She made her way to a grassy paddock near the Great Hall and looked out into the bright blue sky.

She heard something land behind her and feet hit the ground. She figured it was some villager landing from a morning, more like noon, flight. However, she was wrong when an all too familiar voice called out to her.

"Do you know an Astrid Hofferson by any chance?" Heather, Chieftess of  Berserker Island, asked. Astrid smiled and turned around to face her old friend.

"That would be me but I prefer Haddock over Hofferson." Astrid replies and Heather smiled and hugged her. Heather pulled away.

"I missed you so I decided to pay a visit." Her eyes traveled to her round stomach and she smiled. "Married and pregnant huh? How far long?"

"Seven and a half months. I'm due any day now." Astrid rubbed the spot where her baby had kicked just seconds ago. "Let's walked around. Hiccup hasn't let me leave the house for two weeks."

Heather laughed, "seriously?"

"Yup." Astrid popped the 'p'. "So how's being Chieftess treating you?"

"You know," heather shrugged. "Stressful and can be boring."

"Yeah, I-" She gasped as she felt a sharp and major pain in her abdomen. It went away but continued a minute later and repeated the cycle. She had started to feel these pains last night but they weren't this close together. Astrid fell to the ground as another one passed through her stomach.

"Oh my gods! Astrid, What should I do?" Heather asked as Valka, Who luckily was just walking by at the time, helped Astrid stand up.

"Go Get Hiccup. He's in the Great Hall." Astrid said weakly, holding her stomach. Heather nodded and ran towards the Hall.

Valka helped Astrid to Gothi's and helped her change into a a long sleeved, blue, short, cloth gown and was laid down on a bed. She leaned against the pillowed headboard and breathed in deeply and spread her legs apart.

"This baby is coming, Dear." Valka said. "Okay, on your next contraction I need you to push as hard as you can." Astrid nodded and did what she was told.

Astrid screamed and pushed with all her might right when Hiccup ran in and sat next to the bed on a chair.

"Hiccup, I hate you!" She screamed as she pushed again. "I hate you!"

"Okay, M'lady." He kissed her forehead and Astrid's mood changed.

"I'm scared." Astrid whimpered and pushed again. "Arghhh!"

"Just hold my hand and you'll be fine." He said soothingly. Astrid grabbed his hand and squeezed tightly when she pushed and screamed.

After five more pushes the room was filled with cries of a baby. Astrid sighed and rested her head back.

"It's a girl!" Valka exclaimed while Gothi cleaned the small baby up and dressed her in a purple cloth onesie then put her in Astrid's arms.

"She's so small." Astrid stroked her cheek softly with her index finger. Most baby's are two feet but she had to only be about an inch over one foot.

"She is almost two months early." Valka said, wiping her hands with a towel.

"She's ours.." Hiccup whispered as a tear rolled down his cheek when he picked up his newborn daughter and rested her against his chest. "She's beautiful." Their baby had auburn hair but a little more red and she opened her eyes and they were ocean blue.

"That She is son." Valka said. She opened the door and The Gang plus Heather walked in.

"Congratulations guys!" Fishlegs exclaimed and gazed at the baby who was soundly sleeping again and clutching Hiccup's shirt in her small fist. "She's adorable!"

"Thanks." Astrid said, stroking her daughters foot and seeing her toes curl. Astrid kissed her daughters head and Hiccup's heart swarmed with overwhelming love.

"What's her name?" Snotlout asked. Hiccup and Astrid shared a knowing look before they said,

"Zephyr Valka Haddock."
