Sorry, I would have wrote and posted this sooner but yesterday I went to McDonalds with six of my friends then we went to Breakthrough at the movie theater and didn't get back until 9:30 and I had school so needed to get to bed. So yeah, sorry again.

Hiccup and Camicazi walked to the Great Hall for dinner. They entered the large building and sat down across from each other at an empty table. Hiccup stood. "I'll go get us some food." On the way over to where the food is he saw Astrid sitting at Ruffnut's table with the kids and Fishlegs. He smiled and filled two bowls up with stew that someone had made for all the vikings tonight and sat back down across from Camicazi. He handed her the bowl of yak stew and a wooden stew. 

Camicazi blew on her spoon then took a bite and swallowed. "Wow, this is really good." She continued to eat and Hiccup nodded in agreement. Camicazi glanced at Hiccup and smiled at him. Hiccup raised an eyebrow at her. "What?"

"Oh, nothing." She averted her eyes. "Is it alright if I leave the day after tomorrow?" 

"Of course." Hiccup told her. "Anyway, what's the real reason you're here?" 

"Well, like I said before. I heard your father," She coughed awkwardly. "passed on and that you became Chief. So, I decided to come to New Berk, as you call it, and help you out for a few days." Camicazi said but left out one thing. And maybe I still have a tiniest crush on him. Okay, a huge crush and I haven't forgotten his promise to marry me, She thought. "And I missed you." She blushed. 

Hiccup smiled and nodded. "Missed you too." Even though he just remembered her like, today. Hiccup took another bite of his stew and stood. "Do you want anything to drink?" 

"Just water. Thank you." She said and watched him walked towards the table with cups and drinks. 

Hiccup was pouring some water into a cup when he felt two tiny arm wrap around his legs. He looked down to see auburn hair tied into pigtails and big bright blue eyes shining up at him. He smiled at Zephyr and looked towards his table to see vikings were blocking the view so he picked up his daughter and pressed a kiss to her forehead. "Hey, Zeffie!" 

"Hi, Daddy!" Zephyr giggled and hugged her father around his neck. Hiccup hugged her back and villagers near by smiled warmly at their Chief hugging his daughter. Hiccup felt a hand on his shoulder and he looked up to see Astrid with Nuffink in her arms. He smiled and pecked her lips before setting Zephyr down and picking up Nuffink.

"Hey, Nuffink!" Hiccup said and tickled the little boy's left foot. Nuffink laughed and squirmed in Hiccup's arms. Hiccup stopped and kissed the top of Nuffink's head then turned to Astrid who was holding Zephyr's little hand while picking a berry off a plate and popping it in her mouth. "Ast?" She turned to him.

"Yeah?" She wrapped an arm around his waist and pulled herself against his chest, looking him in the eyes. Hiccup readjusted Nuffink so he wouldn't get squished. 

"My friend from when I was little is here..." He said.

"Camicazi?" She tilted her head to the side. Hiccup nodded.

"Yeah but there's like a problem." He said and his wife's face contorted in confusion. "When she moved away I promised her something but it was a lie because I had feelings for you."

"What was the promise?" She pressed. 

"I said that we'd find each other again and we'd marry." Hiccup said nervously and averted his eyes from Astrid. He heard her chuckle then she placed a hand on his cheek so he was facing her. 

"You were just a kid, Hiccup. It's not like you knew who you'd end up with." She said gently and he looked away again. "I'm not mad, honey. I love you and that little promise isn't going to stop me from doing so." She pressed her lips to his for a quick kiss before pulling away and taking Nuffink into her arms. "I'm going back to the house to put the kids to bed." 

"Love you." He said.

"Love you too." Astrid replied.

Hiccup watched his wife walked out of the Great Hall, holding their son on her hip and holding their daughter's hand. He smiled and carried the two cups of water to the table and set one in front of Camicazi. "Where'd you go?" She scrutinized, taking a sip.

"Just talking to a villager. Sorry." He told her and she waved it off. They sat in silence until Valka sat down next to Hiccup. Hiccup smiled at her and Valka gestured to the woman sitting across from them.

"Oh! Mom, this is Camicazi. She used to be my best friend when we were younger." A flash of hurt made it's way across Camicazi's face but it was gone soon after and was replaced with surprise.

"That's your mother?!" Camicazi exclaimed and Hiccup nodded while chuckling. 

"Yeah." He shook his head still laughing. "That's exactly what Astrid said." 

"Um, okay." She said and her face showed jealousy. Obviously because it seemed that Astrid was closer to Hiccup than Camicazi was. 

"Anyway, Mom, we're going to get Cami's stuff then head home." Hiccup said but Camicazi misunderstood him. When he said, 'home', she didn't hear him say, 'his home' so like Camicazi would she had that little spark of hope that he was telling his mom that it was 'their home'.  (Oh boy...)

"Alright." She stood after running her hand over his hair. "Goodnight."

"Night, Mom." He said then him and Camicazi headed to her ship to get her stuff. 

With Astrid because I feel like it---

 Astrid entered the house and shut the door after her before taking her boots off and then she helped Zephyr take her shoes off. Astrid stood back up and looked at Nuffink who was sleeping against her shoulder. She smiled and walked up the stairs, Zephyr behind her. Astrid pushed open Nuffink's bedroom door and changed his diaper before laying him in his wooden crib. She shut the door and her and Zephyr walked into the little girl's room.  

"Come on, Zeph. Let's get your pajamas on then get you to bed." She said, grabbing purple pants and shirt out of the dresser. Zephyr backed away from her.

"No! I don't wanna go night night!" She exclaimed quite loudly.

"Zephyr, your brother is sleeping next door." She said sternly. "Now come here."

"No." The three year old said. Astrid raised an eyebrow, half surprised and half amused. Zephyr was strong willed just like her father and the age of three. 

"Excuse me?" Astrid said exasperated. 

"I said no." Zephyr said stubbornly. Astrid took a deep breath.

"Okay, Zephyr, come here. I don't want you to be churlish in the morning." Astrid said. Zephyr looked down and walked over to her mother so she could put her pajamas on.

Astrid pulled her shirt over Zephyr's head and helped her arms into the sleeves.  Then she helped Zephyr step into her pants and pull them up. Astrid patted Zephyr's stomach. "See? Isn't that comfy?"

"Yeah." Zephyr mumbled, not looking at Astrid. Astrid frowned and put her index finger under her daughter's chin and lifted it up. 

"I'm not mad, Zeph. Just listen to Mama next time okay?"  Astrid said gently. Zephyr smiled making Astrid smile in return.

"Okay, Mama!" Zephyr said.

"Okay, good. Now let's get you into bed." Zephyr climbed up into her bed and Astrid pulled the covers up to Zephyr's shoulders. She bent down and kissed the auburn haired girl's hair and straightened so she could walk out of the room. 

Before Astrid could even step a foot away from the bed, a tiny hand grabbed her finger. "Mama?" Zephyr said. Astrid turned around.

"Yeah?"

"Lay wif me?" Zephyr asked and Astrid chuckled.

"Of course." Astrid said and laid down next to her daughter. Zephyr snuggled against Astrid.

"I love you, Mama." She whispered and Astrid's heart warmed.

"I love you too." 

Back with Hiccup---

Camicazi and Hiccup walked into the Haddock household and she set her stuff down by the couch. "The bathroom is right there." He pointed to the left. "I'm going to go change." Hiccup walked up the stairs and into his and Astrid's room. 

He removed his armor and leather, leaving him in his brown tunic and pants. he removed his boot and slipped a new black sock on to his foot. He looked up when he heard a creak coming from the doorway and saw Astrid walking into their room and to her dresser. 

"Wear the white one." Hiccup said and stood up. "It looks good on you." 

"No." Astrid muttered. "It's too hot for that..."

"Huh?" Hiccup said in confusion. "It's spring..."

"And I was just laying with Zephyr for almost an hour." She said. "She was practically on top of me." 

"Oh, then what one are you going to wear?" He asked. She rummaged through the dresser and took out her maroon shirt she wore during the war with Drago and blue leggings. Hiccup just stared at her.

"And I thought you said you were hot." He said.

"I'm not anymore but I don't want to wear a nightgown." She said, beginning to change.

"Uh-huh." Hiccup said not amused. "I think it's just because I want you to wear one." He said as she finished putting her pajamas on. She kissed his cheek. 

"Correct!" She exclaimed. "Hiccup Haddock finally gets something right!" She joked, taking her braid out. Hiccup gasped in mock hurt and held a hand to his chest.

"Hey!" Hiccup said loudly. "I've gotten something right before!" Astrid whipped around, her long hair whipping her face. They both cracked up as Astrid pulled her hair away from her face and pulling it out of her mouth. (long hair problems.)

"No, I don't think you have." She said, her finger on her chin, pretending to think.

"Yes I have!" Hiccup said loudly. Astrid tackled him and pressed her hand to his mouth and they toppled onto the floor. "What?" His voice was muffled by her hand.

"Hiccup, kids are sleeping!" She whisper shouted.

"Okay, protective mama bear." Hiccup said and pried her hand off his mouth. 

"Uh, Hiccup! You okay up there? I heard a thud." Camicazi called from downstairs.

"Uh, yeah. I'm fine! Be down in a minute!" He called back and turned his head back to an angry wife. She sat up and crossed her arms as she glared. He sat in front of him and raised his hands in surrender. "she didn't have anywhere else to stay!" She slapped his chest with the back of her hand.

"No, not that!" She said. "Kids are sleeping."

"Oh... right."

"Dork." Astrid muttered.

"Excuse me?" He said.

"I said, 'dork'. Gotta problem with that?" She said. 

"Uh, no." 

"Good." Astrid stood and so did Hiccup. Astrid turned to face Hiccup and he wrapped his arms tightly around her waist, pressing her flush against him. Her arms flew around his neck and she pressed their foreheads together. They simultaneously closed their eyes. "Gods, I love you so much." 

"I love you too, M'lady." Hiccup breathed then pressed his lips to hers. Hiccup pulled away slowly a few minutes later and watched as Astrid blinked her eyes open. "Was that a good kiss?" 

"Huh?" Astrid looked at him and he laughed. "Oh, uh, yeah. Yeah it was." 

"Yes!" Hiccup pumped a fist in the air.

"Hiccup! Kids? Sleeping?" Astrid waved her hand in the air.

"Okay, I'm sorry. I'm sorry." Hiccup said. Astrid rolled her eyes.

"Mama? Daddy?" They heard a little voice by the door. Astrid glared at Hiccup before she spun around to face Zephyr.

"Yes, Sweetie?" She said.

"I woke up." She said, looking around.

"I can see that." Astrid said. "That was all Daddy's fault." 

"Hiccup?" Camicazi called.

"Coming!" Hiccup called and walked down the stairs.

Zephyr watched Hiccup walk down the steps then looked back at Astrid. "Mama? Can I sleep with you and Daddy?"

"Daddy and me aren't going to sleep right now." Zephyr's eye filled with tears. 

"I don't wanna sleep by myself." Zephyr said.

"Why?" Astrid knelt and brushed a stray tear away.

"I had a scary dream." Zephyr sniffed. "A scary dragon took you and Daddy away." 

"Oh, Honey. Dragons are good and live somewhere else." Astrid comforted. "Now, if you try to fall asleep you can come with me downstairs but your eyes need to be closed okay?" 

"Okay." She said and held up her arms. Astrid picked her up and Zephyr laid her head on Astrid' chest and her hands were clasped under her small body, pressing against Astrid's chest but she didn't care. One of Astrid's arms were under Zephyr's legs so she sort of sat on her arm so she wouldn't fall and the other arm was wrapped around her waist. (Does that make sense? Like how people hold babies against their chests?)

 Downstairs---

Hiccup walked down the stairs to see Camicazi sitting on the couch in her pajamas, leggings and a long sleeved tunic. Hiccup sat in his chair across from the couch and looked at the glowing orange fire. 

"What took you so long to change?" She asked. 

"Oh, I was just cleaning up my room." He said but was thinking, totally not joking around, arguing, and making out with my wife.

"Oh, okay." She coughed. "Could I have some water?" 

"Yeah!" Hiccup stood and walked to the kitchen, Camicazi following. 

"If you don't mind me asking, how'd you loose your leg?" She asked.

"Well, I was battling the Red Death and I got knocked out and was falling into the inferno when Toothless, my best friend, bit my leg to save me and the puncture wounds were too deep so they had to amputate it." Hiccup handed her the cup of water. 

"Wow..." Camicazi said, wanting to kiss him so bad but held herself together. "Did you wake up right after?"

"No, I was in a coma for..." He looked at the ceiling trying to think of how long he was out.

"Three weeks." Came another voice. They turned around to see, Astrid Hofferson? Camicazi was very confused. Why was she here? She was holding a sleeping little girl in her arms. 

"Three weeks." Hiccup told Camicazi. Camicazi watched Astrid with confusion as she walked around the place as if she lived here. Which of course, she didn't. Astrid held Zephyr with one arm while she opened a cupboard and took out a muffin and bit into it. Hiccup looked at her, amused while Camicazi looked at her in confusion.

"What?" She laughed while she looked at Hiccup. "I'm hungry!"

"You ate like not that long ago!" Hiccup laughed.

"Uh, like two hours ago." Astrid said and walked into the living room and sat down on the couch, opposite side of where Camicazi's pillow was. Camicazi and Hiccup followed her into the living room. Hiccup sat in his chair and Camicazi sat by her pillow. 

"Your Astrid Hofferson right?" Camicazi asked. 

"I prefer Haddock but yes." Astrid said.

"Huh?"

"I'm Astrid Haddock." She said. 

"Wait. Hold up." Camicazi held up her hand. "I'm confused."

"Hiccup and I have been married for... what? three or four years?" Astrid asked and Hiccup nodded. "Zephyr just turned three a couple months ago and Nuffink turned one six months ago." 

"Zephyr and Nuffink?" Camicazi said, eyes glassy with tears.

"Our kids." Hiccup said and Camicazi nodded. 

"Well, um, I'm kind of tired. I'm going to bed." Camicazi said, swallowing down biting comments and blinking back tears. Astrid stood up, Zephyr still in her arms, and walked over to Hiccup. He stood up and smiled at Astrid. 

Camicazi watched Astrid and Hiccup walk towards the stairs, Hiccups arm wrapped around Astrid's waist. She watched them walk up the stairs, talking quietly, until they were out of sight. 

Camicazi laid down under her blankets in the dark and whispered, "You promised." As a tear rolled down her cheek. She clutched the blanket in anger. She came here to get Hiccup and she gets what she wants.

With Hiccstrid---

Hiccup wrapped an arm around Astrid's waist as they walked up the stairs. "No, you're the one who woke Zeph up." Astrid whispered.

"uh. no. You yelled at me to be quiet so you woke her up." Hiccup whispered back.

"Nope."

"Yup."

"Nope."

"Nope." Hiccup said trying to confuse her.

"Yup." Astrid said.

"See you just admitted it." Hiccup said with a smirk and Astrid pinched his arm.

"No! You tricked me!" Astrid said as they walked to their room and laid down on their bed. Hiccup pulled the furs over them and Astrid laid Zephyr in between them. "She had a nightmare." Astrid brushed their daughter's bangs out of her eyes. 

Hiccup put his arm halfway over his daughter and Astrid did the same, lacing their fingers together. Hiccup pecked her lips before laying back down.

"Love you." He whispered.

"Love you too." Astrid whispered back and they fell asleep.

Part three tomorrow I'm hoping. Probably will be a three shot.
