They'll never take us alive part 2
Stoick sighed and entered his car and drove home. He unlocked his door and stepped inside. His eyes filled with tears as his eyes found a picture of Valka, five year old Hiccup, and him smiling at the camera. Stoick's wife had died when Hiccup was fifteen, six years ago, leaving him in his own grief.
The night she died, the Hofferson's were having a dinner party for their eldest daughter, Emily, graduating from high school. Kiara and Asmund were so happy for their daughter all the time. Well, that night the house caught fire and Emily and Valka didn't make it out.
After Valka's death, Stoick didn't handle his grief too well. He was never home, never there for Hiccup, almost always drunk, and never paid attention to Hiccup. He had killed his son's sprits along time ago.
Emily and a Valka, being Hiccup and Astrid's biggest influences, their deaths changed them. Stoick noticed the changes in his sons behavior a couple months after his wife's death. He got into a fight at school, and another, and another. Needless to say Hiccup was kicked out of that school. Same goes for Astrid. Together, the young couple left home and it was a big surprise to see them on the newspaper and news of them robbing a jewelry store. It only got worse after that. Rob after rob.
Stoick walked up to Hiccup's old room and sat down on his bed. He sighed and looked around. Walls were grey and his bedding was black. After his mother's death Hiccup had changed his room from black and forest green to gloomy colors. Stoick stood and sat down in his recliner in the living room.
He was about to turn on the TV when he got a call at 9:00 pm. The incident had happened at 8:30. He picked up the phone.
"Mayor Stoick?" A voice said.
"Call me Stoick." He said.
"This is air one. Can you come to the police station for an interview? Thank you." The line went dead. Stoick hopped in his car and drove to the police.
He parked his car and walked inside and saw Kiara and Asmund sitting in chairs in front of a camera. The camera man motioned for him to take a seat.
"And we're filming for tomorrow morning!"The director said.
"Hello, I am John Stupor! I am here to interview Kiara and Asmund Hofferson And Stoick Haddock about what happened tonight!" John, the interviewer said. "So, What made Hiccup and Astrid into criminals?"
Kiara spoke up, "I noticed Astrid's changes a couple months after her sister died in a fire. She was Astrid's best friend and was always there for her. She was devastated."
"Stoick?" John asked.
"Hiccup started to change when his mother died in the same fire." He said.
"Okay, where are the two criminals now?" He asked.
"Dead." The three adults said at once.
"And believe it or not, we miss them. A lot." Asmund said. "The sweet little boy and our hyperactive girl."
"Why didn't you arrest them?"
Asmund blinked before he said, "got within three feet of them and yup got a bullet somewhere in your body."
Line break-
"Okay, last question." John said. "What do you plan to do tomorrow?"
"I plan to go to Hiccup and Astrid's house and collect their belongings and return everything they stole." Stoick said.
"Call our family and just have a family day I guess." Kiara snuffed.
"That's it. You're free to go." He said. The Hoffersons and Stoick went home.
Line break—
Stoick parked his car on Hiccup and Astrid's old driveway and hopped out. He heard music coming from their old house.
"Weird." Stoick muttered under his breath. He pushed open the door quietly and he rubbed at his eyes at what he saw.
Astrid, in ghost form so pail and surrounded with blue, was sitting on her couch, hands behind her head, her right leg propped against her bent leg, and it was bouncing up and down. Hiccup, in ghost form, was next to her and his fingers were tapping to the beat of the song, Partners In Crime, while they watched the news of the interview last night. Stoick was about to run for the hills when a shrill voice spoke up.
"Miss us Stoick?" Astrid said without looking at him. He didn't say anything so she stood and turned around. He noticed she still had the bullet hole in her stomach and when Hiccup stood and wrapped his arm around her waist that he did too.
"Good. Because you shouldn't." Hiccup said. They walked out to him and stood a foot away.
"You never took us alive. Now we haunt this place for the rest of your lives." They whispered in unison. They walked closer to him, causing Stoick out of the house. They followed his car through out the city and whoever saw them, paralyzed in fear.
"You'll never take us alive! Until death do us part!" Astrid sang.
"We'll live like spoiled royalty lovers and partners." Hiccup sand.
"Partners In Crime!" They sang together. Now the whole village was staring at them.
"You thought you were safe? Think again." Astrid said before they disappeared into thin air.
The people of Berk never lived in peace again.
Robbery after Robbery continued.
And there was no getting rid of them now.
"PARTNERS IN CRIME!" Two voices sang through the night. Every night.
The end. How was it? Creepy? I was kinda leaning towards that.
