All head turned towards them.

"Uh, do we run or?" Astrid asked.

"Just wait to see what they do." Hiccup whispered back.

"Rogues!" Fishlegs yelled.

"Now we run." Valka said. The three Rogue dragon riders turned and pushed open the door and ran.

"runaway Rogues! Get them!" They grabbed their weapons and ran after the three. Hiccup did a whistle but the dragons didn't come.

"They're too far away! We told them to go to the cove!" Astrid whispered. They were almost to the woods when Astrid screamed in pain and fell. Valka and Hiccup ran over to Astrid to see an arrow sticking out of her shoulder. " just get to the cove and pull it out. " They started running. They made it to the cove and Valka pulled the arrow out as Hiccup held Astrid's hand. She hissed in pain. After Valka bandaged her shoulder and zipped the suit back up they ran to their dragons.

"STOP! Hands in the air and come with us rogues." Stoik said. Astrid grabbed her husbands hand and put them in the air, along with Valka. Three guards walked over and tied their hands behind their backs and shoved them towards the village.

LINE BREAK

They were thrown into a cell. "The chief will be here soon. Until then sit and do not try to escape!" Valka sat down and put her face in her hands. Hiccup sat down with Astrid between his legs, back pressed against his chest.

"now what?" Valka said.

" i dont know. We could be killed." Astrid said as she grabbed both Hiccups hands in hers.

"We just wait and hope for the better." Hiccup said. " anyway we can't use our names so we go by V, A, and H." They nodded.

"Now, Rogues, you will pay for what you have done." Stoik's voice boomed. Astrid squeezed her eyes shut and Hiccup squeezed her hands. Stoik opened the cell door and motioned them to follow. The three vikings stood and followed the chief. They followed them to the great hall and sat on the main table. Around the table was the council. Fishlegs, Snotlout, Gobber, Snotlout's dad, and The Twins. "Sit." He instructed. The three sat in the seats across from everyone. "are you aware of what you have done. " Hiccup nodded. "Why?" They didn't answer.

"speak up." Gobber said. They said nothing. "The chief said why?"

"For all good reasons." Valka said, not using her accent. Her voice was muffled by the mask. 

"pull down your masks." Fishlegs said. They shook their heads. "Or we will do it" The Rogues shared panicked glances.

"A and V, I want you two to run when I give the signal." Hiccup whispered. They nodded and Hiccup turned back to the council and made his voice really deep that Astrid had to hold in her laughter. " well we will be on our way. " He waved his hand and Astrid amd Valka ran towards the doors. They were stopped when Valka fell. Astrid looked and saw an arrow in her leg. Astrid was going to help when she fell with a little scream. Hiccup looked at them and saw two guards with bows in their hands. His mom! Had an arrow in her leg and his wife had one in her side. He could see it wasn't in that deep because of the suit He ran towards them and cradled Astrid and took the arrow out of his mom's leg.

"Now, remove your masks." Stoik said.

"Only if you take us to a healer." Hiccup said in his deep voice. Stoik nodded and motioned for them to follow. Fishlegs helped his mom while he picked up Astrid.

"Hiccup it hurts." She whispered.

"I know, Astrid. Just hold on okay?" He asked and she nodded. They got to the healer and fixed them up. They walked outside to find all of Berk looking at them.

"Take off the masks now or we won't hesitate to execute you. " Stoik said with a glare. Valka looked at them.

"I'll go first." Hiccup and Astrid nodded. Valka took a deep breath and removed her mask. There were gasps.

"Val? " Stoik whispered. "B-but I thought you were dead? Why didn't you come back?" Valka smiled.

"Berk isn't the place for me. I made a home pretty far away. Maybe five days time and I now live there with dragons and these two married rogues." Valka said.

"Uh, w-well you two married rogues. At the same time, remove the masks." He said. Hiccup grabbed Astrid's hand and they slowly removed their masks. There was even more gasps, shouts, and cries.

"Hiccup? Astrid?" The gang said as they surged forward. The two backed away slightly.

"Hey, guys." Astrid said with a straight face.

"We thought you were dead." Snotlout said.

"maybe they are dead and are ghosts! " The Twins screamed.

"No, we are alive." Hiccup explained. " and I guess we have to tell you everything? " they nodded.

"Well, we didn't want to settle down see we... Left. For good. We didn't tell you guys because we knew you wouldn't have agreed with it. We found this place and figured to explore it. We met my mom, Valka, and have been living there with her ever since. We made it our job to protect, rescue, and find dragons. Only the defenders of the wing knew we were alive but we told them not to tell anyone. Two years later we had The defenders of the wing wed us. So Asreid and I are now married. We are very happy with our choice and tend to stay living there." Hiccup explained.

"You aren't staying?" Ruffnut asked. They shook there head.

" We'll visit though." Valka said.

"Hold on! Why did you do what you did?" Stoik questioned .

"We didn't mean too. The fire was started by a hurt and startled Fireworm. We stole because one of our dragons was hurt. And the snow was caused by a new species. The SnowBeasts. " Astrid explained.

"Aye. Alright. At least stay for a day." Stoik pleaded. They nodded and they all walked off to the Great Hall.
