After HTTYD 3 but before the wedding. This may be short so sorry.

Astrid stormed out of the Haddock Household with a look of pure rage on her face. Hiccup ran out of his hut with a look of panic on his face and raced after his girlfriend, if he could even call her that anymore.

"Astrid! Please, let's talk about this!" His outburst caused villagers and The Gang to watch. Hiccup pleaded and reached for her arm, curbing his fingers around her bicep. Astrid wrenched her arm out of his grasp. She turned to him and glared.

"I think I've heard enough from you." Said Astrid while she crossed her arms over her chest. "I hear you have an affair with someone else-not gonna say who- and you don't deny it!"

"But-" Astrid cur him off.

"Hiccup stop." She whispered, her voice raspy from yelling. Her eyes filled with tears and she put her hand out. "Just stop. We're done... " she then turned and ran to her hut.

Hiccup pulled at his hair and cursed. "What have I done?" He muttered and ran a hand over his face before walking to the Great Hall for a Chief meeting.

It was now dinner time and Hiccup sat with the rest of The Gang but he and Astrid didn't utter a word to each other or even glance at one another.

"So..." Fishlegs said trying to make the awkward silence.

"What happened out there?" Tuffnut blurted out. Everyone except Hiccup and Astrid glared at him. "What? I'm curious as to why our dear favorite couple turned into a couple of dragons and roared at one another!"

"Okay, Okay. First of all they didn't turn into dragons. Second of all I don't think they are a couple anymore." Snotlout said, looking at Hiccup for confirmation.

"Nope." Hiccup popped the 'p' before taking another bite of his food.

"What? Why?" Ruffnut asked, concerned.

"Ask Astrid it was basically her fault." Hiccup muttered and Astrid slammed her fist in the table.

"What?!" She growled. "I remember how it was you who had another affair with some woman! It was you who didn't deny anything! I do not see how this was my fault."

"It's not my fault that you're not good enough for me!" Hiccup shouted.

"Then why not break up with me?! You had to break my heart even more!" She practically screamed.

"Because I wanted to hurt you just as bad as you hurt me!" He screamed back. "All you did was hurt me as a kid!"

"I said I was sorry!" She shouted. "But you can't make up for what you did." Her hands curled into fists and she castes her glare to the floor.

"I just wanted payback!" Hiccup said. Astrid's eyes snapped up and she gave a humorless laugh.

"Payback? This is what it's all about? Payback!?"She glared at him. "I'll give you payback, Hiccup!"

"It's Chief to you, Hofferson!" Hiccup said, his own hands curling into fists at his sides.

"Fine Chief." She mockingly said.

"Don't you dare mock me. I can lock you up in a blink of an eye." Hiccup said menacingly.

"That's more payback, huh? Because I think you've had your fair share!" She yelled. "You don't deny anything and even if you tried I wouldn't believe you!"

"So now you don't trust me!?" He glared harder at her and she placed her hand on her hips.

"Haven't trusted you since I caught you in the act a couple weeks ago." She said nonchalantly but still glaring at him. "The thing that angers me, Chief, was that you didn't tell me."

"So what?"

"You lying to me hurt the most." Astrid said. "And here's no chance I'll be with you again."

"I don't care!" He yelled. "I don't want to be with you! Why do you think I cheated on you?!"

Meanwhile:

"Are we just gonna let this happen? They're gonna slice each other's heads off!" Snotlout said.

"I don't want them to fight all the time! Just think what would happen to all of us if Hey hate each other!" Ruffnut said and her twin brother pretended to faint.

"No, we're gonna do something about it." Fishlegs said before standing up. "ENOUGH!" Hiccup and Astrid froze mid scream before snapping their mouths shut. They had moved around the table and were now standing by each other as they turned to Fishlegs. "I'm Don't with you two fighting!"

"We're done with you two fighting!" Tuff, Ruff, And Snotlout said.

"So if you're going to fight don't do it in the Great Hall!" Tuffnut yelled.

"So if you two aren't getting back together anytime soon or aren't done fighting, leave!" Snotlout pointed at the door.

Hiccup and Astrid stared at one another for a minute before bursting out laughing. They were laughing so hard that they had to lean against one another.

"What? What's so funny?" Fishlegs looked at them with a blank expression.

Hiccup and Astrid recomposes themselves and she wiped a tear from her cheek. "That was awesome." She said still laughing a bit.

"Tell me about it." Hiccup laughed and wiped at his eyes.

"I'm confused." Ruff said.

"We're confused." Tuff corrected. Astrid counted with her fingers. 3...2...1...

"APRIL FOOLS!" They yelled. The gang face planted.

"Oh gods... how did we believe that?" Fishlegs said.

"We are so dumb!" Snotlout shouted.

"Good one H and A!" Tuffnut high fives the couple.

"Do you really think I'd cheat on Astrid?@ Hiccup laughed and wrapped an arm around her shoulders and Astrid laid her head on his shoulder.

"And I would definitely wait for an explanation." Astrid said.

"You guys are good actors." Fishlegs muttered.

"Wanna know what you two are?" Snotlout said. "You two are sick."

Everyone laughed and enjoyed the rest of the night.
