Hiccup's eyes widened. "Marriage?" He asked. He wasn't going to lie that he hasn't ever thought about it. Him and Astrid have talked about it and concluded that they weren't ready just yet.

" Yes, marriage. " Chief Lozack said. Then he smiled. "And my daughter is interested."

" your daughter? I'm sorry but I am already in a relationship." Hiccup said as he rubbed the back of his neck. The Chief laughed.

"With who?" Lozack asked, still chuckling.

" Astrid. Blonde haired, blue eyed? " Hiccup told Lozack.

"The Village girl? You could do much better. Give my daughter a chance. Take hee somewhere tonight. That's all I'm asking." Lozack suggested . Hiccup sighed. He really didn't want to get on this guys bad side.

"A-alright. Fine." Hiccup said, defeated. He then walked out of the Great Hall and walked to the academy. He saw Astrid showing Emmaline the dragons. "Astrid!" He called. The blonde haired viking looked at him and smiled.

"Hey, Hiccup." She said as she walked over to him.

"I have to take Emmaline out somewhere tonight." He said. Astrid glared.

"Why?" she asked. Hiccup rubbed the back of his neck and smiled sheepishly.

"Well.. They are here to talk about marriage and she is interested. So her dad told me to take her out somewhere ether wise he'd kill me."

"Hiccup." Astrid sighed. "Fine. Where are you taking her?" Hiccup thought about it.

"Where do you want me to take her?" Hiccup asked.

"The cove. Because then I can find you." She smiled and he smiled back.

"Okay, well I got to go take her to the cove." Hiccup said as he pecked his girlfriend's lips. "Bye. See you later."

"Bye." Astrid watch her boyfriend hop on Toothless with Emmaline behind him. Emmaline held on to Hiccup's waist and Astrid glared. Then the Chief of Berk and the Princess of the Nordic Tribe flew off towards the cove. Astrid flipped her hair behind her shoulder and walked toward the Great Hall, looking for the gang. She was looking at the ground as she walked thinking about Hiccup. She loves him no doubt about it. She trusts him too. She doesn't trust Emmaline. She shook it off and ran into someone and fell back.

"Sorry, Miss." Lozack said as he helped Astrid up. She fixed her hair.

"It's fine, sir." She said as she looked up at him. Realization flashed in his eyes.

"You're Astrid?" He asked. She nodded. "Hello Astrid. Hiccup is on a date with my daughter. Are you aware?"

"Yes. He told me and it's not a date." She said. Lozack smiled sadly at the girl in front of him.

"You so sure about that? My daughter is interested in marrying the young Chief of Berk and I know he will pick the right decision."

"Which is?" Astrid crossed her arms.

"Marrying my daughter over you of course!" He exclaimed. Astrid's eyes widened.

"I don't think he will." Astrid defended.

"My daughter could certainly give Hiccup more." He said.

"Why?"

"Because she's a princess! And you are.. Well... A village girl." Lozack said as he laughed. "and just better than you. More riches. Better ruler. Prettier. Dresses better. And much more." Astrid's ocean blue eyes glared at the man.

"He wouldn't choose your daughter." She said. Lozack laughed.

"Do you know where they are?" He asked and Astrid nodded. "go spy on them and tell me who was right? Okay, dear?" She nodded and ran off. As she ran through the woods her hair got caught on a branch and pulled her backwards.

"Ouch." She muttered as she freed her hair and kept running. She made it to the cove and hid behind a boulder. Hiccup and Emmaline were sitting by the water and seemed to be talking. Astrid couldn't here them so she kept watching. Toothless turned and saw her but Astrid made a quiet gesture. She strained her ears to hear them.

"So... You are interested in getting married?" Emmaline asked.

"Y-yeah. I am." Hiccup said and Astrid's eyes widened. Emmaline squealed and pressed her lips to Hiccups. Astrid didn't wait to see if he kissed back or not because she ran. She wiped her tears as she ran back to Berk.

Lozack saw her running and wiping her tears away. He smirked and made his way over. "What did I tell you?" Astrid pushed passed him but he grabbed her arm and yanked her back and she fell  to the ground. "I said what did I tell you?"

"I am not admitting anything." Astrid said as she got off the ground and brushed the dirt off her skirt. The Chief of the Nordic Tribe pushed her down again.

Back at the cove-

Emmaline pressed her lips to Hiccups. Hiccup pushed her away and just stared at her.

"Why didn't you kiss back? You said you wanted to get married!" she said.

" I do want to get married. Just not to you. " I said. she frowned at me them glared.

"Then to who?"

"Astrid." Hiccup said then stood. "Come on we should get back."

"The village girl?" Emmaline screeched.

" Yes, the Village girl. " Hiccup muttered as him and Toothless started walking back to Berk. Emmaline was walking next to Hiccup and tried to grab his hand in which he pulled away. They eventually made it to Berk and what Hiccup saw did not make him happy. He watched as Chief Lozack, Emmaline's father, push Astrid to the ground. Hard. She didn't get up. Hiccup stormed over to them and stood in front of Astrid protectively.

"What do you think your doing?" Hiccup shouted. Lozack smirked.

"Well, Astrid here, came running back to Berk crying. So I asked her to tell me what I said and she wouldn't. And if a Chief asks you to do something, you do it. So she didn't listen so I was putting her in her pace because she's a village girl and a piece of dirt. " Lozack finished.

Something played in Hiccup's mind. Ran back to berk crying. Tell her what I said. " what did you tell her!? "

"That you would pick my daughter over her. That !y daughter is so much better than her. So I told her to go watch you guys and I don't know what She saw but she didnt like it."

"I would like you and Emmaline to leave Berk." Hiccup said as he glared and pointed at their ship.

"Fine but it isn't the last you've seen of us." He said. Then him and his daughter boarded the ship and left. He heard a groan and turned to Astrid. She slowly sat up holding her hand to her forehead. Hiccup kneeled next to her.

"Hey, you okay?" Hiccup asked. Astrid's head snapped up and looked at Hiccup.

" Yeah I'm fine. " She muttered. She stood and started to walk away. Hiccup ran after her and grabbed her hand. She tried to pull it away but he turned her around and gripped her arms.

"Astrid, I am so sorry. She kissed me and I pushed her away." He said.

"You said you were interested in marrying her." She said as her eyes filled with tears.

"No. I said I was interested in getting married but not with her. With you. When we're ready." He explained. Astrid smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck and his around her waist. They leaned in and kissed. After about a minute they pulled away and smiled. Hiccup grabbed her hand and laced their fingers as they walked to the great hall.
