Traitor Johann's POV:

(I thought it would be cool to do part of a chapter in the traitor's POV)

That blasted girl left me in the freezer again.  Is she trying to make a new enemy?  If so, it's working.

The ice had melted off a long time ago, but another girl with Night Fury wings flew in and trapped me again.  It seems that Amber and her friends have a thing for trapping innocent traders in ice blocks.  Also, that hybrid girl.  Never heard of those before.  Maybe there are more hybrids around these parts, might be one or two that will be willing to help me.

I was merely trying to engage in some friendly conversation with the Riders when she rudely interrupted, saying I was a traitor.  A traitor of all things.  I've never done anything wrong, other than help Dagur escape, and team up with the Grimborns, but I had no choice!

What are you supposed to do when a crazy berserker has you a knife point?  I may have actually agreed, but that doesn't mean that I can't be nice when I want to.

Right now, I'm standing outside of Amber's house, outside her window.  She was watching something on her rectangular box that makes noises like dings and bell sounds.  I could see the Riders watching something on the big rectangular box.  They were watching this moving picture thing that showed people fighting weird deformed people.  Why would anyone watch something like that?  That's just weird.

I need to get my knives and spear back.  Why must this girl be obsessed with weapons?  Maybe I should try to become a dragon hybrid like that Night Fury girl.  Maybe that'll make retrieving my knives and spear a lot easier.  Or I should look for a hybrid.

I found another hybrid alright.  One that looked like the Night Fury girl, except she had white wings and ear plates.

Is she a LIGHT FURY?!  I didn't know that those existed.  I thought they were just a myth.

This is great!  I should get her to help me retrieve my weapons.  I was about to approach her when she spotted me and threw me in this glowing, purple hole.  

Normal POV:

The Riders were watching TV while Amber was on her phone.  She was doing what some HTTYD fans do in their spare time.  Reading HTTYD fan fictions.  She was reading ones where Stoick didn't die and ones where Valka didn't go missing when Hiccup was a child.  In other words, she was reading an Everyone-Is-Happy-And-Did-Not-Die AU story.

(Speaking of HTTYD fan fictions, I recommend you all to read Legends of the Dragon Riders and Secrets of the Dragon Riders by TheEarthMother.  I think they're both fantastic stories and you should definitely check them out)

"Amber, what are you reading?" Snotlout asked when Astrid paused the movie to go get food from the pantry labeled "Visitor's Food, (terms and conditions apply)".

"I'm reading fan fictions." she replied.

"What are fan fictions?"

"They're stories written by a fan of a certain book, movie or game using characters from said book, movie or game."

"What does that mean?" Tuff asked.

"So for example, someone in a movie dies, and you hated that fact.  So if you're a fan of that movie, you might write a story where that character lives instead of dying." Amber explained.

"I see." Ruff said.  "Maybe we could read those after watching, what is this moving picture thing called?"

"It's called a movie and it's the movie I was watching.  Battle of the Five Armies." Amber said.

"Except that there's clearly two." Snotlout said.  "A bad guy, deformed creature army with Commander Metal Arm, and those people with gold and silver armor, with the guy riding the deer and that short-ish guy with black hair and braids as commanders."

"I'm not gonna bother correcting you on that." Amber said.  "It's too much work, and you wouldn't get it anyways."

"So what are you guys doing now?" Astrid asked.  "Is the movie over?  Did they win?"

"How come Astrid knows more about this movie than us?" Ruff asked.

"Maybe because she asked me about it?" Amber said.  "And here, you may use these iPads to read."

"How does this work?" Fishlegs asked, turning the iPad over in his hands.  It turned on suddenly because he was pressing down on the power button.  "Ahhhh!!  It's so bright!!"

"Why is there an apple logo?" Hiccup asked, squinting in the bright light.

"Because the brand that makes these iPads is called Apple." Amber said.

"Ok, so just read those stories that are already loaded." she said after they've recovered from the brightness of the screen turning on.

In Amber's craft room

She sat  on the stood, listening to music when the door burst open.  Echo and Lizz ran in, shouting about Traitor Johann being outside her house.

"That's not possible, I thought you froze him in the ice after my ice melted." Amber said.

"Yeah, but then he ran past me muttering about light furies and hybrids and stealing Echo's stones so I transported him into outer space." Lizz said.

"Won't he die of lack of oxygen?" Echo asked.

"Yeah, isn't that a good thing?" Lizz asked.

"Sure." Amber said.

"Guys, why did Johann appear in my bathroom?" a girl with black hair and heterochromia stepped from a portal.

"Hi, Nyki!" Amber waved.  "You should ask Lizz."

"Ok." she turned to the Light Fury hybrid.  "Care to explain why Johann appeared in my bathroom?"

"He was meant to go into outer space." the younger girl mumbled.

"It's fine.  I apparated him into Newt's suitcase, had one of his Occamies sit on him and left him in there until I feel like letting him out." she said.  "What are the Riders doing?"  (Viggo_Ghost, plz correct me.  It's been a while since I've watched fantastic beasts)

"They're reading fan fictions." Amber said.

"You actually listened to my suggestion." Echo said.

"They look utterly scarred for life." Lizz commented.

"It's their first time reading fan fictions." Amber said.

"WHAT IN THE NAME OF THOR IS THIS MADNESS???" Snotlout shrieked.

"Hey, no need to yell." Amber said, going over to see what the problem was.

"These are very......interesting." Hiccup said after giving some thought.

"Yeah, but I'd rather stick to watching movies." Astrid said, handing the device back to Amber.  The other Riders did the same.  "What happened after the brothers split up to search the towers?"

Amber stopped what she was doing and walked away stiffly with the iPads in her arms.

"Good going." the ghost of Viggo Grimborn said sarcastically.  "You just made her get a mental breakdown.  She's probably going to go destroy some stuff because she's still not over their deaths."

"Who are you?" Ruff asked the ghost.

"I'm your good friend, Viggo Grimborn.  I hate Johann and my brother because they tried to---"

"NO SPOILERS!!" the remaining three girls shouted.

Hi guys, another update.

The idea was inspired by EchoTheHybrid's comment in a previous chapter about teaching the Riders about fan fiction.

I threw in a little part which was in Johann's POV because I've never written in an antagonist's POV before, it might be a little weird.

And look at this!  I actually got a labradorite necklace for Christmas.  This is the design that I based Amber's necklace off of, because I could refer to it any time I want.  I also got a blank actor's mask, which I could use to create Amber's mask that covers her scar and blind eye.  Maybe I should cosplay as my OC sometime, after I have the mask done.  Would that be a good idea?

I should call this book's readers Hybrids.  Because I have lots of mentions of hybrids in this book and in HTTYD watches RTTE.

Yeah, I'll do that.
