Xenoblade Chronicles: The Converted Faces

Introduction

Long ago,two titans existed on an endless ocean... oh... who am I kidding. You already know this. I am a Machina, the species being the people of the Mechonis. Presumably, you are one of the Bionis'... homs. If you are of Mechonis origin, this was not supposed to end up in your hands, your scaly, sharp, and dangerous hands. Like mine... anyway,back on topic. I am about to tell you the tale of the Faced Mechon,the ones Egil, the self-proclaimed "Leader of Mechonis" makes.These were once homs, like you, PRESUMABLY, but they have been converted into the enemy of the Bionis, the Mechon. Zanza, the soul of the Bionis, caused our people to be almost completely wiped out.Wielding the weapon you all know as the Monado, he chopped clean off the arm of the Mechonis. Egil, out of fear and hatred, started a rebellion against Zanza, and eventually built a new arm. 

Meanwhile,the soul of the Mechonis, Lady Meyneth, inhabited the Mechonis to fight back. This is the perilous battle you know now. Zanza was never truly defeated, but locked away in the final stages of the battle by the High Entia into Prison Island. You may be wondering, "How can you lock away a soul?" I'll tell you that. Zanza, while still controlling the Bionis, inhabited the body of a purple giant, now long extinct. And then the High Entia locked him away, and you know the rest. Eventually, the Monado was found, locked away, like Zanza,not in Prison Island, but the Sealed Tower. 

About fifteen years ago,the Monado was found by a group of homs, including a homs called Shulk, and his parents, and another homs named Dickson. Dickson and Shulk would later become friends of one homs called Dunban and Mumkhar, but we will get to that later. Most of these homs died in the tower on Valak Mountain, most likely because of the extreme cold.When Dickson came to see how they were doing, he saw the corpses, and the almost dead Shulk. He brought Shulk, and the newly found Monado,to Colony 9, where it was studied and tested. Eventually it was learned the Monado could destroy Mechon. Fast forward to one year ago, and the homs were leading an assault on Sword Valley, the sword the Mechonis. This is now known as the Battle of Sword Valley. 

Mumkhar, Dickson, and Dunban wielding the Monado, led the assault. Dunban, however, could not take much the Monado. He lost the ability to use his right arm, but survived, and the battle was won by the people of the Bionis. Egil writhed in defeat, and needed a way to counter the Monado. He then realized, the Monado could not harm those with the blood of Zanza, or people born of the Bionis. He then decided to convert captured homs, like Mumkhar, into Faced Mechon,the faces meaning they are human. One of these would lead an assault on Colony 9, the place where the Monado is housed. Shulk, after traveling through Tephra Cave with his friends Reyn and Fiora, tried to wield the Monado and protect his colony. He only did because the Faced Mechon, known as Metal Face, or Mumkhar, got bored of the assault. However, he "killed" Fiora, but in fact, took her to the Mechonis, to convert her to a face. 

Shulk is now on an adventure for vengeance, and now has the ability to do a massive attack, see the future that will happen if he does nothing, shield people, and increase agility for the people of the Bionis. According to Egil, he is now onto the Bionis' back, or Makna Forest. Soon he will get to his goal, Prison Island, and he may even release Zanza. Zanza cannot be released, and I hope to get this to him, or a homs close to him,like presumably YOU, to deliver this to him. So, do that. I cannot allow Zanza to be released. Neither can Lady Meyneth. Then all of her fighting would be in vain. She says it is inevitable, but I, nor Egil, can allow him to be released. And if the Monado is released...no. I'd rather not think it. And then, he could hurt homs, which I know he would not want to do. So get this to him, quick! And Egil is coming, so I'm going to wrap up this introduction with my name.
