it was one of those hot summer nights on hawaii where you could sit at the beach at 2am and talk about life.
after the cancelled group date taehyung asked jungkook out to have a night at the beach. so they grabbed a huge blanket and some fruits, a music box and some lube (of course) and made themselves comfortable at the beach, close to the water. taehyung was laying there, jungkook's head resting on his chest while they were cuddling and enjoying each other's presence.

"i'm glad i've got you", taehyung hummed and let his fingers glide through jungkook's fluffy hair. "i'm glad you chose me after all", kookie replied, a small smile crawling on his lips which made him all giggly. "what's that supposed to mean baby?", taehyung asked a little confused. "you're so handsome tae, you could make everyone fall for you but yet you chose me", the younger said proudly while his fingers made their way under taehyung's shirt where he started drawing circles on his skin.

"i'd always choose you jungkook, even if i'd live a hundred lifes. i'd always try to find you in each one of them and choose you. over and over again", taehyung mumbled and closed his eyes.
the moon was shining brightly from above and a soft breeze cooled down the heated air from daytime. the waves moved slowly and their sounds felt so comforting to the boys.
jungkook looked up to taehyung after he said that, biting his lip shyly over this. he couldn't even express in words how happy he felt to have taehyung; to finally call him his fiance and soon to be husband.
instead of giving an answer he carefully pressed his lips onto the older's, moving them slowly but passionately. taehyung hummed something which sounded like 'i love you' but then melted into the kiss just like the younger did.

not everyone's evening went on that soft and romantically.

while jimin was sitting in his room and stared out of the window, yoongi sat on a rock close to the water and threw small stones he found on the beach. tears were dripping down his cheeks and he felt helpless. he screwed up so badly and he had no idea how to make it right. hoseok went to a bar and drank champagne there with some hot dudes he met there, trying to get his boyfriend off his mind.

as usually, lisa was there to help. this girl really had something like a sensor inside her heart where she just knew where to go so she could comfort the ones crying. she was walking along the water after her night shift ended and saw a silhouette from afar sitting on a rock. its shoulders where shaking, the person obviously in tears and sobbing hardly.
the girl sighed as she made her way over there. she promised herself to stay on jimin's side but she couldn't let yoongi sit there like this.

"oh guys, this is like some kdrama-", she hummed as she sat down next to the older boy. he immediately stopped crying and glanced at her. "go away", he grumbled, covering his face so she wouldn't see those tears. "i know you're crying", she said and raised an eyebrow. "is it because of jimin or because of hoseok or because you're stupid and broke two hearts at once?", she asked directly. maybe this wasn't helping but she still felt angry at him for hurting jimin like this. "it's because i'm stupid", yoongi answered and finally put down his hands. "right, i agree on that", lisa said. "but still, it's not like everything's hopeless. there's always a happy ending."

"only in movies or books. not in real life", yoongi snapped and wiped his tears away. lisa threw back her hair and looked at the boy through her bangs which made her look even prettier under the moonlight. "are you and jimin.. you know.. is there something going on?", yoongi asked quietly. of course he realised how close they got and he would lie if he'd say he didn't get jealous over it.
but lisa only laughed at this, "hell nah. i'm having a girlfriend", she chuckled.

yoongi's eyes widened and his cheeks heated up, "oh damn, sorry."
lisa shook her head amused, "it's fine. jennie would kick your ass if she'd knew you thought i'd date a guy- but it's whatever", she smiled.
"jimin is in love with you, i don't know if you still don't get it but the only way someone can hurt you deeply is if there are deep feelings involved. that's why jimin's heart broke and that's also why yours broke too when you broke his."

"sounds complicated", yoongi hummed.
"didn't you say you're straight-"
"i lied." lisa rolled her eyes. "now focus, you gotta make a choice and then be honest with them. you can't have it all."

yoongi ruffled his hair and looked up to the stars. "do you think i could even make him trust me again? i fucked it up so badly."
lisa nodded slowly, "sure you can. jimin literally wants to trust, it shouldn't be too hard. but don't do shit like that again, i mean it."
"i wouldn't. jungkook's fist once was enough."

"mine would be worse so take care of jimin. i'll talk to him, alright? i'll see if there's a chance."

yoongi nodded and felt relieved for the first time in a while.
maybe not everything was hopeless.
