A years later.
I finally return from war.It felt fulfilling to be at peace again."Well Flippy you were right, you really nailed it out there... but quit laughing like a maniac." said one of my teammates."What do you mean?" I ask confusingly. But my question reamained unanswered since he already left. So I just waited for my mom outside the airport.
2 HOURS LATER....
"Mom may not know I'm here. Might as well go home myself."I told myself.I then carried my baggage and rode on a cab. I looked outside the window to past the time. A lot of things changed when I got back a lot more buildings opened and smaller establishments demolished. I then got down the cab and went inside the house. Everything thing was dusty when I got inside but I didn't mind."Mom?"I called out I then noticed a note at the dusty coffee table. My eyes widen as I read it.

"My dear son
I am confined in the hospital right now due to a high fever. I told someone to give you this note. Don't be
worried about me I will be fine.
Love,Mom"

Without a moment of hesitation I rushed to the hospital. "Mom?" I said as I opened the door. "S-son..." she said weakly. I then sat down next to her and held her hand as tightly as I could."What happened?" I ask, "I have cancer son and I'm about to die..." she said in tears. It was then that my world came crashing down I felt extremely horrible. I then buried my face to her stomach crying.I stayed for 2 hours doing everything for my mom. "Sir,your mom needs to go to chemo." said a nurse. "Yes, son I want to go alone I hate seeing you worried..." Mom said. I hesitated but I knew my Mom will force me so I said goodbye and left. I then thought of going to the cafe to ease my worries about my mom. So I went outside and made my way to the cafe.
