Birth and Journey.

A woman slipped through the station, silently watching as people ran in fear from the opposing forces. She smiled before making her way to a room before texting someone. A response followed before the screens separated, revealing a secret room. She went in with a smile.

"Found you."

She gently grabbed the glow, which seemed to be small enough to fit in her hand. Another text was sent before she scanned the picture that was there. She then responded before a small child appeared in front of her. He was cute. She then sealed the glowing object into him, gaining a soft breath before she smiled.

"Perfect."

~

Meanwhile, a silver haired girl watched the scene, almost being in the room. She stayed still as the child was carried out. Then she approached the other being, who had practically glitched it. She encased it into a crystal-like container before floating it behind her. She left it floating near the male before leaving.

~

Slowly, the female woke up, pressing a hand against the crystal as she nearly lost her stability. She was able to stabilize herself before the crystal let her go.

'Where...'

She looked around, trying to figure out where she was before she saw the smaller child, who was gently resting by a wall. He had a faint light glow around him. She blinked twice before looking around. What was going on? She carefully went over before touching his shoulder, getting a soft sound. Ok... he was alive. That was a start. She looked around before checking if she had anything. She discovered a sword-like item on her back. Interesting. She gulped before the sound of feet followed.

"Look! There!"

"I see 'em. Relax!"

She turned to see two people with the same faint light glow around them running over. They went to the smaller kid, which was fine. The dark haired male was able to awaken the kid, who looked confused, before he picked the child up. She followed them, unsure why they didn't see her. They didn't get far before the smaller boy was spooked by some attackers. Before she could get in front to fend them off, a growl filled the air. The pink haired female grabbed an ear before a dragon made of light tore up the attackers. The girl gasped softly as someone landed. He looked nearly identical to the one holding the kid. The pink haired female smiled.

"Thanks, Imbibitor Lunae."

'No problem. Looks like you got your hands full.' He seemed to look at her before returning to the pink haired girl. 'I've already gotten most of the researchers up to the Master Control Center. But that's as far as I've gotten.' She nodded.

"We'll go there to get this little guy checked. Could you finish cleaning up?"

'Got it.' He waited for them to leave before he turned to her, spooking her. 'Are you ok?' She nodded.

'Uh... yeah. Just confused...' He nodded.

'You can join me. I may be able to help you.'

She blinked as she followed him, curious.

~

The other two, March 7th and Dan Heng, got the child to the Master Control Room as he trembled. He had been mumbling non-stop, something about his sister. However, March was sure they hadn't seen a second kid. Asta was able to calm the kid down with something.

"Why don't we check the cameras for her? Maybe she got separated or ran off?" The kid nodded softly, completely latched on to the gentle tone she provided. She carried him over to one of the computers, helping him search. She glanced at Arlan. "Make sure Herta is out of sight, mind and hearing." He nodded before heading off as the child whined at seeing the place he had woken up at. "Here. Let's go back from here." He calmed down as she rewinded the tape. She also pulled out her phone and got her camera set up with something. She paused it at where the woman from before placed him down. "There's you... now where-" Seeing the woman walk off had her move her camera forward. "March, come here." March paused before going over as the smaller boy smiled at something on her phone. "We have a glitch on our hands. It's why you didn't see her." She blinked before looking at the phone, seeing a second person getting placed near them.

"Wow... oh shit- I should've checked-" She turned to Dan Heng as he dazed off. "Can you connect to Imbibitor Lunae and check to see if he found a silver haired female?" He blinked twice before nodding and closing his eyes. After a moment, he opened them.

"She was with us until he saved us from the ambush. She's with him right now." March nodded.

"Good to know. Thanks." She turned back to the kid. "Your sister is safe. Our other companion has her." The kid giggled happily as she hummed.

~

Imbibitor Lunae led the girl around, helping her get used to her skills and the area. She now understood that she was a "Glitch", which was created when the other kid was made. She also learned that she was a part of the "Eclipse".

'So... this is...' He smiled as they neared another group of enemies.

'The Eclipse is a mirrored version of the real world. There's a few species here in the Eclipse. Glitches; which is what you are, Viruses; which are nasty little creatures, and Outcasters; which is what I am. I think there's more, but I don't know them.' She hummed as he sent a dragon at the group. He then hummed before gripping his head. He took a moment before smiling. 'We're just about done. We should head back. Your brother's looking for you.' She blinked before he led the way to the others.

~

March, Dan Heng, the kid, and Himeko headed for the express, making sure the Antimatter Legion didn't tear it apart. Dan Heng had sent a message to Imbibitor Lunae about their movements before they went, so that the other two weren't lost. The kid carried a bat, which was the size of him, as they approached. Himeko paused.

"Get ready."

~

Thankfully, Welt and the other two were able to arrive on time. Welt dealt with the kid's situation while Imbibitor Lunae and the girl raced over.

'You get to your brother. I got this monster.' She nodded as she joined Welt. Imbibitor Lunae raced up before sending a dragon at the beast, quickly tearing it down and causing it to vanish. March smiled as she gripped an ear.

"Thanks!" They grouped up as the small boy latched onto Welt, trembling while burying his head in the older man's chest. His sister was rubbing his back, trying to soothe him.

~

While the kid, who they learned was named Caelus, rested in the medical bay, the rest (his sister stayed with him) grouped up with Asta and Arlan. Asta sighed.

"Herta was alerted of the situation. But guess what really peeved her?"

"Who said the word?" Arlan dropped his head.

"It slipped-" March sighed.

"It's fine. What did you say?" Arlan frowned.

"All I said was that there were two teams working through the station. She asked where the second one was and I slipped up with the word."

"Better than nothing. Can't believe that group." Himeko smiled as Imbibitor Lunae sighed.

'There's nothing we can do. The Geniuses will forever be against us.' March scoffed as Asta hummed.

"Caelus is up. He's a little weary about what happened, but he's alright." Himeko glanced at Dan Heng.

"Dan Heng, why don't you and Imbibitor Lunae go see him? If Herta's there, wait until she's out before talking to the siblings." Dan Heng nodded before the duo left. March sighed.

"We'd better figure out a way for Caelus to communicate with his sister. Dan Heng has a way, I have a way, you and Welt... sorta have a way. But..."

~

Caelus was giggling softly as his sister gently tickled his sides when the duo went over. Caelus instantly latched onto their arrival.

"Uh oh... the deathly has arrived." Dan Heng blinked as the other two giggled from behind the wall.

"I'm... not?" Caelus blinked before giggling, breaking Dan Heng's confusion. Imbibitor Lunae glanced at the female.

'How are you two doing?' She nodded softly.

'It's weird not being able to talk to him, but I'm getting the hang of it.' He nodded as Dan Heng played with the smaller boy.

'Do you have a name? Because we have Caelus's. So?' She blinked twice.

'I... don't know... I don't know a lot...'

'We could ask Caelus.' She glanced at him as he smiled before sending a mental message to Dan Heng, who dazed out before whispering to Caelus. The girl was messing with the gray hair when Caelus giggled.

"Stelle-" She blinked as he tried to swat her hand from his head, failing since they were immune to his attempts. She then smiled before poking at his sides, getting quite the laughter from the little boy.

~

Caelus giggled as they boarded the express. He was too young to stay at the station and they made a group decision that it wasn't safe to leave him with Herta. The giggles were endless as he was set down on a seat.

"He's a giggle box."

"He's a kid. But he's lively." Caelus's giggles had calmed down as he yawned, tiredness grasping him. Dan Heng sat next to him as he rubbed the smaller back.

A little later, while they were getting set to roll, a text hit March's phone.

SW: If I step onto the Express, can I avoid getting murdered?

March: With your status?

SW: I know what you're about to say
I have a peace offering.
The Offering does not include the rest of the Hunters.
It is only from me.
Please?

March: I'll try my best.

SW: Better than nothing.

March sighed.

"Incoming." They all paused as Caelus tiredly sat up. A screen appeared before someone stepped out of it. Silver hair swung slightly behind them before the female sighed.

"Shit- I gotta readjust that setup over there. That was uncomfy-" She then shook her head as if to get to the point. "Morning Express, Astral and Eclipse. How's life?" Imbibitor Lunae gave a scoff from behind. "Well that sounded pleasant. Regardless. I promise I'm not here to cause harm."

"Then why are you a hunter?"

"I never said that it was going to stay like that. Besides, I'm not the one murdering whole nations or manipulating problem children." March frowned.

"Then what is this for?" The female smiled as she tapped the screen behind her and pulled out two bags.

"As I stated, I know there are two Express Crews that can hear me right now. I also know that the Eclipse Wall has not been very friendly. I would've done this in the space station, but after hearing the puppet rant, I took a pass."

One bag seemed to float in the air as she pulled out a box from the other. She went over to Caelus, who was wearily yawning. Giving the kid time to process her being there, she opened the box and pulled two things out, goggles and earbuds. Caelus blinked before she gave him the goggles. Curiosity took over as he put them on.

"And there's that." March frowned as the other bag was beckoned over. "A way for him to connect to Stelle. These headphones should let you hear her." He took them as she grabbed the second bag and pulled out a laptop, which was offered to Himeko. "There. That should help you connect to the Eclipse Express." There was a moment of silence before she continued. "I merely monitor the Eclipse. It's what I do when I'm not chasing the Stellaron Hunters across the galaxy. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm getting an alert from the Xianzhou Eclipse. Enjoy yourselves."

She slipped back into the screen, which vanished afterwards. Imbibitor Lunae finally spoke.

'Monstrous creep.'

"Leave it." She glanced at Caelus, noticing he was in a soft conversation with Stelle. "At least she wasn't looking for trouble." Himeko nodded as she scanned the laptop.

"No. She meant her words. I'm able to see the other side through here." She paused. "Silver Wolf was the one that put Stelle with Caelus. She must've expected this to happen." Welt hummed.

"Well. Let's get ready to take off. We'll talk to the other side when they're ready."
