Autumn leads Jana and the Monster High girls toward the Ghoulish Gala dance when- Someone in a horrifying mask leaps out at them from around the corner!

"BOO!" A guy with blonde hair, blue eyes, and a freaky costume tried to see if he could scare them. He awesome had a light brown beard.

Draculaura screamed and Jana screamed a bit.

The guy started laughing hard, then tried stopping as he spoke, "Yes! I totally got you!"

"Nu uh! You did not!" Jana said not wanting to admit that she got kind of scared.

"He kinda did..." Autumn said agreeing with the guy.

"Speaking of getting your hearts pumping... how ya doin', ladies? The name's Warren, Max Warren." He smiled at them. Max winks at the Monster High girls.

"No. Thanks." Clawdween said realizing that this guy most likely is a showoff trying to make them fall in love. But she wasn't going to buy it.

"Whatever. Nice costumes, losers. I guess dorks like you just gravitate to each other, huh?" He said now being a jerk to them.

Frankie smirked, "As a matter of fact, we do." Then she went back to normal. "Now if you'll excuse us, we have some dancing to do."

With that, they blow past Max and head towards the gym, where the music is thumping. As each girl passes by Max, he squints and then suspiciously.

"Hmm..."

Soon, Jana, Autumn, and the Monster High girls are breaking it down on the dance floor with students all over the town!

"You normies sure know how to let lose!" Clawdween said happily as she danced.

Frankie spoke next as she was dancing too, "Just don't forget why we're here, ghouls!"

"To party!" Draculaura said happily forgetting about their plan.

"Well, that, but we also have to checkout the old clock tower and see if reliving Clara's memory from her diary lets us contact her. Otherwise, we'll never know why Cyrus and Clara's spirits are heartbroken, and we'll never save all the couples at our schools! Let's go!"

Clawdween looked at something as she said a bit awkwardly and nervous, "It looks like that Max guy wants to follow us. He keeps staring..." She then looked at everyone else. "Actually, everyone's staring!"

"Sorry, ghouls." Cleo said smiling. "That's one me. When I look this good, people just can't help themselves!"

Frankie looked worried and sounded worried too. "No, Cleo, they're staring at all of us!"

Looking around, Jana notice every other student is captivated by the Monster High girls' striking looks!

"If we leave together, we'll be followed!" Frankie said worried.

"And if I know Max, he'll try to interfere. We have to sneak out without anybody noticing." Jana said assuming he would do that.

"We could try to blend in?" Clawdween suggested feeling like there was no option left.

"There's not way ghouls as unique as you could ever blend into the crowd. Besides, blending in never fixes anything." Then Jana got an idea. "I know! Earlier, you ghouls asked us, how do you boo? I think it's everyone else's turn to show how they boo!"

"I get it..." Autumn replied understanding. "a distraction! That will grab everyone's attention and let you sneak out! You guys go ahead. I'll grab some friends who really know how to stand out!" She grinned, "Who's up for a dance-off?!"
