The disciples of Ved Vyas were cooking food, Bheem was helping them. The rest of the Pandavas were also engaged in other activities such as gathering woods and cutting them.

Arjun saw Anaahat carrying a bundle of woods, he instantly went towards her and took it from her hands.

"You go and rest, leave this work to me." Arjun said.

"But I can do it." Anaahat said.

"You have walked a lot today Anaahat, you need rest." Arjun said and walked away.

Anaahat shook her head with a smile and then turned around to leave but saw Bhagwaan Ved Vyas approaching her.

"Pranipat Bhagwan." Anaahat greeted.

"Confused I am now as to what blessing should I give you." Ved Vyas said.

"I didn't understand." Anaahat frowned.

"I would've blessed you with 'Saubhagya' but you already have Arjun. I would've said 'Kalyanamstu' but you have gotten everything auspicious in form of Arjun. I would have said 'Ayushman bhava' but with Arjun here you will have a long and healthy life." Ved Vyas said.

"Lucky I was to get a husband like him." Anaahat agreed.

"Your mind agrees but your heart doesn't. Is it because of your sore ears ?" Ved Vyas asked.

At that Anaahat felt her ears were sore from the heavy earrings, she had forgotten about them when with Arjun.

"Probably bhagwan." Anaahat said.

"Why don't you let go of these ? They are making your ears as well as your soul sore." Ved Vyas said.

"I want to remove these, but I cannot bring myself to. These earrings carry beautiful memories that I cannot let go off." Anaahat said.

"No one is telling you to discard the memories, keep them with you. But don't hold on to them, then you will never have room for other memories probably more beautiful than the earlier ones." Ved Vyas said.

Anaahat didn't say anything and looked down, Ved Vyas smiled sadly at her and then looked at Arjun who was cutting the wood.

"You see Arjun has been so dedicated and devoted to you since the day of your marriage and he will stay like this till the end. Won't you holding on to Karn be injustice to Arjun and his pure love ?" Ved Vyas asked.

Anaahat looked at him and then at Arjun, feeling her gaze he too looked at her and frowned seeing her moist eyes. She looked at Ved Vyas and then nodded, agreeing to his point.

"Think about it Anaahat." Ved Vyas said.

Anaahat joined her hands in front of him and then left, Arjun kept looking at her as she went. He left all work and decided to go behind her.
