Arrêtez

Laurance's P.O.V.

I woke up due to (Y/N)'s stirring and mumbling. I opened my eyes and listened to what she was saying. "Arrêtez. Arrêtez! ARRÊTEZ," she screamed, panting. I quickly shook her awake and she panted, covered in sweat. I let out a sigh as she stared blankly at the bunk above us.

"(Y/N)?" She looked over at me, swallowing the air that her lungs so desperately screamed for.

"Hm?" I looked down at my hands, tempted to ask her a couple things.

"What does Arrêtez mean?" I asked. She looked at me like I just asked her what is zero times zero.

"Why would I know?" She asked.

"You were mumbling it in your sleep."

"Well let's look it up." She grabbed her laptop and looked it up. "It means 'stop' in French."

"What were you dreaming about?" I asked.

"...I uh, I don't know." She bit her lip and stood up, stretching. I stood up and yawned, making (Y/N) yawn, which she glared at me for. "Well thank you!" She sighed sarcastically. I laughed and wrapped my arm around her waist.

"C'mon, that couldn't have bugged you that much!"

"You're right it didn't." She stuck her tongue out at me and rolled my eyes.

Your P.O.V.

I moved out of his arms, feeling more me than I had felt a second ago. I walked out of the room and downstairs to find my mom, as usual, making pancakes for breakfast. I sighed angrily, forgetting we had school. I sat down and a few minutes later Laurance came down in his school uniform. "Well don't you look peppy." I rolled my eyes.

He shook his head. "You're just jealous you don't look as good as me in the uniform."

"Oh, no, I think you enjoy the outfit enough," I teased him, making him blush and sit down next to me.

"You think so?"

"Yep, don't think I didn't notice," I smirked. I noticed my mom silently fangirling as she continued making breakfast.

"Notice what?" He grinned that classic Laurance grin.

"You admiring me."

"How could I not admire your beauty?" He grinned.

"Oh just date already you two!" Zane growled walking downstairs.

"Wow Zane! You're actually up for once!" I exclaimed. He rolled his eyes.

"Obviously." I laughed as he sat down next to me.

"Well I'll go get ready for school!" I ran upstairs leaving Zane with Laurance, hahahahaha! I put on my usual outfit and put my hair up like normal. I rolled up my sleeves and sighed as I brushed my teeth then hesitantly stared at my bottle of antidepressants. I grabbed them and swallowed two then walked back downstairs.

I saw Garroth and Vylad had joined everyone else and I pulled on my shoes. "C'mon boys! If we don't leave now we'll be late for school!" I yelled, putting my bag on. I ushered everyone out the door quickly and we ran down the street, laughing at each other whenever someone fell. I sprinted ahead of everyone else and soon Laurance pulled up right next to me, both of us breathing heavily at the speed we were going.

"You're not going to beat me!" I taunted.

"Oh yeah!? What makes you say that?"

"I'm not at my full speed!" I laughed as I kicked it up a notch, running about five times faster than I was. I turned down another street, the school was in sight and I turned my head just for a split moment to see Laurance pushing himself. I sprinted harder and ignored the cars passing through the street, dodging and jumping over them and came up to the steps about five minutes before school started.

The other three caught up with me, all of the, panting and I breathed normally. "How!?" Laurance gasped. I grinned and walked up the steps, ignoring his question. He followed me up and we walked inside. "So, do you want to hang out again this weekend?"

"Sure." I nodded, smiling.

"Okay do you want to go to the park and maybe vandalize some benches?" I stopped and gave him the 'mom' look. He let out a small laughed. "I'm kidding."

"Yeah sure I'll meet you at the park. What time?"

"Friday sevenish work?"

"Yeah I may be a few minutes late because I'll be coming out of therapy." I answered.

"You're in therapy?"

"Yeah... something like that." I shrugged.

"Cool. I'll talk to you later?"

"Definitely." I nodded. He smiled and slipped a piece of paper in my hand, then leaned in, whispering into my ear.

"Can't wait to see that pretty face of yours in the hallway again." I shivered as his warm breath him my neck. He moved away, grinning and left me standing, paralyzed in the middle of the hallway.

"Ah, there you are baby sister!" Garroth exclaimed, walking over to me. I turned and forced a smile.

"Hey Garroth."

"What are you doing int the hallway all by yourself?"

"Huh?" I looked around, realizing everyone was starting to head off to class. "I was just, um... waiting for you?"

"Oh, okay well let's head to class then." He slung his arm over my shoulder and we walked to class. I sat in the back as usual and pulled out my notebook as everyone continued to socialize. I could practically hear everyone's hearts beating, especially my own.

Why was my heart feeling like it was ready to fly?

I started to mindlessly scribble in my notebook. Over and over again, the pencil traced everything my heart told it to. I eventually snapped out of the sort of trance I was in when the teacher slammed the door shut.

I practically jumped from my seat, but settled down. I sighed, school was one of the "best" parts of my week. I rolled my eyes as the teacher gave a lecture about science heredity or something like that. I looked down and with wide eyes, and warm cheeks I realized what I had written.

I had written Laurance's name repeatedly on the paper.

Why couldn't I stop thinking about him?
