It was only a mission for the father of one of the most feared Assassins, he did not mean to get the woman pregnant, or plan for her leaving the child at his door step with a note cussing him out. He would have taken her to an orphanage but when he saw her, he fell in love with her, he wanted to protect her with all he haves.
As she grow up, he trained her to be able to protect herself. He taught her everything he knows about self defense and more. She was a bright and happy girl, she knew her father was an assassin, but that didn't change a thing at all. She still loved him with all her heart, but as for her mother, the woman who abandoned her, she hated her but she was also thankfully that she gave her to the man who raised her, her papa.
She was able to go to school, where she met her best friends, but sadly she was bullied. Maria often got into fights with her bullies and she got detention because of it. Her father grew tired of all of it, he took her out of the school and homeschooled her. Maria was upset and sad that she had to leave her only friends, not just leaving the school but the country as well. Her father took her back to spain, where she lost him in three years.
She was only 12 when she lost him. She was sent to an orphanage, where she was abused, she has grown to hate everyone and she became an assassin is training. Throughout the time of her training she was taught to never trust, love or befriend anyone. Maria hated that but she lived through it. She became known as DIABLO throughout spain. The greatest assassin in Spain, she had many employers and she was the most feared.
She went on a mission at the age of 14 to kill a man who threatened her employer's daughter. The man already had two assassins after him and now he had another. When she got there, there was a someone dressed in black, with skull earrings, belt, and their face painted like a skull. They had no weapons at all. Maria was thinking, 'how are they going to kill him? They have no weapons.' She watched the person as they grabbed the man's head, some people came to attack the person but they were shot dead. She went out and attacked the other people that the sniper failed to kill, just as the skull person crushed the man's head with their bare hands.
"Heh, that was to easy." Skull, as Maria dubbed the person, stated as they turned to her and the sniper, "Thanks for the help, by the way. Names Skull, I'm an assassin from America." Skull hold her hand out to them, by her voice Maria figured it that Skull was a girl. "Diablo, from Spain." she shook her hand and the other girl smiled. "Collector, from France. Its very nice to meet other assassins." They all laughed lightly as they looked around, Skull was the first to break the silence, " My actual name is Paige." this shocked Maria, Skull just blew her cover, but for what reason? "Marry. I'm Marry. Its nice to meet you, Paige or Skull." For some reason, Maria felt relaxed, happy and calm but why? "Maria, my name is Maria," she smiled, a true smile.
After all that, the three became friends, they always had the others back, they were family. Maria often visited Marry because she was closer and Marry told her about how her and Paige are second cousins. Maria loved the stories Marry told about Paige and herself as children. Maria finally had her happiness back after years of sadness and training. She was not worried about her new friends, they were assassins themselves, they know how to protect themselves.
Still after 2 years, their friendship stayed strong, even thousand miles apart. Another mission, another pay, another victim, that's how they lived. On this mission to kill Daisy Vargas though, she could not fulfil the job, Paige did not try to kill her, Marry missed the headshot on purpose. Maria felt fear for the first time in her life, something was special about Daisy. Paige walked off with Marry and MAria following her, they agreed on something that night. They were willing to work for one person, The Daisy Vargas.
A year went by and Daisy contacted them, asking if they could do something for her. She wanted them to kill someone who betrayed her, she offered money for his head but the three declined it. They said that the would do it for free and if she liked how well the job ended that they would worker for her and only her. Maria liked the idea of working for a powerful woman, since she has only work for perverted males and Daisy was nice to them. After the job was done, Daisy did hire them to work for her. Maria Carriedo was in a mafia with her best friends, who Daisy dubbed the Heart-Break Trio or HBT.
She never once cared for her country but when the time came to help, she was not willing.
