Chapter 2
Amalia ran to her brother, and asked if she could take a small group of guards to Oma Island, to get Yugo back. "Of course not Amalia! He's left, you read his letter. He wishes for you to forget him!" Armond replied
"Armond, stop being shallow for one moment and listen to me! He could be in danger! If you haven't noticed, it's tropical storm season! Every year, near the end of Jullier, a huge tropical storm has hit every coast, and every archipelago! What do you think will happen when a storm hits Oma, and Yugo isn't prepared!" Amalia yelled at Armond
"Amalia. He's made his decision. If he dies. It's his fault."
"You're heartless." Amalia spat "You're no brother of mine!" She shouted as she ran out the door of the throne room

Yugo sat on a small ledge, the swirling gray waters below him rushed around below him "Why'd I think it was a good idea, to disappear during a tropical storm?" Yugo said to himself as he curled into a smaller ball. The churning waters below him, rising higher and higher with every passing moment. He was able to stay above the waters, for now. He feared he wouldn't survive long, the rain outside was continuing to flood Oma, and the cave he sat in. The tree that blocked the entrance, was full of thorns, if he tried to swim through it, and he had, he would be hurt. He knew he was trapped. He knew he was bleeding. He knew, he'd probably never see his friends again. Then he remembered something he'd written in his journal.
"No matter how far you are. No matter how hurt I am. No matter how trapped I might be. No matter the situation. No matter the danger. I will find my way, back to you. I will escape the danger. I will trek across any desert. I will go through the pain. I will find a way, just to see your smile."
He'd written it, for Amalia.
