The most important part of writing a good fanfic is having a good plot. The plot should include a rising conflict, a climax, and a solution that most likely won't be used until the end of the fanfic. A good inspiration for the plots of my stories is roleplay. For example, the plot for my Shining Champions story is a mix of the plot for Bea's Revenge and the plot for Journey Through the World.
