TUTORIAL 3: WOODLAND CREATURE

Hey! I saw -voidallison (she's amazing, also has a cover help book. CHECK IT OUT NOW!) do some silhouette type covers, so I got inspired. This cover was what followed.

STEP ONE

Instead of immediately opening your cover template, you first open a png of your choice, like I did here.

(as you might know, arden cho is my fav forever)

Then, go to tool and adjust. Turn the brightness down to -100 (unless you want your background png to be white) and the contrast up to 100. (this may look a bit horrifying before you're done) Do this until the entire png is completely black.

STEP TWO

Open your template. You don't need to save your black png to your computer, Picsart saves it for you. (you'll see below) Colour the background if you want, I chose this forest green (where do you think I got the title)

Open Add Photo and add in your (unedited) png. Place it where you want it to go, and if needed remove any weird bumps. (like I did below) Make shure to turn hardness all the way up, or else it will look weird. DO NOT LEAVE YET!

STEP THREE

Add the black png to your template, and remove any weird bumps.

Make sure both the pngs are the same size, then place the black one to the side a bit.

Add your title, and you are done!

I hope you enjoyed and learned. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask.

I'm not going to do it, I swear.

Wild luck! I mean GOOD LUCK!
