A vast library right in your pocket!
While Wattpad offers many features for writers, there are also plenty of opportunities for readers to enjoy their experience and immerse themselves in the realm of literature! You can see our deep rundown below, or you may want to find an overview 🔗HERE.

For instance, did you know that you can save your favorite stories? That's right. You can archive all your favorite stories in four different ways.

1) Saving stories in your Library
Your library is a way to keep up with your favorite stories and track all of the stories that interest you. It is private to your account and cannot be seen by anyone else. Furthermore, it makes organizing your favorite stories so much easier since you can sort them by title, author username, recently updated, recently read, or even recently added!

Once you've added a bunch of your favorite stories, it's important to manage them. You may find how to do so 🔗HERE along with tips on how to sort your library.

If you want to remove a story from your library, you can by following the instructions 🔗HERE.

It may happen that you go offline or your internet goes haywire at some point, which means your library might not be fully up to date when you return online. You can easily sync and update your library again by following the instructions 🔗HERE.

As long as you're connected to the internet, Wattpad will periodically re-sync your device, so you do not need to sync or update it manually if you have a strong internet connection!

2) Saving stories in your Archive
If you have a few too many favorite stories you have already read on repeat, you can keep track of stories you've already read by using your archive! Call it an extension of your library, shall we?

Please, note that if the writer updates a story in your Archive, the story will return to your Library, and you will receive a notification about the update. 

3) Saving stories on a reading list
Your third option is 'reading lists', sometimes referred to as RLs! Reading lists are a way to publicly display what you're reading, what stories you love, or what stories are on your radar. These lists are displayed directly on your profile, so other Wattpadders can see what stories they contain.

When you create your Wattpad Account, you already have one default Reading List you can use. You can use that or create an entirely new list. You can see how to create a list 🔗HERE.

Your default reading list will not appear on your profile until you add at least one story to it. To add a story to one of your lists, see how to do that 🔗HERE. 

Stories you add are automatically placed in the order you add them. If you wish to change the arrangement of the stories or perhaps rename or share the list, you can see how to do so 🔗HERE.

Your default reading list is permanent and cannot be deleted. However, you can remove stories from your lists and delete any list that you have created yourself. You can see how to do so 🔗HERE.

4) Saving stories offline
The last way you can save your stories is by saving them offline. These are stories that will download directly to your app so you can read them even when you're not connected to a network. This is only possible on Wattpad's mobile app. Learn more 🔗HERE:

Note that you can only save a set number of offline stories. Paid Stories do not count towards your offline library limit; you are able to have as many Paid Stories offline as you like!

Customize your reading experience!
A wonderful part of e-reading is that one can customize the interface of the book they are reading. Wattpad allows you to do that as well!

There are millions of stories on Wattpad, and thousands more are uploaded every day. That means you'll never run out of something to read, but it can also make finding the exact kind of story you want somewhat difficult.

Support your favorite stories
During your reading time on Wattpad, you will likely come across some really great stories that you like and want to support. Three easy ways you can support the story and the writer are as follow:

1) Commenting
 Commenting on stories, whether sharing your reaction to what's happening or providing detailed feedback, is a wonderful way to let an author know if they're doing a good job with their story.

Many Wattpad authors share their work on Wattpad so they can grow as writers, and constructive comments are extremely welcomed, especially when they are specific and given in a supportive manner. Comments are a Wattpad writer's greatest reward and go a long way in encouraging them to finish their stories, so don't be shy about posting letting them know what you think!

2) Voting
Voting for the chapters of a story you're reading is a great way to let an author know you're enjoying their writing and to show appreciation for the hard work they've put into it.

3) Follow the author
Following the author of a story shows that you really enjoy reading their content and want to read more. By following them, you'll be notified every time they publish a new story, and you'll get any announcements they send out to all of their followers in your newsfeed.
