Chapter 2

(183's POV)

We've been sailing throughout the outside borders of the archipelago for a few days now, underneath the queens orders to find those Nightfuries and bring them in for killing and training to use their weaknesses against them. So far, we've found nothing from either and we have only eight more days before we have to return back to Berk to report what we have to our queen. If we don't find something soon, the queen will throw a really big threat our way and send us back out again.

"How are we gonna find anything out here through this stupid fog anyway? These dragons could blend in easily through this fog and could be there or there. Oh and did I mention, THAT THIS IS A TERRIBLE IDEA?!?!?!" 576 shouts out loud in anger.

"Well if you want to tell that to the queen then be my guest!!" I yell back at him in anger before storming off towards the bow of the deck to keep away from the gang while watching for any incoming dragon shadows.

Our queen was evil, I'll go far as admitting that, but she is the ruler and we must do what she tells us to do. It's been hard since 911 and 490 came back without any results on 585, but the queen ordered them to move on. She would've arrested them and placed them in jail for disobeying orders, but the village counsel said that 490 was the best blacksmith in town and was known as the only one. With that reason in mind, our queen gave them a 2 year probation and would triple it to 8 if they broke any rules or complained. Everyone was relieved of that but partly grieved over 585's death. All except the queen that is. She didn't grieve at all but was very happy over 585 being gone. For me, it was confusing me how much it pained me a little to know that 585 was gone and tugged at my heart a little every time I thought of her.

"183, our source has arrived," said 113 nervously as our good friend Johann arrived on deck.

"Johann, great to see you again at this time of night. Thanks for stopping by so quickly on your travels around the archipelago," I say gratefully to him because his information is always valuable to us that could help save our skins from the queen.

"Any time Mr. 183. But for this business I would recommend that you stay away from a dangerous dragon clan at all cost," whimpered Johann as he looked around the fog to see if there were any dragons around to swoop in and take him away.

"What are you talking about? Isn't there supposed to be a Nightfury clan that is here?" I ask him confused as well as the rest of the group, who had stopped what they were doing and came closer towards us to hear Johann's story and news.

"Yes, there is but it's nothing like any other clan because it also includes dragons that are not of their species and a human that looks exactly like a dragon but has the form and grace of a human woman or something like that. Basically it's hard to tell the gender due to the buffy armor this human/dragon warrior wears," Johann states in a fearful tone before turning it into another one of his full of fun facts stories.

"Wait. A human that looks like a dragon but has the form of a human? That's not possible," breathes 113 in awe.

"Actually, it can be possible my fine fellow friend," states 110 in a smug tone.

"Oh really?" 576 asks before continuing, "How?"

"Why not ask the humanoid dragon behind you?" 111 asks in a sarcastic and laughing tone along with her brother.

I turn to see a human-like dragon-like form standing on top of one of our crates staring down at us. We couldn't see the form's face due to a mask that looked like a Nightfury with small spines heading towards the back of its skull and slit-like eye holes that concealed its eyes as well as the mask covering up the entire face. However, we could see some exposed skin on the ears and could tell that it had pale skin but that's it. The form stared down at us before backing up a bit and doing a high back-flip off the crate and landing on a black as night dragon, that we didn't see there before, before they took off into the night sky.

"Wow. That was awesome," 111 said dreamily.

"I know. That person looked dragon-like but stood on its own two feet as if it were human," 110 replied back in agreement with his sister in happiness and awe.

"Johann, is there anything else about this person/dragon that we should know about?" I ask the trader turning to face him forward on.

"Unfortunately yes, there is something else you should know about this person. This person attacks dragon trappers that work for Drago Bloodvist or those that don't work for him. Either way this person/dragon is a type of vigilante that can easily defeat a Viking three times its size with its marvelous weapons that have never been seen before in all my years," Johann states in a fearful tone.

"What kind of weapons, if I may ask Johann?" I ask him suspicious about this vigilante.

"Well, this person/dragon has a flaming sword, a bow and a quiver of arrows slung around the waist, a horn that the figure uses to call its dragons down as if they were its friends or family, and a few daggers. That's about all that I know so far about this figure, so please do yourselves a favor and avoid that clan because they don't hesitate in taking down whoever threatens their own," Johann replies in a wavering, unnerving tone.

"Thanks Johann, but our queen wants a Nightfury to use it to find out the clans weaknesses and then kill it afterwards when it has proven out its usefulness. Once we find them out, that is when our queen shall lay an attack on all the Nightfuries with the promise to make them extinct after making her lose the battle she had with the Skrills. If they have a human on their side and is much stronger than all of us combined, then we are going to have to come up with a new plan while out at seas to lure at least one Nightfury into our clutches if we wanna save our skins," I explain to him regretfully before I begin pacing up and down the deck in front of the group.

(3rd person POV)

Unknown to the Vikings, Blinker had stayed behind to overhear the whole thing. It was all part of Hiccup's plan. To let them know that she is everywhere just to scare the information out of them, then leave as if she didn't care of what they said and had all the information she needed, while Blinker stayed behind to see what else she can uncover. I must report this back to both Hiccup and Blackwind, Blinker thought to herself as she recoiled with horror at what these Vikings would do to an unfortunate Nightfury just to get information out of it.

She carefully let go of the edge of the boat and silently flapped her wings once before flying upwards towards the sky with a screech making everyone on that boat cry out in fear. "Not so tough now, are ya you stupid Vikings," Blinker asked them rhetorically from above the clouds as she flew towards the rendezvous spot Hiccup told her to go to.

When she arrived, Hiccup was pacing frantically waiting for Blinker's return while Toothless took a little nap glad to be away from hatchling sitting for a while. "Hiccup, I have some horrible news that must be taken to Blackwind immediately. Everything is at risk right now,"  Blinker stated to her best friend/sister in a scared tone.

"All right then, we must go and hurry if we want to make it back before the moon goes down," Hiccup states with determination before she hops onto her foster father and they both take off into the air to warn her leader of the danger that awaited her adopted clan.

Sorry if it's short but next chapter will be longer. Enjoy!
