This is about Hiccup being drunk and everyone finding out he is not to be messed with.

The feast is in full swing! Hiccup sitting by himself in a corner as he listens to everything around him, downing his 4th beer that night. Unlike everyone around him who drank, he's more tipsy than a flushed mess, as they can't control their drink. He's lost count the nights he's drank himself to sleep, crying as his life is horrible. Toothless helped by becoming his new mother, fussing over him and making sure he's okay.

Snotlout is sober but somehow acting like he was drunk, yelling and becoming increasingly annoying to those around him. His behaviour getting worse and Stoik starting to regret making him his heir, his irrational behaviour making it a worse and worse discussion.

Hiccup found that his violent habits came through when he was tipsy, as well as his bottled up emotions. He doesn't always have control of it and tries to do his best to not hurt anyone, but when he's triggered it is very difficult. He is finding it hard to hold himself back with Snotlout's horrible shouting. He sighs heavily and drinks another beer. Stoik didn't know about what happened to Hiccup of course, too blinded by his duties to even try to use his power to protect Hiccup, Gobber the only person who is a parent figure to him. Hiccup looks at Gobber, his dark eyes warning his adoptive father about his mood and Gobber goes to warn anyone sober.

That sober (minus Snotlout) notice Hiccup playing with his knife, guessing that it was wise not to bother him, this is reinforced by Gober's warning. Astrid sees and sighs, she knows that Hiccup holds in a lot of his emotions and she easily guesses that drink lets out his anger.

Snotlout is representing Berk as its future heir, a decision that many had advised Stoik against choosing Snotlout for the heir. They never liked how they used to treat Hiccup, always helping when they can, they accept Toothless as another member of the village as they see how much better Hiccup is with Toothless in his life as a mother. Hiccup may be physically weak but he knew when to shut up and was a person to not have an ego under any circumstance. Now Snotlout was another story, he was the most egotistic person you could ever meet, loud and attention hungry, it is why he hurt Hiccup.

"Hey fishbone!! Go kill yourself!!" Some heirs visiting laugh while others wince at horrible words.

Hiccup stops messing with his knife, everyone staring at him, wondering what he'll do. A small smirk grows on his face and slowly stands up, looking at Snotlout. He moves his hand and suddenly throws his knife at Snotlout.

Snotlout falls silent as he watches Hiccup, being so eerily calm. The knife flies past his face in a blur, his hair flapping against his face. A thin cut began to bleed on his cheek, not even a thread width. Snotlout stares at Hiccup with fear, pale, the hall completely silent and Hiccup lowers his hand.

"There's more where that came from, piss face. Now about you do us all a favour. And shut up."

His voice was low and dangerous, somehow being heard by everyone.

"Hiccup! What was that for!?" Stoik was shocked at his son's behaviour, he has never seen Hiccup act like this, he's always been silent and runs from fights. Hiccup doesn't say anything and walks out. Eret raised an eyebrow at this, maybe he is as good at fighting as he was at his aim.

Everyone (most) is stunned, Hiccup never really let his emotions show. Not mention the fact he had good as hell aim. Snotlout faints from shock. While Stoik got to waking him up, the other heirs glance at each other and start talking to each other in hushed voices.

Time skipy called Henry

Hiccup is working in the forge when Astrid comes in the next morning. "Nice stunt last night, drink working?"

He looks up and stops working. "Yes, I wanted to punch Snotlout a couple times but it came out as that."

"Where did you learn that?"

"A friend."

Toothless taught Hiccup basic survival skills and some other skills, some of the things that Hiccup uses to create a better life for himself.

Astrid smirks. "Well you what? I found it hot."

She pins him on the wall, Hiccup raises an eyebrow at this, pushing her away gently.

"Being assertive isn't attractive to me Astrid, you know this." She laughs and smiles.
