A small boy was headed toward the forge. when he opens the door, a monstrous nightmare that was passing by, greeted the boy without anyone noticed.

All the dragons that were passing him greeted him as well. Most people will only hear a growl, but Hiccup could understand what they were saying, unlike everyone else in the town of Berk.

Berk, a place where vikings and dragons are at war. Hiccup was the only one that didn't kill the dragons, and would rather be in the forge.

Ever since Valka, Hiccups mother, was kidnapped by a dragon, his father, Stoick the Vast, started ignoring his son after he became 5 years old. ever since Hiccup has more time to be with his dragon Toothless Darkfire the night fury.

After the raid was over, Hiccup went to the forest from the backdoor of his house and he flew with Toothless away from Berk. suddenly, a Stormcutter came out of the clouds and someone was on it's back.

"prince and his dragon? What are you two doing here when you should be at home?" Asked the Stormcutter while tilting its head in a questioning way.

"Uh... who are you? And what is it you want?" Hiccup asked after a little while of starring with awe at the big owllike dragon(author note: the Stormcutter is like a big owl so don't complain and bear with me).

Toothless was growling at the rider, but he heard "don't you dear try to come near my friend or you will get fryed". Hiccup wanted to facepalm himself, but couldn't do it or the stranger will get suspicious.

The stranger motioned with its hand to follow and flew to a dragon century. Hiccup had no choice but to follow her.

when they got there, all the dragons bowed for both Hiccup and Toothless. Hiccup explored the place when he saw a giant dragon laying in the waters.

Toothless had told Hiccup about this dragon and it was called the Bewilderbeast. it was truly a magnificent sight.

"Who dose we have here? Oh..the prince of all the dragons and his soon to be an alpha dragon. I am honored to meet you two. I know that you know that you're the prince of dragons, and when you turn 20, I will either send some dragons to get you here or you two will come here on your own here." The Bewilderbeast said.

"If I may, then can I trust you two in defeating the dragon queen on your own for me? You will get some dragons here as well, so do you accept the challenge, prince?" He asked after bowing a little in respect to Hiccup and Toothless.

"I accept this challenge" hiccup responded in a low voice so only the dragons will hear him. "When you are ready, come to me and I will borrow you some dragons." The Bewilderbeast responded and let the dragon and his rider leave.

When hiccup got home, he found his father sitting beside the fire. he tried to sneak up the staircase, but his father heard him.

"Hiccup? I want to talk to you son...i think its time for you to learn how to kill a dragon son, so you are going to dragon training tomorrow morning." Stoick said as he sits up and looks at his child's reaction, but Hiccup just nodded his head and left to sleep.

he was too tired to listen so he just went to sleep and the next morning, he left to the 'killing ring' as they call it.
