Chapter Six
Chapter Six
I opened my eyes to a clear blue sky. Pristine white sand tickled my face as I laid there, wondering what I was doing here. Moaning, I struggled to sit up, trying not to fall back down from the headache. Looking around, I saw the vast ocean before me and a looming forest behind me. Suddenly, from the forest, I heard the sound of a twig snap. Whipping my head towards the noise, I prepared myself for any attacks, holding a wooden stick in my hands. Out of the forest walked out a boy with auburn hair and forest green eyes about my age. He hesitantly walked towards me, and I slowly backed away. "It's ok. I won't hurt you." the boy said soothingly. I stopped backing away from him. "Who are you?" he questioned me. I wracked my brain, trying to remember who I am, but failed to do so. "I don't know." I replied back at him. "Then, do you at least know your name?" he questioned me again. I thought hard about this, and a name popped into my head. "Astrid. My name is Astrid Hofferson."

Mud splattered all over me when I landed in a pool of mud. Well, at least it wasn't the ground, I thought as I made my way out of the mud.
I reached my hands to pat off all the dirtiness on my clothes, but when I looked down, there wasn't any mud. I also noticed that instead of my regular clothes, I wore a silverish-white dress.
What? Where am I? I looked at the surroundings around me, trying to find something that looked familiar, but nothing was. As I turned around, a person came running towards me. He was looking back at something, not noticing me.
I tried to step aside to let him through, but I was stuck firmly there. The boy was now close enough for me to take note of his auburn hair and forest green eyes. He still was unaware I was in his way, so I prepared for him to collide into me.
I winced when he finally bumped into me, then realized it didn't hurt. Confused yet grateful, I looked back up, only to see no one there.
I heard footsteps resounding behind me, and I turned to see the same boy running away from me. Did he...go through me? I decided to try it myself, so I walked into a tree. Unsurprisingly, I walked through the trunk to the other side of the tree. Awesome.
I turned around when I heard a voice coming from the same way the boy had come. "Hicc, wait up!" the person, a girl, called out. She seemed to be panting heavily, with her loose blonde braid trailing behind her. Her sapphire blue eyes were wide as she struggled to catch up to the boy.
When the girl disappeared down the road, I walked out from behind the tree I went through. Now that I think about it, the boy and the girl seems familiar, like I've seen them some where before.
Suddenly, the gentle breeze that had surrounded me picked up into a strong blast of wind. I shrieked as the wind lifted me off the ground into the air as I slowly lost consciousness.

I gasped out loud from the shock of being lifted into the air. Panting, I looked around, only to see the inside of my room. Sighing, I slowly started to slink back into the warmth of my blanket, when I heard a nearly audible snore coming from beside me.
"Ack!" I blurted out loud, surprised to see Hiccup sleeping in a chair beside my bed. He began to stir in his sleep, probably because of my shriek. He stretched out his arms as he opened his eyes.
"Hi." I said, making Hiccup jump in his seat. "Astrid! Thank Thor you're awake! I was so worried!" he yelled out, pulling me into a hug.
"What happened?" I asked when we pulled away. His forest green eyes met my sapphire ones as he started to tell me.
"Well, I was flying on Toothless heading back to Berk when I saw something there in the village." Hiccup began to say. I nodded, urging him to continue. "When I flew closer, I found out that it was you, blacked out on the ground. I carried you to your room, and took care of you." he finished saying.
"Oh, wow. I di-" I started to say, but Hiccup interrupted me. "I was really worried, you know. You didn't wake up for a week!"
"What?!" I shouted. I pushed myself off the bed, passing a surprised-looking Hiccup. "Wait, where are you going!" he yelled out.
"To find Stormfly! I left her out there when I fainted!" I answered worriedly. Hiccup grabbed my wrist before I could get out of the door. "Stormfly's safe right now. She's with Toothless at this moment." he assured me.
I sighed, and slumped back down onto the bed. "I think you should get some more rest." Hiccup said to me. I looked up at him. "Alright." I told him.
I slipped back under the covers, sinking into the comfortness of my bed. "Sweet dreams." Hiccup softly whispered as he kissed me on the forehead.
The door closed with a soft thud after Hiccup walked out, and soon, the world turned black once again.
