"Wait! Hicc, you're running too fast!" I yelled out as I stumbled over a tree root. He was becoming smaller and smaller the farther away he was. He disappeared entirely when I tripped over a bunch of wild grass. As I struggled to stand up, I thought back to the events that lead to what was happening right now...

Morning of April 15, Netherland: The Arena

"So, what do you want to do today?" Hicc asked me as we walked into my island's arena at the edge of a cliff. We villagers don't use the arena much; just once or twice for our yearly games.

"Right now, I don't know yet." I replied back. We continued to walk until we reached the middle.

Hicc and I both collapsed to the ground at the same time, laying on the ground on our backs. For the first few weeks of getting to know each other, we found out that we both love to go on adventures. So from that day on, we always go to the arena first thing in the morning to discuss about what we were going to do that day. It isn't anything unusual; it's just two friends that crave for something more in their life.

When I looked to the side, I was met with a pair of forest green eyes staring at me. Hicc let out a soft chuckle as he began to say something. I focused intently to hear what he was saying.

"You know, I don't really have friends back at Berk. You're the first person who actually noticed me for who I am." he said to me. I smiled as I turned my head back to its original position, happy that I wasn't the only one in the world to feel that way. "Same here." I said back at him, looking up at the clouds in the turquoise blue sky.

All of a sudden, a dark blur crossed the sky, blanketing the middle of the arena with a black shadow. The blur headed towards the Nether Forest, and vanished among the trees.

"Did you see that?!" I exclaimed sitting up, gesturing towards the sky. Hicc also sat up, giving me a questioning glance. "See what?"

"I pointed towards the forest, saying, "Something landed in there." Hicc suddenly jumped up from his position. "It could be a dragon! And you know what that means?" Hicc exclaimed in excitement. I shook my head frantically, hoping he isn't going to say what he is going to say. "It is what we're going to do today!" he yelled out excitedly. (I was going to let Hicc say, "It's adventure time!" XD)

"Ugh, fine." I said grumpily. Although it didn't seem like I want to go, it wasn't the truth. The truth was that I was just as excited as Hicc was. But I don't show it, for that was how I lived my life through the years of bullying. 'Never show emotion; it brings more miserableness.' I guess it just stuck with me.

Hicc began to run out of the arena, yelling at me to hurry up. Letting a smile peep through my facade just for a second, I ran after him.
