Hey guys! So, I got the new wattpad update. I'm not sure exactly how I feel about it. It's nice, but I think I like the other version better. It might just be that I'm a picky girl, or it could actually have something to do with the update. I'm not totally sure.

Anyway, sorry for that random topic. Now, let's get on with the chapter!

Cynthia's POV

As we flew past the villagers, we heard each of them cheering. I narrowed my eyes in concentration as I saw Drago standing on the alpha.

"Take control of them!" Drago yelled, pointing his staff at skymist and toothless.

I noticed skymist's ears vibrating again, and looked over to see hiccup place his hands over them. I looked down at skymist, and did the same for skymist.

"Block it out, girl. I know you can." I say.

"Stop them!" Drago exclaimed, glaring at us.

"Now!" Hiccup yelled, and pulled a small lever on toothless' saddle.

Skymist shot a plasma blast at Drago as we passed him. I looked down at them to see Hiccup flying with his flight suit towards drago. He passed him, but this little container he had started spewing zippleback gas. Then suddenly the gas all exploded, sending Drago tumbling off of the alpha.

I looked up to see toothless no longer wearing his blindfold, and I smiled. Skymist purred, and shook her blindfold off.

"Not again." I heard Hiccup say.

I looked to see him headed straight for the alpha's tail, still gliding solo. My eyes widen.

"Toothless! It's now or never!" Hiccup yelled.

I looked to see toothless bring out his spikes that valka taught him, and fly under hiccup.

"Come on bud!" He exclaimed, placing his feet in the foot holders.

I bit my lip, "no. I'm not going through this again." I say, and fly towards them.

Skymist ends up flying up after them, next to the alpha's tail. Luckily Hiccup and toothless fly out of the tails range before it collapsed.

"Yeah! We did it!" Hiccup yelled, and then toothless started to free-fall.

I let out a huge sigh of relief, and skymist followed toothless over to where drago still lay.

Hiccup and I got off our dragons, and hiccup pulled out that little container again. He pressed a button, and this flaming sword ejected from the top.

Drago sat up, and reached for his little staff, until Hiccup threw the sword towards him. The sword implanted itself in the ground just in front of drago's hands. He let out a cry of pain, bringing his hand back away from the sword.

"Hold him there toothless." Hiccup ordered, and began fixing his suit.

"It's all over now." I say, placing my hand on my hip.

"Or is it?" Drago smirked.

I looked at him, confused. I saw Hiccup turn around, and he let out a stutter. I turn around as well to see the alpha charging up a blast of ice.

I was about to step in front of Hiccup when the alpha shot the ice.

Hiccup quickly pushed me away from him, and a blur of black scale and blue ice blinded me.

I landed on the ground roughly. I push myself up into a seating position to see the ice had barely missed my foot.

I look up at the ice, and my eyes widen as I realize that Hiccup wasn't anywhere to be seen.

"Hiccup!" I exclaim, getting to my feet.

I rush to a piece of ice, and start slamming my fists on the ice.

"No! Hiccup! Please! N-no." I say, my voice getting quieter as I pounded on the ice.

I hear a dragon land behind me, and Valka's strained voice, but didn't turn around. I lean my head against the ice, ignoring the cold.

"P-please, n-no." I say, looking at the ice as if it was looking back at me.

Suddenly, the middle of the ice started to glow a bright blue color. If you listened closely, you could hear a night fury pitch, growing higher and higher in frequency each passing second.

I felt hands place themselves on my shoulders, pulling me away from the ice. I glanced behind me to see valka, then went back to watching the ice with wide eyes.

Then the next thing I know, the ice explodes. I cover my head, looking away.

I look back, and see a glowing toothless. My eyes widen, as did everyone else's as he let out a loud roar at the alpha.

I saw him turn to his wing, and smile. Then he jumped up onto an ice ledge, and hissed at the alpha. I saw hiccup standing up where toothless was just standing.

A smile grew on my face, and I ran over to him. I hug him tightly, closing my eyes. He hugged back, but after a second, we both pulled away.

We looked to see toothless roar again at the alpha, and the alpha roar back.

"He's challenging the alpha!" Hiccup exclaimed.

"To protect you!" valka smiled.

We all watched in awe as toothless bravely shot plasma blasts at the alpha, who only roared back.

The dragons that the alpha had taken control of began to snap out of it. Toothless jumped back down beside hiccup, valka and I, and roared loudly.

The dragons behind the alpha started flying over on our side, and I grinned widely.

"No no no no! Fight back! Fight! Fight!" Drago screamed, getting back on the alpha's tusk.

All the Vikings of Berk started to gather together, and I placed my hand on skymist's head.

"What's the matter with you?!" Drago asked the alpha.

Hiccup hopped on toothless, and I backed up till I was in line with the other villagers.

Hiccup flew toothless up to another ice spike, and motioned to the dragons that were now in an army like line in the air behind him.

"Now do you get it? This is what it is, to earn a dragons loyalty." Hiccup exclaimed, turning back to drago, who looked very conflicted.

"Let this end, now!" Hiccup said, dropping his hand.

Drago glared at him, "never! Come on!" He said, and the alpha started advancing.

Toothless lowered his head, still glaring at drago, and growled.

I looked to the spot next to me to see skymist charging up a blast. I looked above me to see the rest of the dragons charging up blasts as well.

Toothless let loose one plasma blast before the rest of the dragons started spewing fireballs towards the alpha. A large cloud of smoke surrounded the alpha, making it impossible to see what was happening to drago.

Once the smoke cleared, the alpha opened his mouth wide, as did toothless. Before the alpha could do anything, toothless shot out a huge blast, bigger then I thought possible.

The alpha let out a loud roar, and then it's tusk fell to the ground.

I winced slightly, backing up half a step.

Toothless roared loudly for about a minute before giving the alpha a death glare. The alpha whimpered, looking down.

"The alpha protects them all." Hiccup said, placing a hand on toothless's head.

The alpha then retreated into the water, bringing Drago with him.

My eyes widen slightly, but before I can do anything, Hiccup lands next to me on toothless.

As soon as he hopped off of toothless' saddle, I wrapped my arms around him in a hug.

"You giant idiot." I say, hugging him tightly.

He hugged back, "Are you alright?" He asked.

I smiled, "We just defeated the alpha! Of course I'm alright!" I laugh, pulling away.

He smiled slightly back, before frowning, "Cynthia, I am so sorry...I don't know why I said what I did, I was just-"

I cut him off by placing my lips on his. He kisses back, and I pull away after a minute.

"I understand." I smile at him.

He smiles back, and then looked slightly nervous, "I love you.."

My smile widens, "I love you too." I say, before kissing him again.

Wow. I'm only one chapter away from the ending...I can't believe how far this series is coming...at first I didn't even think that my books would become popular, but boy, you guys proved me wrong.
