Sorry to tag you guys, here's the story of the truth exposed while, Nick saving Poppy from an animal in the arena. Take a guess from the animal that Poppy fighting from the arena was a moving a 2010 one came out since Httyd first came out in 2010 was about wolves. Take a guess after reading it.
Here's the story now,

At the Arena.
Poppy has her weapon
Ready to fight the animal. That she doesn't wanted to disappoint him.
Satin, Chenille, Guy Diamond, Smidge, Suki, Cooper and Biggie watching her.
"I knew her! She's my friend!" Biggie exclaimed.

"Our friend Biggie," Smidge replied annoyed, as the snack pack cheered eating snacks and popcorn while the Bergens holding signs to say.
'Kill Animals' 'Die wildlife'.
Poppy was putting on her breastplate, helmet, axe and shield.
She sighed gonna do it or die trying. She always think about her companion.
She doesn't want anything happened to him.

Branch went up to hear fearing that it would be a suicide attempt or no way back.

"You don't have to go out there you know?..." Branch said.

"I have know choice. If I don't at least try to tell them the truth who will?"

"There has to be another way to do this." Branch thinking trying to find a way.

"There is no other way, no matter how much I wish there was. Branch if things go wrong and I don't make it out of this. Make sure they don't find Nick." Poppy said.
"I will, but promise me things won't go wrong." Branch said.

"I can't promise that."
"It's time Poppy!"
Gristle jr said sipping his drink went up to them. "Knock them dead."
"It's not the dragon I fear is going to get knocked dead."

Poppy said to herself as she walked into the arena to a roar of applause. Poppy walked to the weapons cart and took a shield and the least intimidating weapon she saw,

a small knife, hoping that a non intimidating weapon would make whatever animal came from that gate less likely to attack her.
His weapon chosen Branch took a deep sigh and turned to Peppy "I'm ready." Gristle  opened the cage and out came running the animal Poppy wanted to go up against the least, a Omega Wolf.

"Oh dear." Poppy gulped. Large omega wolf were among the most dangerous knows species of dragons, considering that they could light themselves of fire. Even experienced animal killers  feared going up against these things. Seeing that wolf with eyes glowing gold in rage only increased Poppy's fear of getting herself killed.

"Go on Poppy, give it to him!" Poppy heard Peppy cheer from the crowd. Poppy stayed put though and took a deep breath, it was now or never. As the tiger  walked up to her she set down her knife and his shield and put both his hands out in a non threatening manner.

"It's okay." Poppy whispered

"What's she doing?" Peppy asked

"It's okay," Poppy ensured again, she then took off her helmet, tossed it to the side and ripped off her breastplate, leaving herself completely defenseless. "I'm not one of them."

Everybody gasped when she heard that. Gristle spit out his drink and started coughing "WHAT!"
"Stop the fight," Peppy ordered.

"No!" Poppy replied "I need you all to see this." Poppy put one hand up to the Omega wolf's snout "They are not what we think they are. We do not have to kill them."

"I said stop the fight!" Peppy screamed. The loudness of Peppy's voice startled the Wolf and he instantly, growls snarling trying to chomp Poppy causing her to run for cover screaming.

To forest Nick sense of Poppy's screams waking up knowing she's in trouble.

"Pinkies?!" He ran fasts fearing for his masters danger. He leaped fast as he could to Bergen town before it's too late.

At the arena.

"Poppy!" Branch  screamed running.
Get out of my way." Peppy ordered running towards the gates entrance.

"Poppy! Run for it!"

"No!" Poppy screamed hiding behind the weapons cart "They need to all understand!"

Branch grabbed his ax and propped open the gates. Poppy needed help and if she wouldn't defend herself then he would. He picked up a hammer and threw it at the Omega. Big mistake cause now the Omega wolf noticed and started to target him.

"This way!" Peppy screamed as he finished opening the gate. Branch ran for the exits, but before Poppy could escape the wolf cornered her and pinned her to the ground.

Poppy stared at the wolf's blue eyes in horror thinking this was indeed her end, but before the animal could kill her they all heard the fox snarling. Everybody turned and Poppy's  eyes widened in shock as Nick breaks  through the arena gates with his strength and tackled the Omega wolf.

At first nobody could see what was happening as the arena was covered in smoke. But as the smoke cleared everybody gasped and screamed at the sight of Nick  attacking the wolf.

"Red fox!" Gristle jr.  gasped

Omega pinned itself on top of Nick but Nick bit it's leg forcing the omega  off of him, he then placed himself in between the Omega and Poppy, refusing to let the Omega near it. With a loud snarl and growling Nick showed the omega his dominance and the omega backed off the attack.

"Nick you got to get out here." Poppy ordered once the omega returned to the cage. Nick didn't have any time to flee because soon half the arena stormed into the gates, pulled Poppy away and pinned Nick onto the floor.

"No please he won't harm you," Poppy pleaded. Nick whipped his tail and shook some of the trolls and Bergens off of him, but soon more came in and replaced them, overpowering him.

"No!" Her then saw Peppy approaching Nick with a ax and a strong urge to save her dragon came in.

She broke loose of the troll holding her back and placed herself in front of Nick just as Peppy started to lower his ax. He quickly stopped him swing when Poppy jumped in front of the animal.

"Dad please don't hurt him."

"Get out of the way Poppy!" Peppy orderd.

"No, if you kill this animal, you kill your daughter too!" Peppy didn't understand Poppy's  sudden obsession to protect this fox.
But she had him in a no choice situation. As mad as she was with his daughter he couldn't kill her, so he put down his ax and turned to Gristle jr.

"Put it with the others." Gristle jr. then ordered the trolls and Bergens holding Nick to drag him to the cages.
"No wait!" Poppy was trying to stop them suddenly Branch pulled her away from them before Peppy picked
Poppy off the ground and stared at her with the scariest eyes she had ever witnessed come from him. "You and I are going to have a serious talk young lady!"
Peppy then dragged Poppy off. Poppy's friends could only watch from the arena seats as both Nick and Poppy were dragged off in separate directions, powerless to do anything about it.
Here's my story I'll try updating it more, sorry I haven't been updating because writers block.
Okay I'll get it updating it. Thank you for reading it. It feels like I abandoned my stories but I'll update it!
