The end

Rapunzel saw they had lost and held Hiccup as Drago and his entire army flew away to attack her home. Crying, she held her love and wished she could have done something.

"Flower, gleam and glow. Let your power shine." She starts singing and was trying to at least help herself as there was nothing her hair could do now. "Make the clock reverse. Bring back what once was mine...Heal what has been hurt. Change the fate's what has been lost. Bring back what once was mine...what once was mine..."

A tear then fell off her cheek and found its way down onto Hiccup. She can't see, but the tear began to glow, turn into the shape of the sun, and sinks into his skin. The wound begins to glow, and Rapunzel looks up to see it healing up.

Valka looked in shock as color returned to Hiccup's body and he coughs. Rapunzel stares at him intently until he slowly opens his eyes to look at her.

"Huh..." Hiccup commented as he looked at Rapunzel's brown hair. "You know, you look good with brown hair."

Rapunzel then pulled him into a hug and cried tears of joy this time. "You're okay!"

"As much as I can be..." Hiccup groaned, his wound healed but the pain was still there.

"I'm glad you're okay." Valka sighed as she kneeled to feel his wound and see it did completely heal. "But something tells me you forgot to tell me something."

Hiccup and Rapunzel looked at one another, realizing she was never told. They never informed Valka that Rapunzel's

"Did we forget to mention that Rapunzel's hair had healing properties?" Hiccup asked his mother.

"Yes," Valka stated.

"Sorry," Rapunzel said, playing with her shortened hair. Luckily it reached her knees, so she could still use it as a comforter. "Guess it slipped our mind."

"We can worry about that later." Hiccup stated as he got up and walked over to the ocean. "We have a kingdom to save."

Rapunzel got worried and walked over to her husband. "How do you plan on that?"

"Easy...we fly." Hiccup stated, Rapunzel seeing he already had a plan.

Just a few minutes later, the three of them are soon enough flying on the baby Scuttleclaws. They were left behind after Drago's raid due to them not listening and they were flying their way through the glacier. At least, they were trying to fly them. But it was increasingly difficult due to the fact the babies rarely listened to their directions.

"Whoa!" Rapunzel cried as she tried to pilot the dragon. "This is extremely difficult."

"So, what's your plan?" Valka asked as she flew over to her son.

"Get to Corona, getting Toothless back, and then I'm gonna kick Drago's-" Hiccup explains as a wall cuts off his wording and they make their way out.

The family made their way back to Corona, they saw when they arrived the Alpha was standing over the entire kingdom that had already been blasted with frost.

"We might be too late," Valka said in worry.

"No." Hiccup denied that statement. "I need you guys to get to the land and get the people safe."

"Good luck!" Rapunzel stated as she and his mother flew off.

Drago looked over Corona as the Alpha was snarling, looking around for any signs of life. When he noticed Hiccup approaching, he snarled and noticed he couldn't control his dragon.

"You certainly are hard to get rid of, I'll say that." Drago comments on him.

"Toothless...Hey. It's me, bud. It's me. I'm right here, bud." Hiccup tells his dragon. "Come back to me."

Drago chuckles at his attempts. "He's not yours anymore. He belongs to the alpha. But, please, O Great Dragon Rider, try to take him. He will not miss a second time."

"Listen to me, Toothless. This isn't you." Hiccup tried to snap Toothless back to his senses and raised his hand to him. "This isn't who you are." He then started to reach out to touch his face.

Hiccup watched as Toothless' iris was going from slits to their cat look. The alpha's control was weakening, but it still had a grasp on Toothless. This means that the others were working as they kept blowing the horn and shooting sheep to annoy the alpha.

"You'd never hurt me," Hiccup says as he places his palm to the dragon's head as he's snapping free. "You're my friend."

"How are you doing that?" Drago asks Hiccup, shocked to see that somehow this was working.

"Please. You are my best friend." Hiccup begs and Toothless breaks free from its control and cheers in victory. "Attaboy! That's it! I'm here."

"Enough!" Drago yells and goes to hit Toothless when he grabs the stick using his mouth and throws him off.

"Yeah!" Hiccup cheers and Toothless gave a gummy smile when he starts to fall with nobody helping him fly. Hiccup noticed this and leaps off Sisu to rescue him. "Hang on!"

The three start to fall as Drago lands on the alpha while Hiccup got onto Toothless, and they fly off.

"Do something!" Drago tells the alpha.

"We need to get those two apart." Hiccup tells Toothless who agrees as they grab a piece of cloth before the alpha starts shooting blasts of ice at them.

"We gotta block him out. Do you trust me?" Hiccup asks and the Fury does. Hiccup then covers his dragon's eyes and ears. "We can do this. Together."

The two of them then flew back as the sun started to rise, and the people saw their hope return as Hiccup flew towards the dragon. They cheered and

"Take control of them!" Drago yells at his alpha and nothing happens.

"Now!" Hiccup tells Toothless when the alpha sends a blast their way and they dodge, and the dragon flew up above where Drago sees the rider is missing.

Drago turns and sees Hiccup using the flight suit as he flies past, and Hiccup used his Inferno sword to release Zippleback gas and then ignites it to send Drago flying and landing on the ground.

Hiccup saw he accomplished his goal when he looked and see he was about time hit by the tail. "Oh, not again!" He then looked to see his dragon a bit far away. "Toothless, it's now or never!"

Toothless then activated the scales that Valka unveiled to him to reach him, and they escape just in time. As they flew around, they noticed Drago reach for the staff. Hiccup flew down and lights up Inferno before he throws it to stop him. Just before Drago could grab his staff, Hiccup's sword stops and burns him.

"Hold him there, Toothless. It's all over now." Hiccup says as the alpha spots them.

"Or is it?" Drago asks.

"Hiccup!" Rapunzel cries to try and warn him.

Hiccup turns to see it as Toothless leaps in to protect him and the alpha spits ice at them.

"No!" Valka yells.

Valka ran and reached the ice and everyone else runs up to see he was gone. They started to feel all hope was gone, but then the ice starts to glow. The two of them start to back away when it explodes to unveil Toothless. He is now glowing blue all over and he roars at the alpha. Then he turns to Hiccup and sees he's okay and then Toothless leaps up the ice blast and screeches at the alpha.

"He's challenging the alpha!" Hiccup sees and joins him on the ground.

"To protect you!" Valka finishes as they watch the two dragons begin to fight.

"Go, Toothless!" Everyone shouted, clapping in support for their most powerful dragon.

For the first time in a long time, they were smiling genuinely as they watched Toothless take on their enemy.

Toothless fired a plasma blast; the burst was a mix of purple and that same glowing electric blue, and it exploded against the Bewilderbeast's face like a firework. It was the biggest blast they have ever seen come from that dragon in years, and it fascinated and amazed them both at once.

The Alpha's tusk smashed against the spike of ice Toothless was perching on, but Toothless didn't even seem fazed. He fired again after taking residence on a spike of ice below the first one and fired again at the Alpha.

Then, slowly but surely, the dragons that had once been flocking over the Alpha turned and hovered in the air over Toothless. The Alpha was losing his hold on the dragons; he no longer had power over their minds.

Hiccup suddenly raced forward, straight up to Toothless without fear. He leaped atop his dragon's back, and Toothless let him without protest, although his main focus remained on the once Alpha.

"This is what it is to earn a dragon's loyalty. Let this end now." Hiccup tells Drago.

"Never! Come on!" Drago replies, still believing he can win.

Toothless let loose another ear-piercing roar, and then, all the dragons in the air over him and around him opened fire at the Bewilderbeast. They hit him from every angle possible, all over his face, neck, and even some of his back.

The dragons stopped all at once, and Toothless fired one final plasma blast, aiming straight for the Bewilderbeast's tusks. The plasma blast exploded, and the dragon's tusk snapped straight off, leaving jagged spikes where it used to be. Black smoke poured from the gaping hole, and the former Alpha roared a mix of what sounded like fury and pain.

Toothless roared in triumph. He had won.

The Bewilderbeast bowed. He bowed to Toothless, to the new Alpha.

"The Alpha protects them all!" Hiccup shouted, his voice full of triumph, much like Toothless' roar.

As if agreeing with what he had said, Toothless roared again, and behind him and above him, the other dragons did the same, cheering in victory. The Bewilderbeast turned, defeated, and returned to the water from where it had come. It sank beneath the waves almost painfully slowly, but as soon as it was gone, the people burst into cheers.

Hiccup and Toothless dismounted and went towards their friends and family who all ran over and hugged one another. Happy that the war (as short-lived as it was) was over and the dragons were safe, as well as having a new alpha.

Toothless and the other dragons raced back and landed on solid ground, he was standing in front of all the other dragons. The others watched in awe as the dragons bowed lowly to their new Alpha. Toothless straightened his posture and tried to look majestic, and it became clear that the dragon loved people bowing to him.

Then, the dragons lifted their heads and blasted fire into the air. They watched as the fires collided like fireworks, sending small, floating embers down upon the ground. It was beautiful to witness and amazing to watch.

Toothless raced back towards Hiccup, and his rider put his hands under the dragon's chin, smiling softly. "You never cease to amaze me, bud," Hiccup whispered. He rested his forehead against the dragon's muzzle and shut his eyes contentedly. "Thank you."

But the moment gets interrupted as Toothless licks Hiccup to the ground and continues, and everyone laughs at the sight before them.

"Toothless, you know that doesn't wash out!" Hiccup tells his dragon as he licks the down Rider while Rapunzel, Valka, Arianna, and Frederic were reunited with their dragons.

"Serenity!" Rapunzel cheered as she ran over and hugged her Death Song. "Oh, I'm so happy you're back, girl!"

"You handled yourself pretty well out there, Hiccup." Frederic complimented his son-in-law as he approached him. "You would make a great leader."

Hiccup smiled and nodded, feeling that he has finally seen he can take up the crown. "If you think that I'm ready...I think we are ready."

Fredrick smiled, seeing that Hiccup has grown during this fight and had now seen the truth of what he needed to be.

"King Hiccup and Queen Rapunzel of Corona!"

A week after the battle, the two of them stood in the middle of the same room that they were once married in but were now being crowned rulers of Corona. They were met with everyone standing with everyone applauding the two of them, even some of the dragons screeched and jumped in joy.

Nobody ever disagreed with the king's decision to put the two saviors of Corona on the throne. After all that they have gone through to protect them, they saw that they would be great warriors and rulers of the kingdom.

Even if Rapunzel couldn't heal people anymore, she was still loved and welcomed by everyone when she became Queen. Hiccup was also the same, after never being accepted anywhere, it was nice to finally have a home.

A while later, the two of them found themselves on the back of their dragons, flying through the skies.

"This... is Corona. It's our home. It's home and sanctuary to dragons and people everywhere. Those who attacked us are relentless and crazy. But those who stopped them? Oh, even more so! We may be small in numbers, but we stand for something bigger than anything the world can put against us."

They flew past as Valka and Cassandra are still removing the armor from the dragons that Drago used in his army.

"We are the voice of peace. And bit by bit, we will change this world. You see, we have something they don't. Oh sure, they have armies, and they have armadas. But we... we have OUR DRAGONS!"

Toothless roared in victory as they flew off into the sunsetting sky together.

Their two dragons, and their three riders...
