You can try my fav game. It's simple. So, one starts telling a story, and then, the other continues the story, however they like. Oh, I would always play it, and I still do, in the car with my family.

I spy. It's a perfect game, I always loved it as a kid, and still love it as a little. Yk the rules, they are simple.

Roleplay. Don't tell me you've never played that- I was always the father:') Kids love putting on plays and acting, so make it a fun game. Together, come up with a play you both can act out. You can then practice and put on a performance for other family members or class friends later that day.

Hide and seek. They love playing that. They love to hide, but they also love to find you as well. This game could go on for hours. 

Tag. It's an easy game to play that all kids enjoy. One person is "it" and has to tag someone else. Then, that person becomes "it." There are multiple variations to make it more interesting, including freeze tag and so on.

Red light, green light. No need to explain, just don't make it squid game edition, they hate it when they "die".

Duck, Duck, Goose. This need lots of people tho. Take turns being the person who goes around the circle. When you tap each head, say either duck or goose. When you say goose, that person has to run and tag you. If you sit down in their spot before they tag you, then you become the tagger.

These are some of my favs but there are definitely more, and fun games.
