Every high school is different. But they are not like the movies, not like "mean girls" or "high school musical." You might hope that but it won't happen.

Expectation:
You walk in with your new outfit you or your parents bought. You immediately make friends who strut with you in the halls, you already know you schedule somehow then you go to your locker and get the combination right away. At your locker a cute guy (or girl) comes up and asks for your number, you accept. All of your books are already there, you get one book then go to class. After class you have a free period so you decide to go to Chipotle. After that you finish your classes for the rest of the day. Then you go home with your new friends in your red corvette.

Reality:
You walk into school, with all your books in one hand and your schedule and locker code in the other hand. You get tripped on the way to your locker. One person helps pick it up, you were hoping for a cute guy but it turns out to be the science teacher who is 80 years old. Gross. After you go to your locker you go to class, after that class you have a free period, never mind, that just says French, after French class you go to lunch, where your lunch gets dropped on the ground so you have to buy the cardboard pizza they have. After your classes for the day you go home, then you parent comes to pick you up in their van.

P.S this reality/expectation was just a joke, it was meant to be funny.
