~~~Millard's POV~~~

 I was putting on my colored contact lenses, that quite honestly are difficult to put in, but essential to blend in. Not that I like blending in. Well it comes in handy, but my invisibility is my most treasured trait, other than my intelligence. 

"I still can't believe you had the balls to ask Emily Williams out." Hugh said from his bed. He and Jake were currently playing the video game, Halo. Jake was obviously in the lead.

"We're friends. This is what 21st century friends do. How do I look?" I stepped out of the bathroom to show Jake and Hugh my outfit. What a mistake.

They burst out laughing.

"Millard this is 2014. Not 1914. Lose the bowtie" Jake took my bowtie "And put on a  flannel and pair of jeans." Hugh said as he shuffled around his room looking for clothes and tossed me jeans and a flannel. "Go change" I quickly changed into the clothing and stepped out for inspection.

"Better" Jake said. "But don't gel up your hair." He messed up my hair. "And wear converse." He tossed me my normal everyday shoes. 

"There we go." Hugh said. I looked at myself in the mirror.

"I'm wearing exactly what I wore to school today!" I exclaimed.

"Damn," Hugh said. "You dressed up." I rolled my eyes and made my way downstairs.

~~Bronwyn's POV~~

"Just a little bit of mascara and voila!" Emma said as she finished my make up.

I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked incredible!

"Oh thank you guys!" I hugged Emma and Fiona as tight as I could.

"Wyn-can't-breathe" Emma breathed out.

"Oh sorry" I said, letting go of them. Sometimes I forget my own strength.

"It's alright Wynnie. Say why do you want your make up done anyways? You're just going out with Millard and his date. And her friends." Fiona asked while eating her second Butterfinger.

"I just want to look nice. Why have you eaten two chocolates? In an hour." I asked.

Fiona dropped the candy bar and smiled.

"Oh no reason. I just didn't eat lunch." She lied. She ate a huge lunch, I should know, I was there.

"Sure..." I narrowed my eyes. She was lying, but I'll find out what later. Right now I had a movie date. With nine other people.

"Bye, guys! I'll see you later" I yelled as I ran downstairs.

"Ready?" I asked Millard.

"Yes, come on. We need to go over the plan." We walked towards the movie theater as Millard went over ' The Plan'. For the third time. Today.

"Okay Bronwyn the plan is simple. I will sit by Emily, Victoria, Luke, and Max, while you sit by Natalie,Charlie , Percy, and TJ. You will talk to each of your people and make mental minutes of their personalities. I will be doing the same. Also try to get a strand of their hair. Just Natalie, Percy, and TJ's. Charlie and Natalie are related so her hair will count for all four of them. It will be easier to get a strand of her hair since it's blue. Or red. Or whatever color. After we collect all 5 strands, we will go to the Florida loop entrance and make our way to Miss Peregrine and she or any other ymbryne will test it and we will know everything about them, more importantly their ancestors. Is the plan clear?"

"Yes, Millard, the plan is clear." I said.

"Okay good." He said as we walked up to the theater. We immediately spotted the crowd of eight sitting and waiting, except for two who were fighting.

"I can't believe you did that!" TJ yelled. "Do you even want to learn how to drive!"

"Yes, but to be fair are you the most qualified teacher?" Natalie asked. "You've gotten into one wreck already!"

"And I've learnt from it!"

Max then pushed them apart and placed his hands on their foreheads.

"Are you going to stop fighting?" He said. They mumbled yes. He let go and they crossed their arms and glared at each other.

"Hey guys," Emily said "Sorry about them. They always fight."

"We do not!" Natalie and TJ said in unison. Emily rolled her eyes. 

"Shall we go?" Millard asked. We then filed into the movie theater.

~~~Emily's POV~~~

We sat down for the movie shortly after TJ and Natalie's fight. Oh they were so cute. TJ is sooo in love with her. But he's to stubborn to admit it. And she's to clueless to tell. Oh well it's better the way it is now, I don't want to imagine the couple fights they would have.

"Are you excited?" Millard leaned and asked me. I could only nod. He looked so...attractive! It was hard to believe that he was single. Or going out with me...and not getting a date from Vicky. He then brushed a piece of hair out of my face. 

"Sorry, it was in your eyes." He said. I nodded and tried to pay attention to the screen. He quickly looked to his phone and textured someone. Probably his foster mom.

~~~TJ's POV~~~ 

During the movie I tried to get Tallie's bleeding attention, but she wasn't looking or speaking to me. Bleeding women. Why are they so damn stubborn? Tallie has been like this every since Trey died...and I can't blame her. The poor girl lost her boyfriend and she was only 15. But lately we're both constantly fighting! And it's about stupid shit too. I offer to teach her how to drive (even though she has yet to get her permit) and she fucking almost puts a dent in my car. Though I guess I overreacted a little. I did accidentally hit a mailbox a few months ago, but to be fair, that was an accident. 

"TJ?" I broke from my trail of thoughts to see Bronwyn poking my shoulder.

"Yeah?" I whispered back.

"Can I have the popcorn?" She asked.

"Yeah, right sorry." I said handing her the container. She picked something off it and I went back to staring at Tallie. Right when an alarm rang. 

Immediately Millard and Bronwyn jumped up, but the rest of us stayed seated, knowing what was happening. 

"Beasts..." I muttered under my breath. We had gone two months without any, of course they would pop up now!

"Run both of you!" Emily said pushing them out. They ran away and Percy held out his arm.

"Grab on they can't be far! I'll teleport us to the exit." We each grabbed on to his arm and he teleported us outside the theater. We saw an invisible thing wrecking buildings and jumped into action. I quickly turned into a cheetahs and ran right up to it. Man, I love kicking beast's asses.

~~~Millard's POV~~~

Immediately after Bronwyn and I saw the invisible creature wrecking a telephone pole, we bolted to the Portman residence. Sure enough we met Jake, Emma, Hugh, and Fiona in between.

"I got the feeling" Jake said. We only nodded and ran back. But we were to late. The hollow was defeated. By the other peculiars. A telephone pole had strangled the hollow and two knives had been poked into his eyes. Charlie was controlling some mist, Luke was lifting some telephone poles with his mind (apparently), and Emily was touching people's bruises, healing them.

"Cover your mouths and noses if you want to remember this." I told my friends. We lifted our shirts and covered up, jogging away with four of us in utter shock.

When we got home, they all had questions.

"How are they peculiar?"

"How did they take down that hollow?"

"Millard, did you know?"

"Is that why you went out with Emily?"

"Shut up!" I screamed. They piped down.

"To answer your questions, yes I knew they were peculiar, but they didn't know I knew. We saw them at Smart Aide a few nights ago and saw their peculiarities. Bronwyn and I are working to get a piece of each of their hairs to send to Miss Peregrine. Yes Jake, you can find a person's peculiarity from their hair through a process performed by ymbrynes. So far we have Emily's, which will count for her brother's and cousins', Victoria's and Max's. Bronwyn did you get any?"

"Um yeah I got TJ's and Percy's. Does this mean we have all of them?"  She said. I could hug her.

"Oh thank god! We can just go to Miss Peregrine now! Thank you so much Bronwyn!" She smiled.

"So when were you going to tell the rest of us?" Emma asked.

"As soon as we knew for sure. We had to test them. We need to find out their ancestors and why no ymbryne has never taken them in." I said.

"Okay, but we're coming with you to see Miss P." Hugh said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because things are getting boring around here. We need an adventure. And now." He said.

I smirked. This was going to be an adventure indeed.
