Now here we were, all of us sitting around in my apartment catching up. Well, besides Yoongi who had yet to come over.

"I can't believe you two are actually dating now! Jin use to be so in love and honestly I never thought the two of you would get together but I'm glad you did." Jimin smiles widely as he looks between the two of us.

"It's definitely crazy." Namjoon laughs as he looks at me.

"I remember the time you turned him down he just cried and cried."

Jin leans over and smacks Namjoon for his comment and I laugh as I lean my head against Jin.

"Well no more tears now, I'm all yours." I say and that seems to make Jin blush slightly. Of course the guys made fun of him. It was just like old times.

"So when's this Yoongi guy coming, I can't wait to meet him and see if he's cool like you say he is." Tae says and Jungkook pipes in.

"Well as long as him and Jin don't get into another fist fight all will be well."

"When did-" but Hoseok's words were cut off as there was a knock on the door.

I sprinted for it, opening it to reveal Yoongi.

"A little late but hey, you made it." I say jokingly and he comes back with, "You know it."

I lead him to where everyone else is before I begin the introductions. After everyone was introduced to one another, Yoongi sat down on the other side of me, earning a glance from Jin but he didn't say anything.

"Hey." Yoongi says suddenly as he leans over me slightly to look at Jin. "Hi." Jin says, his voice a little iffy.

"Wow, awkward. What's that about?" Tae asks as he glances between the two of them. Before I can speak, Yoongi does.

"I'm in love with Y/n too. Weird, I know. No worries though, I know my place. I'd actually like to be friends, for Y/n's sake of course." Yoongi says.

The room is silent for a second before Namjoon bursts out laughing. "Yeah that's definitely weird. Hell, whatever works for you guys though."

"What do you say, buds?" Yoongi asks as he glances over at Jin again. Jin looks back at him and I could tell he didn't really want to but he agreed anyway.

"Great! Now maybe we can all hangout like this again. Yoongi is cool in my book." Hoseok smiles and I can't help but to laugh a bit.

Hoseok thought everyone was cool. He was always super friendly from what I remembered and he loved meeting new people.

"How did you guys meet each other anyway?" Jungkook asks as he glances over at me. "He lives next door." I say and his jaw drops.

"Wait seriously?! Why were you so late then?" Jungkook asks and Yoongi laughs. "Was I late? I like to consider that pretty decent timing for me." He says and I can't help but to laugh.

"Yeah he's always like that." I say as I nudge Yoongi's shoulder. "You too seem pretty close. Doesn't that bother you?" Namjoon asks as he looks over at Jin who was sitting beside me silently.

Jin doesn't say anything then and I knew he was just holding back. Of course it bothered him but I was glad he was trying for me.

"No worries, Y/n already made it clear she doesn't want to be with me. Really, you have nothing to worry about." Yoongi says and Jin looks over at him before he reaches down for my hand, pulling it into his lap.

"I know." Is all Jin says as he turns his head to me and smiles. I give him a smile back as I lean into him a bit.

"Maybe we should change the subject. A little weird if you ask me." Tae laughs and I nod, agreeing.

This was definitely the last thing I wanted to be talking about right now. I didn't want to make anyone uncomfortable and that was seriously an uncomfortable situation.

"Alright then what should we talk about?" Hoseok asks and Jungkook smiles widely.

"How about how Jin just got a promotion!" He says and my eyes widen. "Huh? Why didn't you say anything?!" I ask as I look over at Jin in shock.

"I wanted it to be a surprise but since it's out there now, Yeah." Jin says and I smile. "What promotion did you get?" I ask and Jin's words shock me.

"Well, Starting Monday, I'll be your new boss."

My eyes widened as I sat there shocked. "Oh wow that's insane. Congrats!" I say as I throw my arms around Jin, squeezing tightly.

"Thank you." Jin says as he hugs me back before pulling back to peck my lips.

I felt a little weird doing this while Yoongi was right beside me, but at the same time, I didn't want to upset Jin by not kissing him back.

The rest of that night we all continued to catch up, talking about life and how things had been since we graduated.

Of course the guys also got to know Yoongi and all of that good stuff too. As I listened to Yoongi speak I had a realization hit me, something I hadn't even thought possible till just now.

When I thought I had feelings for Yoongi, It wasn't romantic feelings I had been feeling. Instead it was admiration, a yearning for his friendship.

I wasn't sure what it was about Yoongi but I just thought he was so cool and awesome and I wanted him in my life.

At first I confused those feelings for romantic ones but it wasn't like that at all. Because of his feelings for me being so strong, I let my mind get twisted into believing that's what I might be feeling too but I was wrong.

Instead, I wanted Yoongi in my life as a friend, a comfort place were I could just be myself. In a way, I thought of Yoongi as my soulmate. We were so alike in so many ways and whenever I'm around him I feel a sense of safety and comfort.

As you know, soulmates can be friends too and I really do believe that's what was happening between us. I love Yoongi, but not in the same way he loves me. I wanted Yoongi in my life as a friend and I was glad he wanted that too.

No matter what happened, I hoped I could have his friendship forever.

As I looked around at everyone around me I couldn't help but to have my heart feel full.

I wanted all of this, forever.
