Yoongi and I take a seat at my kitchen table, neither of us really saying much as I got the food ready.
It was definitely a bit strange being around him after me turning him down but at the same time, I knew we needed to have that 'where do we go from here' talk.
After all, I still cared for Yoongi and wanted him in my life. That was completely up to him and I had to respect whatever he chose.
"So, how is Jin?" Yoongi asks suddenly before I get to bring up what I wanted to ask. "He's good." I say, my words a bit standoffish.
"Yeah? I'm sure he was more then thrilled when you told him you chose him. He better treat you well because I'll be right here to sweep you off your feet if he doesn't." Yoongi says, then continues with, "I'm glad you're happy though. I hope it stays that way." He says with a soft smile as he begins to eat.
"Me too. I hope you've been well. I know we haven't really talked all that much and I think we should...I know things are a bit weird because of how everything has played out, but I still want to be friends if you do." I say, my words hopeful.
Yoongi glanced up and me before he smiled widely. "Of course I still want to be friends. I want you in my life always and I promise not to let my feelings get in the way. I respect that you chose Jin and I won't interfere with that. Hell, I may even try to be friends with Jin."
To say I was a bit taken back would be an understatement. I was glad he was acting mature about this though, I really appreciated that.
I just hoped Jin would act the same way...
"I would like that a lot. I'll even have a talk with Jin about it. Actually, I already have to talk to him about an old friend I ran into. If you'd want you could hang out with all of us. I think you'd really like them." I say.
Yoongi looked as if he was thinking about it for a moment before he finally spoke. "Yeah, sure. As long as you're there I'm sure it'll be fine and not too awkward."
I nod as I begin to eat too, the two of us making small talk. Everything seemed to be back to the way it was, and I was insanely happy about that.
Even though I knew it was selfish, I still wanted Yoongi in my life. I was just glad he wanted that too. After all, we had become really good friends and despite his feelings for me, our friendship was strong.
Now all I could hope for was Jin to be accepting of it. I didn't want to hurt Jin in anyway but I also still wanted Yoongi as a friend.
I was hoping it would all work out in the end.

The next day at work when Jin walked in he greeted me with a huge smile as he took a seat beside me at his desk.
I wasn't sure where to start, the Yoongi situation, Taehyung, or the fact that I already invited Yoongi to hang with all of us.
"Morning!" Jin says as he turns to face me. "Morning." I smile as I do the same. "How did laundry and stuff go yesterday?" He asks.
"It went good. It took a while but get this, I went to the store for dinner and I ran into Tae." I say and instantly, Jin's eye's widened.
"Really?! What did he say?" Jin asks. "We were just catching up a bit and then he said he wanted us all to hangout and catch up like old times."
"All of us?" He asked, referring to our other friends. I nod. "We totally should it's been so long! They'll probably think it's weird to see us finally together." Jin says then looks up at me.
"We are together, right? Like boyfriend and girlfriend?" Jin asks, seeming a little worried. I couldn't help but to laugh a little.
"Is that what you want?" I ask. "Of course that's what I want. Is that what you want?" He asks and I smile.
"Of course." Jin seemed to relax as he nodded. "Okay good. I'm glad you're my girlfriend." He says and he seems a little shy saying it.
"I'm glad too." I say with a smile as I lean forward and poke at his arm. "Did Tae say when?" He asks and I shake my head. "No, but I have his new number so I can find out. There is just one other thing I need to talk to you about though." I say, becoming serious.
Jin instantly looked a little worried. "What is it?" He asks.
"When I got back from the store I ran into Yoongi..." I start and right away Jin seemed to frown. "We sat and talked for a little and we decided to be friends. He already made it clear that he would respect our relationship and wouldn't interfere. I hope you're okay with that." I say.
Jin sat there for a moment without saying anything before he finally spoke. "As long as he actually keeps his word, I guess. I trust you you know that, you're free to do whatever you want with whoever you want, within reason of course. I trust you won't let anything happen." Jin says.
I smile as I lean back in my chair, happy that Jin was okay with Yoongi and I being friends. I was glad I was able to have both of them in my life which Is all I could ever ask for.
"Good because there's one more thing." I say, grinning.
"What now?" he asks and I laugh as I blurt out,
"I already Invited Yoongi to come hang with all of us!"
Jin pulled his lips in as he nodded. "Alright." He finally says and I smile as I turn my body back towards my computer.
"No worries, I'm sure everything will be okay." I say reassuringly which earns a sigh from Jin as he mumbles out,
"I sure hope so."
