The gang was all gathered together by their usual spot for lunch time. Laughing and chattering about almost everything. Jimin didn't want to ruin the bubbly mood and spill the tea to them about him participating in the dance program audition, only to get rejected.
So he just smiled and played along.
“Oh, Taeyong I saw your whole performance on stage, last night!”Jimin whisper shouted at the boy, grinning widely. “I didn't know you could move your hips like that!”
Taeyong blushed immensely before moving his face to the side and dramatically waving his hand. “Awww, stop—”
A roughed up napkin was once again, thrown at his face by Lisa. “Oh shut up, I was way better than you.”
Taeyong scrunched up his nose in a pouty way before stuffing his face with bibimbap. Lisa nudged Jimin in his shoulder and showed him her puppy eyes as she mustered up her cutest voice.
“What about me, Jiminie?” She asked, blinking her eyes rapidly. “I'm way better than Taeyong, right?”
Jimin looked conflicted as he glanced back and forth between Taeyong and Lisa before bursting into a laugh.
“Ah, stop it. You both are amazing!” Jimin ruffled Lisa's hair, upsetting her bangs but the girl didn't seem to complain as she shot Taeyong a playful glare.
“If it isn't the losers,” A voice from behind them, said. “Who knew they would hang out together.”
They all turned their attention to the unwanted intruders, who walked and stopped by their table. Jimin recognised Hoshi almost immediately and his brows creased into a frown. What did he want?
“Wow, didn't know I'd see Kai here,” One of the boy's behind Hoshi chuckled as he came forward. “Tell me, did your mother come back or are you still a failure?”
The group of four, broke out into giggles before another one could intervene. “Shhh, you're exposing him to his crush.”
“Crush? Oh my god, you mean that crybaby?!” The one who had spoken first questioned before pointing directly at Jennie. “I swear who would ever want to date someone who cries over every little thing?!”
Jimin had now been able to recognise the two that was speaking, Minghao was the one who spoke first and he was a second year. Meanwhile the other one was Jun who was in his last year, just like Hoshi. Narrowing his eyes, Jimin was able to make out the fourth member of their little group.
It was Lee Chan, more well known as Dino and he was a first year just liked Jimin and Jiwoo. At the mere thought of the boy, Dino had walked up to Taeyong and bent down to his eye level.
“You can't be serious, are you wearing eyeliner?” Dino asked in a puzzling manner before chuckling, sending a quick glance to the trio behind him. “So you realise that you look like a girl? I honestly thought you were one, for a second!”
The gang were so shocked and taken back by what was transpiring that no one made a move to do anything but just watch.
“Forget about that gay dude, do you know about him?” Hoshi gestured with his chin at Jimin and smirked.
“Him?” Minghao, Jun and Dino asked out in sync.
Hoshi nodded, locks of his blonde hair falling into his eyes. “At first I honestly thought he were going to be good dancer when he auditioned for the dance program.”
Minghao gasped. “He auditioned?! That short and chubby thing?!”
“Yeah and you should've seen him,” Hoshi snickered and covered his mouth, mockingly, to barely hide his threatening giggles. “It was like he had two left legs, I don't know why he bothered to try to get into the program.”
Jiwoo slammed both her hands, flat against the table as she stood up from her seat. Shooting a glare in the four boys direction, she walked towards them. With her chin held high and her eyes burning holes into them, Jiwoo sighed her finger into Hoshi's chest.
“What the hell is your deal?” She questioned, looking at the boys behind Hoshi who cowered at her intense gaze before locking eye contact with the blonde. “For your information, Jimin is talented and the best dancer I know. You're just a blind delulu.”
Hoshi's jaw tightened at her remark and with a shove of his hand, he pushed Jiwoo to the ground. “Don't touch me you painted whore!”
Jimin was the first to jump out of his seat and lunged directly at Hoshi, catching a fistful of Hoshi's collar in his hand. “What the fuck is your problem? Just leave us alone!”
Hoshi grabbed Jimin's wrist and tried to undo his tight hold. “Let go of me, you piece of shit.”
And that's when Jimin had thrown the first punch, the boy wasn't thinking straight for all the built up emotions and anger began to pour out in every hit. Kai and Taeyong had ran over to tear Jimin off of Hoshi before the boy got seriously hurt, despite thinking that he deserved it.
But even after taking a few painful hits from Jimin, Hoshi was still grinning like a Cheshire cat while being helped onto his feet by Dino and Jun. Shaking off the boys hands on him, Hoshi wiped away the blood from the corner of his mouth.
“Damn, I'm so glad I didn't accept your audition. Otherwise I would've had a violent psychopath on the team.” Hoshi said, staring at seething Jimin who was still held back by Kai and Taeyong. “If you can throw punches so quickly, why couldn't you dance any better...”
Hoshi's eyes bulged from his eye sockets as he spotted Taemin who had walked into the scene, the boy sending the blonde his chilling glares. Hoshi pursed his lips and pulled up his jacket that had slipped down his shoulder, turning around and walking away.
Jimin pushes against Kai and Taeyong, freeing himself from their restraints and pants heavily as he watched their retreating backs.
“Jimin...” Jiwoo's voice could be heard next to him but the boy merely shot a gentle look before he took off in the opposite direction, the seeping blood and pain staining his knuckles.
