A rank in the Naruto universe is used to describe the level of difficulty of a jutsu, skill, mission, or even a shinobi. There are 6 ranks, and from lowest to highest, they are :

1. E rank

2. D rank

3. C rank

4. B rank

5. A rank

6. S rank

E - RANK

E - rank is the lowest of the rankings and is exclusively for classifying academy students and techniques they are meant to learn.

List of E rank jutsu :

1). Transformation jutsu : this is required for every student to graduate (the one naruto failed). The student transforms into a different person or object.

2) Body replacement jutsu : the user replaces their body with another object–usually a log idk why.

3) Rope escape jutsu : gives you the ability to escape rope. (Ppft)

4). Clone jutsu

5. Cloak of invisibility jutsu : the user imbues chakra into a piece of fabric, giving it a camouflage ability.

D - RANK

D - rank classifies techniques for users in the genin level. It also classifies the lowest level of missions a ninja can receive, which is typically given to genin–like finding pets and tending to lawns. It pays from 5000 to 50,000 ryo.
 

1. Beast Human Clone :  "Imitation Human Ninja Art" (擬人忍法, Gijin Ninpō), this technique transforms a ninken into their Inuzuka partner. By doing this, the Inuzuka gains a copy of themselves that serves the same
practical purpose as a shadow clone but without a shadow clone's steep chakra requirement.   and acts.

2. Body Flicker Technique : enables a ninja to move short distances at an incredible speed–basically teleportation.

3). Demonic Illusion, Hell Viewing Technique :

The user casts a genjutsu on their opponent, causing them to see their greatest fear, or an imagine the victim least wants to see.

4). Haze clone technique : the user creates clones with no physical substance, almost like ghosts.

5). Maniuplated shuriken technique : With this technique a translucent string, both elastic and highly durable, is attached to a shuriken, making it possible to alter its path after having thrown it.

6). Temporary Paralysis Technique : Using this technique causes a target or targets to be physically immobilised, as though they've been tied down with invisible steel ropes. Because it's a relatively simple technique, even genin should be able to perform it. However, the strength of the binding varies significantly from one skill level to the next

C - RANK

These are jutsu or techniques that a ninja of chuunin level can perform. They usually require training.

C - rank missions are mostly escort and hunting missions, and though physical injury happens, the ninja usually does not face other ninjas in battle in these missions. It pays between 30,000 and 100,000 ryo.

1). Demonic Illusion : False Surroundings Technique

the user casts a genjutsu over a location, making it look like a different place. Usually, other genjutsu users can see through this because it is done on a large scale.

2). Earth release : earth shore return

The user elevates a part of a ground to act as a wall.

3). Earth Release : Subterranean Voyage

the user turns the ground to liquid, allowing them to swiftly swim and attack the enemy with a surprise attack.

4). Earth release : tearing earth turning palm

this is a basic jutsu taught in iwagakure. The user strikes their palm against the ground to cause local devastation
