(Mainly a filler chapter)
Lachlan's POV
Brandon and Mat had just left and night was coming quickly. Jerome suggested some of us should go get more supplies. The only people with supplies were Preston and Rob. They had both stopped and got some wood before this happened. Each had a little wood and Rob had a furnace. We quickly got everyone into one of the buildings at spawn and set some stuff up. The furnace was put down along with crafting table.
"How about Vikklan and Poofless go get wood and Merome and the Sidemen go mining?" Vikk suggested.
"That sounds good." Jerome said. The Sidemen were a little confused but they agreed.
"Alright, you guys may have to teach the Sidemen how to Minecraft properly while we go and get some wood." Vikk told Mitch and Jerome. We accepted that Vikk took leadership because of the Sidemen. We got the rest of the supplies and crafted a few pickaxes and axes. Soon, we left as Mitch was explaining how to mine while Jerome collected enough stone for everyone.
We left out into the night with axes and each other. Luckily a forest was somewhat close. The walk there was silent but once we got there you could hear the mobs making the noises they made every time. This time was different. They were more menacing. This time we could actually die.
Soon enough we were chopping down trees along the edge. Vikk and I stayed together while Preston and Rob were together. So mainly Vikklan and Poofless. We'll sink with the ship. Yay. (sarcasm) It was mostly silent so when we had a good amount of wood we found Poofless and started back to the building. We arrived and everyone was down in the mines so we just chilled.
"How long do you think we will be stuck like this?" Preston asks.
"Hopefully not long, I don't like the uncertainness of the death situation." Vikk said.
"Especially me. I died so many times last seasons."
"I know, we were always careful but this is another thing. This could be life or death." Rob said.
We sat in utter silence until the boys came up from the mine. One by one they all came up, it was Simon and Ethan, Tobi and Harry, Josh and Merome all came up. They all looked beat and Simon was covered in coal dust.
"Hey." Jerome said when he saw us.
"Hey." I replied.
"How was the mine?" Vikk said.
"Scary as hell, but we did not see a lot of mobs. One zombie did scare the hell out of Harry." Mitch said and laughed a little at the end.
"Shut up it scared me." Harry said embarrassed.
"He screamed like a little girl." said Tobi.
"What did you get done there?" Rob asked.
"Umm....some iron, a lot of coal found by Simon." Mitch said pointing to Simon.
"I can take you to the fountain outside to wash up." Vikk said.
Vikk and Simon walked out of the building and the rest of us just chatted with each other. I mainly chatted to Tobi and Harry.
I learned the story of the zombie and Harry for real.
Harry was mining iron and apparently he dug into another cave. As he is mining the rest of the iron, a zombie falls down the small hole between the caves. Right in front of Harry. He let out a really high pitched screamed and ran away. Mitch was closest and killed the zombie while Harry ran over Tobi and hid behind him. A few minutes later they walked back up here. After a while of banter, Vikk and Simon walked in. Simon was clean but a little wet, still. Vikk on the other hand was drenched. We all gave him a questioning look and he shot a death glare over at Simon, who was dying of laughter.
"What happened?" Josh asked.
"Simon was in the fountain while we were talking as he began to get back out he grabbed my hand, me expecting to pull him out. Instead he pulled me in and ran."
As Vikk said that, everyone burst into giggles and laughter. As Ethan started laughing soon everyone was leaning on the wall or on the floor laughing. It was really funny all of us laughing. If only it could stay like this.
