You just laid there, crying. All your emotions that you had built up, letting them flow out. You couldn't stop no matter how much you tried. You felt so weak, so useless at that moment. Maybe broken things were meant to be broken. Maybe your heart wasn't suppose to be mended in the end.

As you laid there, crying your heart out. You heard something that made you stop instantly crying. As you kept quiet and listen closely and carefully, you heard a faint beating sound.

It was very slow, and faint. You quickly snapped your head up and yelled.

"Oh my gods guys! He's alive! He's heart faintly beating we have to help him!"

Valka than quickly moved over and laid her head on Hiccups chest, and indeed she heard faint beating.

As Valka shouted orders to everyone, you quickly but carefully picked up Hiccup. Your whole body was throbbing from pain but you didn't care. Hiccup was your main priority and if you weren't quick enough, he would die.

You used the rest of your strength to place Hiccup gently onto Toothless' back.

"Alright bud be very gently okay? Now take us home."

You than climbed quickly onto Toothless, with Hiccup in your arms as you all flew home.

When you arrived you quickly jumped off as you lead Toothless inside. Valka and Gothi were right behind quickly gathering supplies. You than lead Toothless upstairs into Hiccups room. Once you entered Toothless lowed himself down as you picked up Hiccup and gently placed him on the bed.

Once you settled him down you looked down at him and gave a small smile.

"Everything is going to be okay," you whispered.

You spoke to him, Toothless, and yourself. You than kissed his head before Valka and Gothi quickly rushed in making you back up. Gothi needed you and Toothless to exit the room but you demanded that you would stay.

Valka saw your stubbornness kick in and gently told you that you needed to exit It out of the room. After a moment you finally gave in as you and Toothless got out.

You than went to walk downstairs but stumbled. Toothless was able to catch you in time before you were able to hit the ground.

"Thanks bud."

He gave you a purr as he helped you down the stairs. When you reached the bottom step you saw the whole gang there. You were about to speak but all of a sudden you felt light headed, and everything around you was spinning in circles. You looked around and saw Astrid coming towards you before you hit the ground, falling into darkness.

You groaned as you opened your eyes. Everything was blurry, making you blink multiple times to get everything back into focus. Once everything was back into focus you turned your head to the side, only to make pain shoot down your neck.

You hissed, shutting your eyes tightly as you felt the pain. After a moment you opened your eyes and tried moving your body but your whole body was sore and stiff, making you grunt in pain.

"I would be careful if I were you."

You turned your head and saw Astrid sitting in a chair.

"What happened?" you asked.

"You took a hard fall down a thirty foot cliff."

You gave a nod as you closed your eyes, letting the memories flow through your mind. As laid there remembering, you remembered Hiccup making your eyes shoot wide open as you quickly sat up, ignoring the pain once again.

"Hiccup? Is he okay?" you quickly asked.

"Yeah he's okay but he's not up yet. Now be careful before you cause any more damage to yourself," she scolded slightly at the end.

You ignored the last part as you stood up, only to have your stomach ache in pain. You looked down and lifted up your shirt slightly, only to see your stomach wrapped in white bandages. You than saw your left wrist in a bandage also.

You than lifted up your pant leg to see big large purple and blue bruises that covered your leg. You guessed that your other leg was pretty bad also. Your arms littered with small bruises but it wasn't all that bad unless you counted the soreness.

Astrid saw your distressed face and spoke up worriedly.

"How are you feeling?"

"I feel like I fell down a cliff," you joked smiling sheepishly.

Astrid just rolled her eyes at your lame joke as she got up and helped you walk out the door. You realized that you were in Gothi's hut. You looked around only to squint as the sun shined brightly into your eyes.

Once your eyes adjusted, you saw the villagers already rebuilding the houses that got destroyed. You looked around once again before you looked back at Astrid.

"How long was I out?"

"Only about three days," she replied making your eyes widen.

When you were about to reply back, something big knocked you down making you lose your breath. You were than covered in spit, only to realize that Midnight was the one who knocked you down.

"Ahh, Midnight you know that doesn't wash out! Off you overgrown lizard!"

Once Midnight got off, you wiped the spit off making Astrid laugh, making you flick the dragon spit to her as she flinched away. When you looked back at Midnight, she was giving you puppy eyes making you smile at her.

"I missed you too girl, now lets go and see Hiccup."

You hopped onto Midnight as Astrid whistled for Stormfly. Stormfly than came a minute later greeting Astrid. Once Astrid was on Stormfly you both flew down towards the Haddocks home.

Once you both arrived, you both went inside, only to noticed that Valka wasn't inside.

"Where's Val?"

"She's helping around the village trying to get things back to normal. I'll be down here if you need anything," Astrid replied.

You gave her a small nod and smile before walking upstairs. When you reached the top you entered the room quietly, seeing Hiccup peacefully sleeping.

You than closed the door as you knelt down by the side of the bed, holding his hand gently in yours. You rubbed small circles on the top of his hand as you spoke.

"You know you scared the living death out of me when I thought you were dead," you whispered quietly.

"I thought I had lost you, and it terrified me because I thought you were gone. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if you died. You don't understand how much you mean to me, you mean so much."

You tried to smile but failed as tears prickled at the edges of your eyes.

"I was so afraid, afraid that you would leave this earth without saying goodbye to Toothless, your mom, the gang, and me. My whole life I lived in the darkness, no one was there to lead me to the light. I had lived in the darkness for far to long, but than I met you. You came and lead me out into the light."

You had silent tears slipping down your cheeks as you spoke.

"I didn't expect to fall this hard, but I did. I knew the moment I saw your eyes, that you would be someone special to me. You have done so much for me and you have no idea how greatful I am. You are so special, you have no idea."

You tried wiping your eyes but the tears still came.

"I'm sorry I never got to tell that I loved you. I loved you since the beginning, but I tried denying it but deep down I knew I loved you. Please, I'm begging you, don't leave. I lost my parents and I can't lose you too."

You brought his hand up to your lips and kissed it, before setting it back down. You than got up shakily and kissed his forehead, before whispering into his ear.

"I love you, so god damn much that it hurts. Don't leave me stable boy."

You than wiped your tears as you walked out, shutting the door quietly. You took deep breaths before walking back downstairs, were Midnight, Toothless, and Astrid were waiting for you.

It has been four days since you woken up. Its been a whole week since the battle and he still hasn't woken up yet. You had stayed by Hiccups side, hardly leaving the house. Valka had told you to go out and get fresh air since you haven't stepped out of the house in four days.

It was now late morning, and you were sitting on the porch with Midnight laying on your right, and Toothless on your left. You looked at the village as you saw people finishing up building the houses, before the gang walked up to you.

"Let me guess, you not allowed to go back in the house?" Astrid asked smirking.

"Yeah, Val told me I needed to get fresh air."

"And you did that by sitting on the porch?" Eret asked.

You gave a nod as Snotlout spoke up.

"Let me guess, is this the farthest you've been outside?"

"Yes, is that a problem?" you asked.

He just shook his head no as Ruffnut spoke up.

"Did you see how [Name] killed Drago? She was like a warrior!"

"Yeah I give you props, but I could've taken him down with these guns," Snotlout said flexing his arms.

"No, you couldn't even go near Drago, you just took off the other way!" Astrid said.

"Well...I...nevermind," he pouted.

You all laughed at him until you heard someone call your name. When you looked behind you, you saw Hiccup leaning slightly against the door frame to keep balance. You than quickly jumped up and hugged him tightly. You than took a step back and slapped him in the face. It wasn't too hard nor too soft.

"Owww."

"That's for making me think you had died."

You than took a fistful of his shirt and smashed your lips to his. He stood shocked for a moment before he wrapping his arms around your waist and kissing back.

You had waited forever to kiss him and in all honesty it was pretty good. His lips were soft and sweet and they molded against yours perfectly, as if your lips were made for one another. Your lips moved in perfect sync, you would have kept going but you were running out of oxygen so you pulled back, leaning your forehead against his.

You both were in a daze as Hiccup spoke up breathlessly.

"You have no idea how long I wanted to do that."

You just chuckled breathlessly.

"Same here, I had thought I lost you."

"Well I'm right here and I'm not going to leave you," he smiled.

"Oh Hiccup You're okay!" Valka came and hugged him.

'Right on time Val, no interruptions.' you thought.

Midnight and Toothless than came and knocked him down covering him in sloppy kisses.

"Hey guys I missed you too!"

Hiccup than stood up as Gobber came up smiling wildly as he raised Hiccups hand.

"The chief has finally awoke!"

The whole village erupted in cheers as Hiccup pulled you against him by the waist and kissed you passionately, making you smile into the kiss. The whole village cheered and awed as Snotlout and Tuffnut hollered loudly. Hiccup than pulled away looking deep into your eyes, and what you saw was love swarming in his emerald green eyes.

"Will you be mine?"

"I wouldn't imagine it for the world," you smiled and pecked his lips.

"Where's Drago?" he asked.

"He won't be bothering us anymore, I finished him off."

"Hiccup you should've seen her she's a warrior!" Ruffnut exclaimed patting you on the back.

"Well its good to know that I got myself a warrior," Hiccup smiled.

"Good to know I got my own stable boy," you chuckled.

"C'mon lovebirds we're celebrating in the Great Hall!" Astrid yelled smiling.

"I told you," Valka smiled.

"You were right. Thank you for always being there for me. Your like the mom I never had," you smiled.

"And you were like the daughter I never had. It was such a blessing that we found you. You make Hiccup and I very happy," he said kissing your forehead.

"Love you Val."

"I love you too dear, I'll see you both at the Great Hall."

She than walked away following the others into the building. You than turned towards Hiccup.

"You know she's right. It was a blessing that I found you both. Without Toothless pushing me out of those bushes, we probably would've never met."

"Well looks like we're going to have to thank him," Hiccup smiled.

"Alright now lets go stable boy."

"I'm still stable boy?" he asked.

"Your everything to me, my savior, hero, any many more but you will always be my stable boy."

"Your stable boy?"

"My stable boy."

"Well I don't mind that," he said taking you by the waist and kissing you deeply poring all his love into the kiss.

"You can't get enough of me can you?" you asked in between kisses.

He shook his head no making you chuckle. You than pulled away resting your forehead on his.

"I love you," you whispered.

"I love you too, more than anything in the world," he replied.

You both smiled lovingly at one another as you both walked towards the Great Hall with your fingers intertwined. That is the end of your story reader, Hiccup was the one who mended your broken heart, and you got to live your happily ever after.
