Step Two: Share A Laugh With Him

[Previously:

"Did you know that Mark is planning another attack on AJ when he announces his injury tonight?" "I don't know the details but I do have a plan." Dallas ran in between Mark and AJ when he took out the hammer. "What are you doing?" AJ asked her. Dallas stuck her hand out towards him."I'm helping you." “No I definitely owe you. Maybe I can take you out to a movie or something?” “Here let me give you my number and you can text me when you’re free.” It’s only week one, thirteen more to go.]

Step Two: Share A Laugh With Him

Jeff walked down the hallway with his hands stuffed in his pockets. Once he got to the room he knocked a couple times.

The door opened revealing Dallas in a crop top and shorts.

"Hey Jeff? What are you doing here?" She asked, confused. She hasn't had Jeff talk to her outside of the arenas in two months.

"I can't come visit my sister." He said, crossing his arms. Dallas shrugged.

"Knowing you not unless you want to lecture me on something. So what is it now?" She asked in a bored tone. Jeff just stared at her. She was right. He did come see her for a reason and that reason was trying to get in his best friend's head.

"What are you planning?" He asked, finally.

"What am I planning for what?" She asked instead of answering his very broad question.

"With AJ, Dallas, with AJ. He came up to me right after the show telling me that you brought him backstage and you were being nice to him." He told her.

"Hold up, Jeffery. If anything he was being nice to me, he even said that he would take me out to repay me. So why aren't you having this little talk with your friend instead of me?" She said.

"Dallas, please. Knowing you being so damn loyal to Mark, why the hell would you decide to make one decision against your group? Unless you had something up your sleeve." He said, shaking his head. Dallas rolled her eyes.

"You don't know me, Jeff and I don't want you to know me. Stop thinking you do because for all you know I could have a small crush on AJ and I'm not playing with him. Just mind your own damn business and leave me alone until you realize that you are judging me on something you don't even know about." Without letting him respond, she shut the door.

Dallas walked back to her bed.

"What was that about?" Ken asked. Dallas shrugged.

"No clue, Jeff just being Jeff." She got in bed next to him and sighed.

"Is Mark mad at me?" She questioned, quietly.

"Mad? No more like furious. Did you not see his face out there?" He asked," Sure he may be mad but more confused than anything. Why'd you do it? Did you really think that going somewhat against us would help you?"

"Ken if you're going to be here to lecture me about how wrong I was to do that then just go please?" Dallas said, turning to face him.

"Okay then. Look Dallas what you did wasn't wrong but it wasn't right to do either." He told her. Dallas shrugged.

"I know that but you know I feel bad sometimes for the people that you guys hurt like some of them don't deserve it." Dallas said," I just felt bad for AJ, you guys were going to attack him when you already hurt him the week before."

Ken sighed," You're right Dallas. Mark makes all the decisions so I had no say in this but I would have stopped it. Dallas do you love your group?"

Dallas nodded," More than anything."

"Then you should stick by their decisions because what may seem pointless now will have a point later." He told her. Dallas slid over and wrapped her arms around his waist.

"You're my favorite person in the group you know besides Brooke." She smiled. He chuckled, softly.

"How could you love Blondie more than this?" He joked, referring to himself.

She laughed," Oh for many reasons, Kenny."

Dallas smiled. Everything was going okay she would say. You know besides almost getting kicked out of the group. There was much more of that to come and she knew that but for now this was going perfectly.

"Shouldn't you be on bed rest?" Dallas asked, walking over to him. AJ looked up at her and smiled slightly.

"I should but I don't want to. Plus I was hungry so I decided to come down here." He answered," What about you?"

"Couldn't sleep so I decided to go for a walk." She answered.

"Now that your here. Would you like to get a milkshake with me?" Dallas smiled.

"Yeah I'd love too."

"So how is your leg?" She asked. She couldn't ever imagine walking on crutches. It hurt her just watching him struggle to walk. It's almost like he didn't have a leg at all.

"Fine, I guess better than before definitely." He answered. They walked side by side down the street.

"You know if I was able to stop them three weeks ago I would have." She lied, looking down. Yeah she may have felt bad for him but not that bad.

"It wasn't your fault anyways. You see if you caused me this I wouldn't be walking with you to get food right now." He smiled over at me," Now come on how about a milkshake to somewhat make up for it?"

She smiled and nodded. They walked into a Johnny Rockets and waited to be seated.

"So you know besides hurting people what do you like to do?" He asked her, trying to make conversation. It was really awkward for both of them, they didn't know what to talk about.

"Well I love to wrestle." She stated the obvious. He chuckled.

"I figured, you know since you are a wrestler." He smiled.

She laughed," Oh really Mr.Styles then what do you like to do?"

"Well first off it's Jones." He told her.

"I'm sorry but I can not call you by your really name. It's really weird, I would prefer AJ." She said. He was about to speak when the waitress come over to them, telling them that their table was ready.

They sat down in a booth and looked through the menu.

"Do you know what you want?" AJ asked. Dallas put her menu down.

"I'll just take a strawberry milkshake and fries."

[]

"Eww but why orange is such an ugly color." Dallas told AJ. He chuckled.

"And yellow isn't?" AJ asked. Dallas glared at him playfully.

"Yellow is the color of the sun which makes it very important." She said, sticking a fry into her mouth.

"Dallas, orange is also the color of the sun." AJ chuckled. Dallas' face turned a light pink.

"Oh yeah..." She trailed off. AJ smiled at her, grabbing one of his fries and dipping it into his chocolate milkshake. Dallas' nose scrunched up," Eww did you just dip you fry into your milkshake?"

"Yep." He said, doing it again.

"I find that very disgusting." Dallas said, making a face.

"It's really not you should try it." He told her. She looked down at her milkshake.

"I really don't want to." She said, crossing her arms. He shrugged.

"Whatever, party pooper." AJ laughed. Dallas looked up at him.

"Trying something weird doesn't make me a party pooper. Meanie." She mumbled.

"Really that's the best insult you got?" He teased her. She threw a fry a him. He glared at her, playfully while she laughed," Did you just throw a fry at me?"

"No it was the waitress." She said, sarcastically. She stopped laughing when a fry hit her nose.

He laughed," You see now that's funny."

They kept throwing fries at each other until one went down Dallas' sweatshirt. AJ almost fell to the floor, laughing uncontrollably.

Dallas shook her sweatshirt and the fry fell to the floor.

"You are so mean." She said. AJ was still laughing while wiping tears from his eyes.

"What is going on here?!" AJ stopped laughing and sat up. The old waitress was there with a very pissed off look on her face.

"He was throwing fries!"

"She was throwing fries!"

They both yelled at the same time. The lady seemed to get more annoyed.

"I don't care who started it! I want both of you to leave this instant!" The lady yelled. AJ stood up and grabbed his crutches while Dallas grabbed her jacket. When they we're walking away they heard the lady mumble," Stupid twenty year olds acting like they're ten."

AJ snickered while Dallas couldn't stop herself from laughing. They walked out of the restaurant with Dallas still laughing.

"Did you see the lady's face?" Dallas asked, clutching her stomach. It somewhat pained her to laugh so hard because of her tapped midsection.

AJ then started laughing just thinking about the lady.

"That was the most fun I had in a while." Dallas admitted when she calmed down. She was actually telling him the truth and not lying.

Tonight was fun.

"Glad you enjoyed it." He smiled. She nodded.

"Yeah we should do this more often." Dallas smiled.

She didn't know why she just said that. She wasn't even playing on tonight happening but it did and she enjoyed it. Dallas knew that she should be seriously not enjoying the time she's spending with him but she couldn't help it.

Dallas also knew that she was in trouble for the next four months because this was seriously hard.
