Step Six: Help Him Find His Son [Part Two]

[Previously:

" They're are just waiting there - wherever the hell they are - sitting with a beer, waiting for your arrival. They are using Ajay as bait to take you down. You stand no chance against them - not even with a bat - there is one of you and six of them." "AJ, I've been in their group, I know what they do. They want to take you down and are willing to do whatever it takes." "Cut the bullshit, Mark. Where is Ajay?" "Are you going to tell us where he is?" Dallas asked. "No-" Dallas slammed the chair on Brooke again which caused her to groan in pain,"Stop! Okay, I'll tell you!" "Meet us at the clubhouse." Mark finally answered," I'm not saying that he is here but we are. We'll take it from there."]

Step Six: Help Him Find His Son [Part Two]

"So remind me again why I can't go with you?" AJ asked for like the seventh time already. Dallas rolled her eyes. She was so ready to slam this chair on his head.

"If they know you're with me then they won't give him to me. But if they know that I'm only they'll probably think about it." Dallas answered with a shrug.

"I'm giving you ten minutes, if you aren't out then I'm going in." He told her. She nodded.

"Wait here. I shouldn't take long." She said. She got out from behind the car - that was parked outside the clubhouse and started walking towards the entrance.

She didn't understand how no one ever saw this random door in the middle of the parking lot. It wasn't even a door it was more like a curtain but still. How do people walk by it and not think 'there could be someone in there'? In their defense it actually is more hidden but today it was clearly noticeable.

There was the Aces & Eights logo on the curtain for crying out loud but whatever, some people just don't look closely.

Dallas stepped inside the tent and immediately saw Ken standing there.

"I swear if you even think about coming near me, I'll hit you with the chair, got it?" She spat, still mad about what he did a couple of days ago. She liked him a lot and he made it pretty obvious that he doesn't give a shit about her.

"Dallas, I really have to talk to you." Ken told her. Dallas rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"We've got nothing to talk about." Dallas said, trying to walk around him. He stepped in front of her, which caused her to groan," Can you get the fuck out of my way? I came here for one reason and that one reason isn't to have a conversation with you."

"Dallas, if I were you I would turn around right now, while you still can." He warned. He knew what Mark was planning on doing and none of it involved giving Ajay to Dallas," You shouldn't have come by yourself and right now if they see you here, they won't stop themselves from hurting you."

"Why should I listen to you?" Dallas asked," You made it pretty obvious that you don't care if I get hurt or not."

"You're right, you shouldn't listen to me but this is serious Dallas, there are five grown men in there with chairs that are ready to do anything to you if you walk through those doors." He said, sternly. She crossed her arms.

She shouldn't believe him but at the same time she knows Mark and what he likes to do. He won't stop at nothing to get what he wants and in this case, he wants AJ gone - for good. He'll be willing to take Dallas out if it means that AJ will be gone.

"Is Ajay in there?" She asked, the only question that she had left.

"Yeah, he's in there but trust me, they haven't done anything wrong to him." He answered, crossing his arms," In fact, I don't understand how he's enjoying being here."

"You guys obviously must have done something, so what'd you do?" She asked. He sighed.

"We may have put him to sleep, he just hasn't woken up yet to realize what's going on." He said with a shrug. She glared at him.

How in the world is putting a child to sleep doing nothing to them?!

"Are you stupid?!" Dallas yelled," You put the kid to sleep, of course you did something to him!"

"Quiet down." Ken whispered, hearing some voices behind the door. Dallas glared at him. She had enough of bullshit and she was going in there even if it meant getting hurt.

"Move out of my way." Dallas pushed past him.

"Dallas-" He was interrupted by Ajay screaming.

"Daddy!" Ajay yelled. She immediately knew that he had woken up and she had to get in there.

"Shut up, kid!" Knux yelled at him.

"Let me go." Dallas told him. He had grabbed her arm, preventing her for going in after the kid. He knew that if Dallas went in there then she wouldn't come out without getting hurt, badly. Ken cared about her so much and the last thing he wanted was for her to get hurt.

Dallas glared at him when he didn't let go. She had enough of him and trying to 'protect her'. She grabbed the chair and slammed it on Ken's back. It didn't cause much damage because she only hit him with one hand. She went for the next big thing and kicked him really hard in the stomach.

"Dallas.." He groaned, letting go of her. Dallas rolled her eyes before walking towards the door. She pushed it open and everyone looked towards her because of the loud noise.

Damn the door for being so loud.

"Dallas! We were wondering when you were going to show up." Mark said with a grin. They were all there but that's not what caught her attention. Ajay was sitting in a chair - tied up - with all of them surrounding him.

"The kid kept calling for his dad, it's funny because the only time he cares is when he's in trouble." Mark added. Ajay was staring at Mark with a look of fear. He was beyond scared of these people, he just wanted to go home with his dad and his brothers.

"Mark, let him go." Dallas said," He's a kid for crying out loud, just let him go. We both know he's not the one you want, you want AJ and AJ isn't coming. He stayed behind watching his kids so whatever you had planned isn't going to work because he isn't showing up here."

Dallas lied to him because if Mark knew that the kid wasn't going to help him in any way then he would let him go. She was just hoping that she still had time in her ten minutes that AJ gave her.

"We don't believe you." Devon said. Dallas sent him a glare.

"Well then that's on you. I can't believe you guys expect him to show up here." Dallas said, shaking her head. Ken walked in, looking perfectly fine.

He didn't care if Dallas got hurt anymore, he tried to protect her but she didn't listen so what's about to go down is all on her.

"Don't listen to her, I just saw AJ outside." Ken lied. He obviously knew that he was outside but he didn't actually see him. Dallas stared at him.

So much for trying to protect me.

"Get the kid!" Mark yelled. Wes and Garret grabbed him while Knux untied him.

"Let go of me!" Ajay yelled. Dallas was about to run after them but Ken held her back.

"Stop!" Dallas yelled as she saw Mark take his chain off. Ajay was crying out for AJ and it made Dallas' heart break," Don't hurt him! Mark, please, he's just a kid!"

Mark was wrapping the chain around his fist, slowly while the guys were holding him down.

"Hurt me!" Dallas yelled, causing them to stop," Just don't hurt him, hurt me all you want as long as you don't lay a hand on him."

Mark signaled the boys to let go of Ajay and for Ken to bring Dallas over. Ken hesitated for a second, he didn't want Dallas to get hurt but she somewhat deserved this in his mind.

"Just let me talk to him, really quick." Dallas told them. They let go of Ajay and he immediately ran to Dallas.

"Let her go." Mark ordered Ken. Ken let her go which caused her to fall to the floor. The little boy wrapped his arms around Dallas tightly. Dallas hugged him back, not believing that this was the same little boy that was calling her a slut earlier.

"Ajay." Dallas put her hands on his shoulders to put space between them," Your dad is outside, I want you to go to him. Don't worry about me and tell him to just go back to the hotel."

Ajay shook his head, furiously as the tears rolled down his face," No, we're not leaving you here."

"Go, I promise I'll be okay." Dallas said, knowing that she just promised something that she possibly couldn't keep.

"Why can't you come with me?" He cried. Dallas sighed.

"I'll be right out." She told him.

"Promise?" He said, looking at her. She nodded, softly.

"Go." She said, pushing him towards the door. Ajay sent Dallas one last glance before walking out.

He had been waiting outside for a little longer than ten minutes and he knew that if Dallas were in trouble that she'd give him some sort of sign. He knew she shouldn't have gone in there by herself but he believed that she could get Ajay and get out.

"Dad!" Ajay yelled. AJ turned around and saw his son running towards him. he picked him up, quickly, holding him tightly.

"I'm so glad you're okay." AJ mumbled, holding onto his son. He had never seen Ajay like this. Ajay was sobbing into his shoulder, loudly and he was shaking.

AJ was so happy that he was okay. He didn't want anything to happen to Ajay.

"D-Daddy, Dallas is s-still in there and-and they're going t-to hurt her." Ajay cried. AJ sighed. He knew that he shouldn't have stayed out here and let her go in by herself. AJ didn't want Dallas to get hurt either, after everything that she did for him.

The longer he's with Ajay, the more damage they could be doing to Dallas. And with that, AJ put Ajay down.

He crouched down to Ajay's level," Okay, buddy, I'm going to need you to be very, very brave right now, got that?" Ajay nodded," I need you to run inside and go to Jeff's locker room, he'll keep you safe while I go get Dallas, okay?"

"Is Dallas going to be okay?" Ajay asked.

"I hope so, buddy." He kissed his forehead," Go, it's one of the first doors when you enter, it says 'Jeff Hardy' on the door."

Ajay ran off, into the building, looking for Jeff's locker room. AJ watched him until he turned the corner.

He stood up and started walking towards the door. He was hoping that he wasn't too late. That Dallas was okay and that those assholes didn't hurt her too much.

Dallas opened her eyes, slowly. Her head was pounding. It felt like she rammed her head into a brick wall. She immediately realized that she was back in the hotel room.

"Daddy, come quick, she's waking up!" Albey yelled as soon as he saw Dallas open her eyes. She placed a hand on her head and felt a bandage on it.

"What happened?" She asked to anyone that would answer her. She didn't remember much. The last thing she remembered was watching Ajay walk out of the clubhouse doors. Then after that, everything was just a big blur.

AJ walked in with a cup of water and painkillers for Dallas to take," Look who woke up."

Dallas looked over at him and tried to sit up. She winced at the sudden pain in her midsection.

Not again.

Her midsection had just healed and now it was hurting her again.

"Hey, hey take it easy." AJ said, handing her the pills and cup of water.

"How are you feeling?" Avery asked, looking up at her.

"Yeah, are you hurt?" Albey asked. She noticed that Ajay was missing and she immediately began to think that he actually never got to AJ.

"Where's Ajay?" She asked AJ.

"He's in his room." AJ answered with a small smile. Dallas relaxed, instantly.

He's okay and it was all thanks to her. She may be in pain but she's happy that Ajay made it out safely.

"Boys, how about you guys go get ready for bed." AJ told them. They both got up from their place on the floor.

"Bye Dallas, we hope you feel better." Avery told her before they walked out. Dallas smiled. AJ ran a hand through his messy hair, not knowing how to thank her for getting Ajay out.

"So what's up?" Dallas asked, casually. AJ smiled.

"Thank you." AJ told her," If it wasn't for you, Ajay would've still been with them. You risked yourself for him and for that, I'm very thankful."

"It was nothing." Dallas mumbled," He's a kid, he doesn't deserve that."

"I owe you, big time." AJ said, sitting on the bed," You should probably get some rest, we're leaving to New York tomorrow."

Dallas nodded. She needed a little break but she knew that she wasn't going to get that. She also needed to get her midsection checked out again. She was hoping that nothing was wrong because she didn't need any more time out of the ring especially with her championship match around the corner.

"Good night." Dallas mumbled. AJ was about to get up but leaned down and kissed her cheek.

"Good night Dallas." And with that, he walked out. Dallas couldn't stop the big smile that took place on her lips.

He kissed her! Well not exactly on the lips but close enough. A frown started to form as she remembered the bet. A month and a half as gone by and she had two and a half months left. She sighed. This bet was going to end up killing her. She started getting feelings for AJ and no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't get rid of them.

I'm sorry AJ but I'm not losing this bet.
